3. Job Set-up
Subtask 25-23-42-860-052-A
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001)
   (2) Make sure that the aft curtain and curtain rail are removed, as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-003).
   (3) Make sure that the applicable galley parts are removed, as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-42-000-002).
NOTE: This workstep is only necessary, if the cabin has a space-flex concept.
   (4) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (5) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (6) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

4. Procedure
Subtask 25-23-42-420-062-A
A. Installation of the trim panel (1)
   (1) Put and hold the trim panel (1) in position on the mounting structure (8).
   (2) Through the openings for the ceiling panels (2) and (5), do the steps (a) to (d).
     (a) Install the bolts (17) and washers (18).
     (b) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
     (c) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
     (d) Connect the electrical connector (6) 7243VC.

B. Installation of the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4)
   (1) Make sure that the hinge (19) is in the correct position and the fastener (20) is locked.
   (2) Hold the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4) in position next to the hinges (21).
   (3) Install the screws (12).
   (4) Attach the second safety strap (14) to the bracket (16) on the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4).
   (5) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (6) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (7) Connect the electrical connector (15).
   (8) Push the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4) up and attach the safety strap (13) to the bracket (16).
   (9) Close the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4) and hold in position.
   (10) Push in the fasteners (9) that are attached to the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4).
   (11) Make sure the fasteners (9) are flushed with the ceiling panels.

C. Installation of the ceiling panel(s) (2) and/or (5)
   (1) Install the ceiling panel (2):
     (a) Hold the ceiling panel (2) carefully and push the assembly brackets (10) into the mounting slots (11).
     (b) Carefully move the ceiling panel (2) outboard and attach them on the mounting rail (8).
     (c) If a fixed emergency-locator transmitter is installed:
       1 Push in the fasteners (9) that are attached to the ceiling panel (2).
       2 Make sure the fasteners (9) are flushed with the ceiling panels.
     (d) If no fixed emergency-locator transmitter is installed:
       1 Install the assembly seal (7) into the mounting rail (8). Use the 98A25207503000 PULLEY ASSEMBLY - SEALING CORD
   (2) Install the ceiling panel (5):
     (a) Hold the ceiling panel (5) and carefully push the assembly brackets (10) into the mounting slots (11).
     (b) Carefully move the ceiling panel (5) outboard and attach them on the mounting rail (8).
     (c) Install the assembly seal (7) into the mounting rail (8). Use the 98A25207503000 PULLEY ASSEMBLY - SEALING CORD
Subtask 25-23-42-420-054-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
D. Installation of the Ceiling Panels (2) and (3)
   (1) Make sure that the hinge (15) is in the correct position and the fastener (16) is locked.
   (2) Hold ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3) in position adjacent to the hinges (17).
   (3) Install the screws (11).
   (4) Tighten the screws (11).
   (5) Attach the safety strap (12) to the bracket (14) on ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3).
   (6) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (7) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (8) Connect the electrical connector (10) to the Cabin LED Unit (CLEDU).
   (9) Push ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3) up and attach the safety strap (13) to the bracket (14).
   (10) Put ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3) in position and lock the quick-release fasteners (7).
   (11) Make sure that the quick-release fasteners (7) are flush with ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3).

E. Installation of the Ceiling Panels (1) and (4)
   (1) Install ceiling panel 261BC (1):
     (a) Hold ceiling panel 261BC (1) in position and carefully push the assembly brackets (9) into the mounting slots (8).
     (b) Carefully move ceiling panel 261BC (1) up.
     (c) If a fixed emergency-locator transmitter is installed:
       1 Lock the quick-release fasteners (7).
       2 Make sure that the quick-release fasteners (7) are flush with ceiling panel 261BC (1).
     (d) If no fixed emergency-locator transmitter is installed:
       1 Attach ceiling panel 261BC (1) on the mounting rail (6).
       2 Install the section hose (5) in the mounting rail (6) with the 98A25207503000 PULLEY ASSEMBLY - SEALING CORD.
   (2) Install ceiling panel 262BC (4):
     (a) Hold ceiling panel 262BC (4) and carefully push the assembly brackets (9) into the mounting slots (8).
     (b) Carefully move ceiling panel 262BC (4) up and attach it on the mounting rail (6).
     (c) Install the section hose (5) in the mounting rail (6) with the 98A25207503000 PULLEY ASSEMBLY - SEALING CORD.
5. Close-up

A. Operational Tests
   (1) Do the operational test of the ceiling lights (Ref. AMM TASK 33-21-00-710-001).
   (2) Do the operational test of the lavatory occupied signs (Ref. AMM TASK 33-26-00-710-001).
   (3) Do the operational test of the emergency exit signs (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-00-710-008).
   (4) Do the operational test of the area call panels (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-710-035).

   (1) Do the interface and power-up test of the CIDS (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-005).

   (1) Do the BITE test of the SDF (Ref. AMM TASK 26-10-00-740-801).

E. Close Access
   (1) Install the applicable galley-parts:
NOTE: This workstep is only necessary, if the cabin has a space-flex concept.
     (a) For galley G4B:
       1 Put the covers (6) in position and install the screws (5).
       2 TORQUE the screws (5) to between 1.69 and 1.36 m.N (14.96 and 12.04 lbf.in ) T.
     (b) For galley G4A:
       1 Put the panel (1) in position and install the screws (2).
       2 TORQUE the screws (2) to between 3.95 and 3.39 m.N (34.96 and 30.00 lbf.in )
T.
       3 Put the cover (3) in position and install the screws (4).
       4 TORQUE the screws (4) to between 1.69 and 1.36 m.N (14.96 and 12.04 lbf.in )
T.
   (2) If removed, install the aft curtain and the curtain rail (
Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-400-003).
   (3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

F. De-energize the ground service network
