4. Procedure
Subtask 38-31-00-710-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Do this test.
ACTION
RESULT
1.In all lavatories:
  • push each flush switch 51MG with a time delay of 15 +3 -3 s.
In the vacuum toilet system:
  • the vacuum generator 37MG operates.
  • approx. 0.2 l (0.05 USgal) of water flows into the toilet bowl.
  • air flows out of the ventilation port of the vacuum generator.
  • the toilet flush valve opens and the suction removes the water.
2.At the waste service panel:
  • open the waste service-panel door 172AR.

3.In two lavatories:
  • push the flush switch 51MG.
In the vacuum system:
  • the vacuum generator 37MG does not operate.
  • the toilet does not flush.
4.At the waste service panel:
  • close the waste service-panel door 172AR.

5.In the lavatory:
  • push the flush switch 51MG.
In the vacuum toilet system:
  • the vacuum generator 37MG operates.
  • the toilet flushes correctly.
Subtask 38-31-00-710-062-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Do this test.
NOTE: Incorrect failure messages can show on the MCDU or FAP when a toilet flush occurs flight.
Make sure that no failure messages show on the Previous Flight Report or Last Leg Report before you do this test.
