A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the stowage compartment of the seat is empty.
(3) If you install a cabin-attendant seat which does not have a handset installed, continue from step 4. A.

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that all of the placards of the retained/new components are in the correct position and in good condition.
(4) If necessary, install new placards (Ref. AMM TASK 11-00-00-400-007) and (Ref. AMM D/O 11-32-25-00).
Subtask 25-22-41-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that all of the placards of the retained/new components are in the correct position and in good condition.
(4) If necessary, install new placards (Ref. AMM TASK 11-00-00-400-007) and (Ref. AMM D/O 11-32-25-00).
B. Installation of the Single Cabin Attendant-Seat
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Attach the washers (1) to the lavatory wall with Double Sided Adhesive Tape-- Foam Base - (Material No.05PAC1) .
(3) Hold the single cabin attendant-seat (2) in position and install it as follows:
(a) Make sure that the seatpan (8) is in the open position.
(b) Install the washers (4) and the bolts (5).
(c) TORQUE the bolts (5) to between 140 and 100 lbf.in (1.58 and 1.13 m.daN )

(d) Install the seat upholstery (6).
(4) Connect the electrical connector (3) as follows:
(a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(c) Connect the electrical connector (3).
(5) Close the access to the single cabin attendant-seat (2):
(a) Install the removed equipment in the stowage compartment of the single cabin attendant-seat (2).
(b) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(c) Remove the weight from the seatpan (8) and put it in the close position.
(d) Close the access flap (7).
Subtask 25-22-41-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Attach the washers (1) to the lavatory wall with Double Sided Adhesive Tape-- Foam Base - (Material No.05PAC1) .
(3) Hold the single cabin attendant-seat (2) in position and install it as follows:
(a) Make sure that the seatpan (8) is in the open position.
(b) Install the washers (4) and the bolts (5).
(c) TORQUE the bolts (5) to between 140 and 100 lbf.in (1.58 and 1.13 m.daN )
. (d) Install the seat upholstery (6).
(4) Connect the electrical connector (3) as follows:
(a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(c) Connect the electrical connector (3).
(5) Close the access to the single cabin attendant-seat (2):
(a) Install the removed equipment in the stowage compartment of the single cabin attendant-seat (2).
(b) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(c) Remove the weight from the seatpan (8) and put it in the close position.
(d) Close the access flap (7).
B. Installation of the Single Cabin Attendant-Seat
(1) Install the single cabin attendant-seat:
(a) Apply Mineral Oil base Grease-- Vaseline or Petrolatum - (Material No.03FAB1) to the first three threads of the bolts (5).
(b) Install the bolts (5) five to six threads deep into the inserts of the monument wall, if removed before.
(c) Make sure that the distance between the heads of the bolts (5) and the monument wall is a minimum of 9.0 mm (0.36 in.).
(d) Engage the key fittings of the single cabin attendant-seat (2) to the bolts (5) and put the single cabin attendant-seat (2) in position.
(e) Make sure that the seatpan (8) is in open position.
(f) Tighten the bolts (5).
(g) Open the access flap (1) and install the bolts (7).
(h) TORQUE all the bolts (7) to between 140 and 100 lbf.in (1.58 and 1.13 m.daN )

(i) Install the seat upholstery (6) if removed before.
(2) Connect the electrical connector:
(a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(c) Connect the electrical connector (4) and install the cover (3).
(3) Close Access
(a) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(b) Remove the weight from the seatpan (8) and put it in the close position.
(c) Install the removed equipment in the stowage and close the access flap (1).
Subtask 25-22-41-420-051-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the single cabin attendant-seat:
(a) Apply Mineral Oil base Grease-- Vaseline or Petrolatum - (Material No.03FAB1) to the first three threads of the bolts (5).

(b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(c) Connect the electrical connector (4) and install the cover (3).
(3) Close Access
(a) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(b) Remove the weight from the seatpan (8) and put it in the close position.
(c) Install the removed equipment in the stowage and close the access flap (1).
C. Installation of the Double Cabin Attendant-Seat
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) If you removed the screws (10), install them:
(a) Install the screws (10) into the inserts of the wall.
(b) Make sure that the distance between the heads of the screws (10) and the wall is a minimum of 1.0 +0.5 -0 mm (0.04 +0.02 -0.00 in.).
(3) If you removed the screws (7), install them:
(a) Install the screws (7) into the inserts of the wall.
(b) Make sure that the distance between the heads of the screws (7) and the wall is a minimum of 1.0 +0.5 -0 mm (0.04 +0.02 -0.00 in.).
(4) If you removed the washers (2), attach them to the wall with Double Sided Adhesive Tape-- Foam Base - (Material No.05PAC1) .
(5) Install the double cabin attendant-seat (3):
(a) Put the double cabin attendant-seat (3) in position.
(b) Engage the key plates of the double cabin attendant-seat (3) into the screws (10).
(c) Push the double cabin attendant-seat (3) down.
(d) Open the access flap (4).
(e) If you removed the washers (5), install them.
(f) Install the screws (6).
(g) TORQUE the screws (6) and (10) to between 158 and 122 lbf.in (1.79 and 1.38 m.daN )

(h) Connect the electrical connector (11):
1 Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
2 Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
3 Connect the electrical connector (11) to the receptacle (12).
(i) Close the access to the double cabin attendant-seat (3):
1 Install the seat upholsteries (9).
2 Install all removed equipment in the stowage compartment of the double cabin attendant-seat (3).
3 Close the access flap (4).
(6) Put the headrests (1) in position on the screws (7).
(7) Push the headrests (1) down to engage the key plates into the screws (7).
(8) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 25-22-41-420-051-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) If you removed the screws (10), install them:
(a) Install the screws (10) into the inserts of the wall.
(b) Make sure that the distance between the heads of the screws (10) and the wall is a minimum of 1.0 +0.5 -0 mm (0.04 +0.02 -0.00 in.).
(3) If you removed the screws (7), install them:
(a) Install the screws (7) into the inserts of the wall.
(b) Make sure that the distance between the heads of the screws (7) and the wall is a minimum of 1.0 +0.5 -0 mm (0.04 +0.02 -0.00 in.).
(4) If you removed the washers (2), attach them to the wall with Double Sided Adhesive Tape-- Foam Base - (Material No.05PAC1) .
(5) Install the double cabin attendant-seat (3):
(a) Put the double cabin attendant-seat (3) in position.
(b) Engage the key plates of the double cabin attendant-seat (3) into the screws (10).
(c) Push the double cabin attendant-seat (3) down.
(d) Open the access flap (4).
(e) If you removed the washers (5), install them.
(f) Install the screws (6).
(g) TORQUE the screws (6) and (10) to between 158 and 122 lbf.in (1.79 and 1.38 m.daN )
. (h) Connect the electrical connector (11):
1 Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
2 Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
3 Connect the electrical connector (11) to the receptacle (12).
(i) Close the access to the double cabin attendant-seat (3):
1 Install the seat upholsteries (9).
2 Install all removed equipment in the stowage compartment of the double cabin attendant-seat (3).
3 Close the access flap (4).

(a) Install the screws (6) five to six threads deep into the inserts of the lavatory wall.
(b) Make sure that the distance between the heads of the screws (6) and the lavatory wall is a minimum of 9.0 mm (0.36 in.).
(3) Install the screws (4) if removed:
(a) Install the screws (4) into the inserts of the lavatory wall.
(b) Make sure that the distance between the heads of the screws (4) and the lavatory wall is a minimum of 1.0 +0.5 -0 mm (0.04 +0.02 -0.00 in.).
(4) Install the double cabin attendant-seat (2):
(a) Put the double cabin attendant-seat (2) in position, engage the key plates with the screws (6) and push the double cabin attendant-seat (2) down.
(b) Open the access flap (1).
(c) Install the screws (5).
(d) TORQUE the screws (5) and (6) to between 140 and 100 lbf.in (1.58 and 1.13 m.daN )

(e) Close Access
1 Install the seat upholstery (7).
2 Install the removed equipment in the stowage compartment and close the access flap (1).
(5) Put the headrests (3) in position, engage the key plates with the screws (4) and push the headrests (3) down.
(6) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

(2) Install the screws (6) if removed:
(a) Install the screws (6) five to six threads deep into the inserts of the lavatory wall.

(4) Install the double cabin attendant-seat (2):
(a) Put the double cabin attendant-seat (2) in position, engage the key plates with the screws (6) and push the double cabin attendant-seat (2) down.
(b) Open the access flap (1).
(c) Install the screws (5).
(d) TORQUE the screws (5) and (6) to between 140 and 100 lbf.in (1.58 and 1.13 m.daN )
. (e) Close Access
1 Install the seat upholstery (7).
2 Install the removed equipment in the stowage compartment and close the access flap (1).
(5) Put the headrests (3) in position, engage the key plates with the screws (4) and push the headrests (3) down.
(6) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
