(4) Put the washers (11) in position and install the screws (10).
(5) TORQUE the screws (10) to between 0.39 and 0.34 m.daN (34.51 and 30.09 lbf.in )

(6) Put the lavatory assembly (4) in position on the floor pan assembly (8).
(7) Put the washers (3) and (6) in position and install the screws (2), (7), (5) and (9).
(8) TORQUE the screws (2), (7) and (5) to between 0.39 and 0.34 m.daN (34.51 and 30.09 lbf.in )

(9) TORQUE the screws (9) to between 0.39 and 0.34 m.daN (34.51 and 30.09 lbf.in )

(a) If the condition of the Mylar is not satisfactory, repair it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-20-00-350-004).
(b) If you cannot repair the Mylar, replace it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-43-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-43-400-001).

(c) If necessary, remove the related waste-water pipe heaters and insulations (Ref. AMM TASK 30-71-53-000-001).
(d) If necessary, remove the related potable-water pipe heaters and insulations (Ref. AMM TASK 30-73-53-000-001).
(4) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(5) In the aft cargo compartment:
(a) Make sure that the applicable partition is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).
(b) Make sure that the applicable sidewall panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-003).

(c) If necessary, remove the related waste-water pipe heaters and insulations (Ref. AMM TASK 30-71-53-000-001).
(d) If necessary, remove the related potable-water pipe heaters and insulations (Ref. AMM TASK 30-73-53-000-001).
(4) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(5) In the aft cargo compartment:
(a) Make sure that the applicable partition is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).
(b) Make sure that the applicable sidewall panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-003).
H. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) If necessary, examine the Non-Textile Floor covering (NTF) as follows:
(a) If the condition of the NTF is not satisfactory, repair it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-20-00-350-003).
(b) If you cannot repair the NTF, replace it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-42-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-42-400-001).

(1) For the assembly of the lavatory, C. Preparation of the Lower Attachments
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Put the new AIPC 25-43-49-62-060 PACKINGS (8) and the bushings (7) in position.
(3) Move the smoke detector panels down into the lavatory assemblies to prevent damage when you put the lavatory assemblies in position.
Subtask 25-43-49-420-059-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Put the new AIPC 25-43-49-62-060 PACKINGS (8) and the bushings (7) in position.
(3) Move the smoke detector panels down into the lavatory assemblies to prevent damage when you put the lavatory assemblies in position.
CAUTION:
WHEN YOU MOVE A HEAVY COMPONENT, DO NOT PUSH IT ALONG THE CABIN FLOOR OR LET IT RUB AGAINST THE FLOOR. IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CABIN FLOOR AND/OR THE COMPONENT.
(4) Carefully hold the lavatory assemblies near their installation positions.CAUTION:
WHEN YOU MOVE A HEAVY COMPONENT, DO NOT PUSH IT ALONG THE CABIN FLOOR OR LET IT RUB AGAINST THE FLOOR. IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CABIN FLOOR AND/OR THE COMPONENT.
D. Assembly of the Lavatory (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Put the lavatory assembly (1) in position.
(3) Put the floor pan assembly (8) in position.
(4) Put the washers (11) in position and install the screws (10).
(5) TORQUE the screws (10) to between 0.39 and 0.34 m.daN (34.51 and 30.09 lbf.in )
. (6) Put the lavatory assembly (4) in position on the floor pan assembly (8).
(7) Put the washers (3) and (6) in position and install the screws (2), (7), (5) and (9).
(8) TORQUE the screws (2), (7) and (5) to between 0.39 and 0.34 m.daN (34.51 and 30.09 lbf.in )
. (9) TORQUE the screws (9) to between 0.39 and 0.34 m.daN (34.51 and 30.09 lbf.in )
. E. Preparation of the Lower Attachments
(1) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) to the bushings (7) and the new AIPC 25-43-49-62-060 PACKINGS (8).
(2) Put the packings (8) and the bushings (7) in position at the attachment point locations.
(3) Move the smoke detector panels down in the lavatory assemblies to prevent the clashes while you position the lavatory assemblies.
(4) Carefully put and hold the lavatory assemblies near its installation position.
Subtask 25-43-49-930-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) to the bushings (7) and the new AIPC 25-43-49-62-060 PACKINGS (8).

G. Installation of the Water Connections

(d) TORQUE the nuts (4) to between 5.58 and 5.04 m.daN (41.15 and 37.17 lbf.ft )

(2) Connect the waste-water drain connections as follows:

(c) Connect the waste-water drain hoses (1) to the waste-water drain tubes (3).

(3) Install the vacuum waste connections as follows:
(b) Apply Mineral Oil base Grease-General Purpose Medium Temp. - (Material No.03FBB1) to the new AIPC 38-31-84-26-060 O-RINGS (7) and put them in position on the aircraft structure.
(c) Put the vacuum waste hoses (14) in position, then install the washers (13) and the screws (12).
(d) TORQUE the screws (12) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in )

(e) Put the access covers (11) in position, then install the washers (13) and the screws (12).
(f) TORQUE the screws (12) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in )

(g) Clean the area around the vacuum waste hoses (14) with Disinfectant-Aircraft General - - (Material No.11AAA2) or Disinfectant-Aircraft General - - (Material No.11AAA2) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(h) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the heads of the screws (12) and the access covers (11).
(i) Put the sleeves (8) in position on the vacuum waste tubes (9).
(j) Apply Mineral Oil base Grease-General Purpose Medium Temp. - (Material No.03FBB1) to the new AIPC 38-31-84-26-060 O-RINGS (7).
(k) Put the O-rings (7) in position on the vacuum waste tubes (9) and the vacuum waste hoses (14).
(l) Connect the vacuum waste hoses (14) to the vacuum waste tubes (9).
(m) Move the sleeves (8) to the center position between the vacuum waste hoses (14) and the vacuum waste tubes (9).
(n) Install the clamps (10).
Subtask 25-43-49-420-091-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
DO NOT DO WORK ON THE WASTE WATER SYSTEM AND THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM AT THE SAME TIME.
THIS WILL PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. SUCH CONTAMINATION CAN BE DANGEROUS TO HEALTH.
(1) Connect the potable water connections as follows: WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED. A PRESSURIZED SYSTEM CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS WHEN THEY DO WORK ON IT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT YOU USE FOR THIS PROCEDURE IS CLEAN AND APPROVED FOR THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. IF NOT IT CAN CAUSE CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM.
WARNING:
BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM, CLEAN YOUR HANDS WITH SOAP AND WATER. THIS WILL PREVENT INFECTION. (CONTAMINATION FROM TOILET WASTE IS DANGEROUS TO HEALTH).
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.(b) Connect the potable water hoses (6) to the end fittings of the tubes (5) with the nuts (4).
(c) Make sure that the potable water hoses (6) are not twisted.
(d) TORQUE the nuts (4) to between 5.58 and 5.04 m.daN (41.15 and 37.17 lbf.ft )

(c) Connect the waste-water drain hoses (1) to the waste-water drain tubes (3).
(d) TORQUE the clamps (2) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in )
.(3) Install the vacuum waste connections as follows:

(j) Apply Mineral Oil base Grease-General Purpose Medium Temp. - (Material No.03FBB1) to the new AIPC 38-31-84-26-060 O-RINGS (7).
(k) Put the O-rings (7) in position on the vacuum waste tubes (9) and the vacuum waste hoses (14).
(l) Connect the vacuum waste hoses (14) to the vacuum waste tubes (9).
(m) Move the sleeves (8) to the center position between the vacuum waste hoses (14) and the vacuum waste tubes (9).
(n) Install the clamps (10).
H. Installation of the Air Connections
(1) Connect the air-extraction hose (7) as follows:
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Make sure that the line ends are clean and clear.
(c) Put the clamp (9) in position on the air-extraction hose (7).
(d) Connect the air-extraction hose (7) to the tube (11).
(e) TORQUE the clamp (9) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in )

(2) Connect the ventilation hose (8) as follows:
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Make sure that the line ends are clean and clear.
(c) Put the clamp (10) in position on the ventilation hose (8).

(3) Put the covers (5) and (6) in position, then install the washers (4) and the screws (3).

(5) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the heads of the screws (3).
(6) Close the panel assembly (1).

(6) Close the panel assembly (1).

(3) Put the clamps (15) in position and connect the ventilation hose (16) to the tube (14).
(4) TORQUE the clamps (15) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in )

(5) Put the clamp (21) in position and connect the hose (25) to the T-connection (20).
(6) TORQUE the clamp (21) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in )

(7) Put the clamp (24) in position, then install the spacer (26), the washer (22) and the screw (23).
(8) TORQUE the screw (23) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in )

(9) Carefully put the lavatory assembly in position.
(10) Examine the positions at the X and Y axis. Start with hard points L1, L2 and L5.
(11) If necessary, turn the threaded bushings (6) clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the vertical position of the lavatory.
(12) Make sure that the minimum distance between the bottom of the lavatory floor and the bottom of the threaded bushings is 0.5 mm (0.0197 in.).
(14) If necessary, turn the outer eccentric bushings (5) and the inner eccentric bushings (4) clockwise or counterclockwise until it is possible to install the bolts (1).
(15) If the washers (3) are removed, install them.
(16) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) to the threads of the bolts (1).
(17) Install the washers (2) and the bolts (1).
(18) Do not torque the bolts (1).
(20) Install the washer (18) and the screw (17) on the plate (19).
(21) TORQUE the screw (17) to between 0.40 and 0.32 m.daN (35.40 and 28.32 lbf.in )

(22) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the head of the screw (17).
(23) Put the seal angle (11) in position, then install the washers (9) and (12) and the screws (10) and (13).
(24) TORQUE the screws (10) and (13) to between 0.40 and 0.32 m.daN (35.40 and 28.32 lbf.in )

(25) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the heads of the screws (10) and (13).

. (9) Carefully put the lavatory assembly in position.
(10) Examine the positions at the X and Y axis. Start with hard points L1, L2 and L5.
(11) If necessary, turn the threaded bushings (6) clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the vertical position of the lavatory.
(12) Make sure that the minimum distance between the bottom of the lavatory floor and the bottom of the threaded bushings is 0.5 mm (0.0197 in.).
NOTE: A quarter turn of the threaded bushing is 0.5 mm (0.0197 in.).
(13) Put the outer eccentric bushings (5) and the inner eccentric bushings (4) in position. (14) If necessary, turn the outer eccentric bushings (5) and the inner eccentric bushings (4) clockwise or counterclockwise until it is possible to install the bolts (1).
(15) If the washers (3) are removed, install them.
(16) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) to the threads of the bolts (1).
(17) Install the washers (2) and the bolts (1).
(18) Do not torque the bolts (1).
NOTE: The procedure to torque the bolts (1) is available in the rigging task.
(19) Do the rigging of the Space-Flex V2 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-00-820-801). (20) Install the washer (18) and the screw (17) on the plate (19).
(21) TORQUE the screw (17) to between 0.40 and 0.32 m.daN (35.40 and 28.32 lbf.in )
.(22) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the head of the screw (17).
(23) Put the seal angle (11) in position, then install the washers (9) and (12) and the screws (10) and (13).
(24) TORQUE the screws (10) and (13) to between 0.40 and 0.32 m.daN (35.40 and 28.32 lbf.in )
.(25) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the heads of the screws (10) and (13).
J. Installation of the Door Sill
(1) Install the spacers (2) and (3).
(2) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area Chromate Free - (Material No.06LCB1) to the threads of the screws (1).
(3) Put the door sill (4) in position and install the screws (1).
(4) TORQUE the screws (1) to between 0.40 and 0.32 m.daN (35.40 and 28.32 lbf.in )

(5) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the floor pan in the inner part of the lavatory around the door sill (4).
(6) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the door sill (4) and the heads of the screws (1).
Subtask 25-43-49-420-093-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the spacers (2) and (3).
(2) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area Chromate Free - (Material No.06LCB1) to the threads of the screws (1).
(3) Put the door sill (4) in position and install the screws (1).
(4) TORQUE the screws (1) to between 0.40 and 0.32 m.daN (35.40 and 28.32 lbf.in )
.(5) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the floor pan in the inner part of the lavatory around the door sill (4).
(6) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the door sill (4) and the heads of the screws (1).
K. Installation of the Upper Attachments
(1) Put the bracket (15) in position and install the quick-release pins (14).
(2) Make sure that the access panel (1) is open.
(3) Put the tie-rods (3) and (8) in position on the aircraft structure, then install the quick-release pins (7) and (18).
(4) If necessary, adjust the tie-rods (3) and (8) as follows:
(b) Loosen the locknuts (4) and (9).
(c) Turn the tie-rods (3) and (8) clockwise or counterclockwise until you can install the quick-release pins (6) and (18) easily.
(d) Tighten the locknuts (4) and (9) and safety them with14QEB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.6 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - (Ref. AMM TASK 20-11-11-911-001).
(5) Put the tie-rods (3) and (8) in position on the lavatory structure and the bracket.
(6) Install the quick-release pins (6) and (18).
(7) Make sure that the tie-rod ends (5) and (10) are safetied.
(8) Connect the bonding strap (17) as follows:
(a) Release the bonding strap (17) from the lavatory structure.
(b) Connect the bonding strap (17), then install the washers (13), lockwashers (12), screw (16) and nut (11).
(c) TORQUE the nut (11) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in )
.
(d) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(9) Close the access panel (1).
(10) Make sure that the mechanism (2) is engaged correctly.
Subtask 25-43-49-420-095-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the bracket (15) in position and install the quick-release pins (14).
(2) Make sure that the access panel (1) is open.
(3) Put the tie-rods (3) and (8) in position on the aircraft structure, then install the quick-release pins (7) and (18).
(4) If necessary, adjust the tie-rods (3) and (8) as follows:

(a) Cut and discard the lockwire.(b) Loosen the locknuts (4) and (9).
(c) Turn the tie-rods (3) and (8) clockwise or counterclockwise until you can install the quick-release pins (6) and (18) easily.
(d) Tighten the locknuts (4) and (9) and safety them with
(5) Put the tie-rods (3) and (8) in position on the lavatory structure and the bracket.
(6) Install the quick-release pins (6) and (18).
(7) Make sure that the tie-rod ends (5) and (10) are safetied.
(8) Connect the bonding strap (17) as follows:

(d) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)

(e) Connect the bonding straps (3), then install the washers (2), the bolts (1) and the nuts (4).
(f) Tighten the nuts (4).
(g) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)

(a) Release the electrical connectors (10) and (9) from the aircraft structure.
(b) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(d) Connect the electrical connectors (10) and (9).
(e) Put the electrical harnesses (12) in position and safety them with the new TIE WRAP (11).

(3) Connect electrical connectors 7191VC-A (10) and 7193VC-A (9) as follows:(a) Release the electrical connectors (10) and (9) from the aircraft structure.
(b) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(d) Connect the electrical connectors (10) and (9).
(e) Put the electrical harnesses (12) in position and safety them with the new TIE WRAP (11).
M. Installation of the Water Connections
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Connect the potable water hoses (6) with the fittings (5) and tighten the nuts (4).
(c) TORQUE the nuts (4) to between 5.82 and 5.26 m.daN (42.92 and 38.79 lbf.ft )
.
(d) Make sure that the potable water hoses (6) are not twisted.
(2) Connect the waste-water drain connection as follows:
(a) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(b) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(c) Put the clamps (2) in position and connect the drain tubes (1) to the pipes (3).
(d) TORQUE the clamps (2) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in )

(3) Connect the vacuum drain connection as follows:
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the sleeves (10) in position on the vacuum waste lines (12).
(c) Apply the Mineral Oil base Grease-General Purpose Medium Temp. - (Material No.03FBB1) to new O-rings (9).
(d) Put the O-rings (9) in position on the vacuum waste tubes (18) and vacuum waste lines (12).
(e) Apply the Mineral Oil base Grease-General Purpose Medium Temp. - (Material No.03FBB1) to new O-rings (16) and put them in position on the aircraft structure.
(f) Put the vacuum waste tubes (18) in position and install the screws (15).
(g) TORQUE the screws (15) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in )

(h) Put the seals (14) in position and install the washers (13) and the screws (17).
(i) TORQUE the screws (17) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in )

(j) Move the sleeves (10) on the O-rings (9) and install the clamps (11).
(l) Apply the special materials Sealants Mineral Oil base Grease-General Purpose Medium Temp. - (Material No.03FBB1) to the seals (13) and around the heads of the screws (17).

(i) TORQUE the screws (17) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in )
. (j) Move the sleeves (10) on the O-rings (9) and install the clamps (11).

(l) Apply the special materials Sealants Mineral Oil base Grease-General Purpose Medium Temp. - (Material No.03FBB1) to the seals (13) and around the heads of the screws (17).
N. Installation of the Air Connections
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(3) Put the clamp (9) in position and connect the ventilation hose (7) to the ventilation tube (11).
(4) Tighten the clamp (9).
(5) Put the clamp (8) in position and connect the ventilation hose (6) to the ventilation tube (10).
(6) Tighten the clamp (8).
(7) Put the access covers (5) in position.
(8) Install the washers (4) and the screws (3).
(9) TORQUE the screws (3) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in )

(10) Close the panel assembly (1).

(4) Put the clamps (20) in position and install the spacers (19), the washers (21) and the screws (22).
(5) Tighten the screws (22).
(6) Put the clamp (16) in position and install the spacer (18), the washer (14) and the screw (15).
(7) Tighten the screw (15).
(8) Put the clamp (13) in position and connect the air-extraction hose (17) to the air-extraction tube (12).
(9) Tighten the clamp (13).
(10) Carefully put the lavatory assembly in position.
(11) Examine the positions at the X and Y axis. Start with hard points L1, L2 and L5.
(12) Put the outer eccentric bushes (5) and the inner eccentric bushes (4) in position.
(13) If necessary, turn the outer eccentric bushes (5) and the inner eccentric bushes (4) until it is possible to install the bolts (1).
(14) If necessary, turn the threaded bushings (6) clockwise or counterclockwise until the lavatory is vertical to the aircraft structure.
(15) Make sure that the minimum distance between the bottom of the lavatory floor and the bottom of the threaded bushings is 0.5 mm (0.0197 in.).
(17) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) to the bolts (1).
(18) Put the bolts (1) and the washers (2) in position.
(19) Do not torque the bolts (1).
Subtask 25-43-49-420-087-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(2) Put the clamp (10) in position and connect the ventilation hose (11) to the ventilation tube (9).

(11) Examine the positions at the X and Y axis. Start with hard points L1, L2 and L5.

(15) Make sure that the minimum distance between the bottom of the lavatory floor and the bottom of the threaded bushings is 0.5 mm (0.0197 in.).
NOTE: A quarter turn of the threaded bushing is 0.5 mm (0.0197 in.).
(16) If the washers (3) are removed, install them.(17) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) to the bolts (1).
(18) Put the bolts (1) and the washers (2) in position.
(19) Do not torque the bolts (1).
NOTE: The procedure to torque the bolts (1) is available in the rigging task.
(20) Do the rigging of the Spaceflex V2 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-00-820-801). P. Installation of the Upper Attachments
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Hold the bracket (11) and the tie-rod (9) in position and install the quick-release pins (10).
(3) Hold the tie-rods (6) and (9) in their correct position on the aircraft structure and install the quick-release pins (12) and (3).
(4) If necessary, adjust the tie-rods (9) and (6) as follows:
(b) Hold the tie-rod ends (7) and (4) that are not installed.
(c) Turn the tie-rods (9) and (6) until you can install the quick-release pins (12) and (3) easily.
(d) Make sure that the tie-rods (9) and (6) are in the locked position.
(e) Make sure that the tie-rod ends are safetied.
(f) Tighten the locknuts (8) and (5).
(5) Connect the bonding strap (15) as follows:
(a) Release the bonding strap (15) from the bracket.
(b) Connect the bonding strap (15) and install the washers (16) and (14) and the screw (13). Do the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(c) Tighten the screw (13).
(6) Close the access panel (1).
(7) Make sure that the mechanism (2) is engaged correctly.

Q. Installation of the Electrical Connections

(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) to the space between the floor plate and lavatory G.

(a) Install the toilet assemblies (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-41-400-001).
(b) Do not install the toilet shrouds at this time.
(2) Install the lavatory doors (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-19-400-804).
