B. Get Access
(1) Remove the aft curtain and curtain rail (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-003), if necessary.
(2) Remove the applicable galley-parts:
1 Remove the screws (4) and the cover (3).
2 Remove the screws (2) and the panel (1).
(b) For galley G4B:
1 Remove the screws (5) and the covers (6).
Subtask 25-23-42-865-051-A (1) Remove the aft curtain and curtain rail (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-003), if necessary.
(2) Remove the applicable galley-parts:
NOTE: This workstep is only necessary, if the cabin has a space-flex concept.
(a) For galley G4A: 1 Remove the screws (4) and the cover (3).
2 Remove the screws (2) and the panel (1).
(b) For galley G4B:
1 Remove the screws (5) and the covers (6).
C. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

Subtask 25-23-42-020-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the ceiling panel(s) (2) and/or (5)
(1) Remove the ceiling panel (2):
(a) If a fixed emergency-locator transmitter is installed:
1 Push and release the fastener (9) on the ceiling panel (2).
(b) If no fixed emergency-locator transmitter is installed:
1 Remove the assembly seal (7) from the mounting rail (8).
(c) Carefully move the ceiling panel (2) inboard and off the mounting rail (8).
(d) Lower the inboard edge of the ceiling panel (2) and pull the assembly brackets (10) out of the mounting slots (11).
(e) Carefully remove the ceiling panel (2).
(2) Remove the ceiling panel (5):
(a) Remove the assembly seal (7) from the mounting rail (8).
(b) Carefully move the ceiling panel (5) inboard and off the mounting rail (8).
(c) Lower the inboard edge of the ceiling panel (5) and pull the assembly brackets (10) out of the mounting slots (11).
(d) Carefully remove the ceiling panel (5).
Subtask 25-23-42-020-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the ceiling panel (2):
(a) If a fixed emergency-locator transmitter is installed:
1 Push and release the fastener (9) on the ceiling panel (2).
(b) If no fixed emergency-locator transmitter is installed:
1 Remove the assembly seal (7) from the mounting rail (8).
(c) Carefully move the ceiling panel (2) inboard and off the mounting rail (8).
(d) Lower the inboard edge of the ceiling panel (2) and pull the assembly brackets (10) out of the mounting slots (11).
(e) Carefully remove the ceiling panel (2).
(2) Remove the ceiling panel (5):
(a) Remove the assembly seal (7) from the mounting rail (8).
(b) Carefully move the ceiling panel (5) inboard and off the mounting rail (8).
(c) Lower the inboard edge of the ceiling panel (5) and pull the assembly brackets (10) out of the mounting slots (11).
(d) Carefully remove the ceiling panel (5).
B. Removal of the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4)
(1) Hold the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4) and push and release the fasteners (9).
(3) Hold the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4) and remove the first safety strap (13) from the bracket (16).
(4) Carefully lower the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4) until the second safety strap (14) stops the travel.
(5) Get access to the electrical connector (15) through the opening behind the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4).
(6) Disconnect the electrical connector (15).
(7) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(8) Hold the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4) and remove the second safety strap (14) from the bracket (16).
(9) Hold the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4) and remove the screws (12) that attach them to the hinges (21).
(10) Carefully remove the panel(s) (3) and/or (4).
Subtask 25-23-42-020-055-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Hold the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4) and push and release the fasteners (9).
NOTE: Two safety straps hold each ceiling panels in two different open positions.
(2) Carefully lower the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4) until the first safety strap (13) stops the travel. (3) Hold the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4) and remove the first safety strap (13) from the bracket (16).
(4) Carefully lower the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4) until the second safety strap (14) stops the travel.
(5) Get access to the electrical connector (15) through the opening behind the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4).
(6) Disconnect the electrical connector (15).
(7) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(8) Hold the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4) and remove the second safety strap (14) from the bracket (16).
(9) Hold the ceiling panel(s) (3) and/or (4) and remove the screws (12) that attach them to the hinges (21).
(10) Carefully remove the panel(s) (3) and/or (4).
C. Removal of the Ceiling Panels (1) and (4)
(1) Remove ceiling panel 261BC (1):
(a) If a fixed emergency-locator transmitter is installed:
1 Hold ceiling panel 261BC (1) and release the quick-release fasteners (7).
2 Remove ceiling panel 261BC (1).
(b) If no fixed emergency-locator transmitter is installed:
1 Remove the section hose (5) from the mounting rail (6).
(c) Carefully move ceiling panel 261BC (1) inboard and off the mounting rail (6).
(d) Lower the inboard edge of ceiling panel 261BC (1) and pull the assembly brackets (9) out of the mounting slots (8).
(e) Carefully remove ceiling panel 261BC (1).
(2) Remove ceiling panel 262BC (4):
(a) Remove the section hose (5) from the mounting rail (6).
(b) Carefully move ceiling panel 262BC (4) inboard and off the mounting rail (6).
(c) Lower the inboard edge of ceiling panel 262BC (4) and pull the assembly brackets (9) out of the mounting slots (8).
(d) Carefully remove ceiling panel 262BC (4).
Subtask 25-23-42-020-058-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove ceiling panel 261BC (1):
(a) If a fixed emergency-locator transmitter is installed:
1 Hold ceiling panel 261BC (1) and release the quick-release fasteners (7).
2 Remove ceiling panel 261BC (1).
(b) If no fixed emergency-locator transmitter is installed:
1 Remove the section hose (5) from the mounting rail (6).
(c) Carefully move ceiling panel 261BC (1) inboard and off the mounting rail (6).
(d) Lower the inboard edge of ceiling panel 261BC (1) and pull the assembly brackets (9) out of the mounting slots (8).
(e) Carefully remove ceiling panel 261BC (1).
(2) Remove ceiling panel 262BC (4):
(a) Remove the section hose (5) from the mounting rail (6).
(b) Carefully move ceiling panel 262BC (4) inboard and off the mounting rail (6).
(c) Lower the inboard edge of ceiling panel 262BC (4) and pull the assembly brackets (9) out of the mounting slots (8).
(d) Carefully remove ceiling panel 262BC (4).
D. Removal of the Ceiling Panels (2) and (3)
(1) Hold ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3) and release the quick-release fasteners (7).
(3) Hold ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3) and remove the safety strap (13) from the bracket (14).
(4) Carefully lower ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3) until the safety strap (12) stops the travel.
(5) Get access to the electrical connector (10) through the opening behind ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3).
(6) Disconnect the electrical connector (10) from the Cabin LED Unit (CLEDU).
(7) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(8) Hold ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3) and remove the safety strap (12) from the bracket (14).
(9) Hold ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3) and remove the screws (11) that attach them to the hinges (17).
(10) Carefully remove ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3).
Subtask 25-23-42-020-059-A (1) Hold ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3) and release the quick-release fasteners (7).
NOTE: Two safety straps hold each ceiling panels in two different open positions.
(2) Carefully lower ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3) until the safety strap (13) stops the travel. (3) Hold ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3) and remove the safety strap (13) from the bracket (14).
(4) Carefully lower ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3) until the safety strap (12) stops the travel.
(5) Get access to the electrical connector (10) through the opening behind ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3).
(6) Disconnect the electrical connector (10) from the Cabin LED Unit (CLEDU).
(7) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(8) Hold ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3) and remove the safety strap (12) from the bracket (14).
(9) Hold ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3) and remove the screws (11) that attach them to the hinges (17).
(10) Carefully remove ceiling panels 261CC (2) and 262CC (3).
E. Removal of the Trim Panel (1)
(1) Remove the bolts (17) and the washers (18) from the panel (1) through the openings behind the ceiling panels (2) and (5).
(2) Lower the trim panel (1) and get access to the electrical connector (6) 7243VC.
(3) Disconnect the electrical connector (6) 7243VC.
(4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Carefully remove the trim panel (1).
(1) Remove the bolts (17) and the washers (18) from the panel (1) through the openings behind the ceiling panels (2) and (5).
(2) Lower the trim panel (1) and get access to the electrical connector (6) 7243VC.
(3) Disconnect the electrical connector (6) 7243VC.
(4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Carefully remove the trim panel (1).
Galley-Part
