3. Job Set-up
Subtask 23-73-00-860-165-A
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
   (3) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (4) Energize the Centralized Fault Display System (CFDS).
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-003)
   (5) Make sure that a minimum of one cabin door is open.
   (6) Make sure that the passenger reading lights are energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 33-25-00-710-001).

NOTE: For OBRM P/N Z064H000033B or P/N Z064H000034C the passenger light signs and the passenger call lights will be off for 90 seconds after this task is completed.

  • Push the MCDU MENU pushbutton switch.
  • The MCDU MENU page comes on.
  • Push the CFDS related line select key.
  • The CFDS page comes on.
  • Push the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST line select key.
  • The SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page comes on.
  • Push the COM related line select key.
  • The SYSTEM REPORT/TEST COM page comes on.
  • Push the CIDS1 related line select key.
  • The CIDS1 main menu page comes on.
  • Push the OP TESTS line select key.
  • The CIDS1 OP TESTS page comes on.
  • Push the READING LT + ACP + PAX CALL + SIGN LAMPS ACTIVATION line select key.
  • The CIDS1 OP TEST OF LAMPS page comes on.

  • 'READING LT + ACP + PAX CALL + SIGN LAMPS ACTIVATED' comes on



In the cabin and in all lavatories:

  • The ACPs, reading lights, passenger call signs and other signs comes on.
2.On the CFDS-MCDU:
In the cabin and in all lavatories:
  • Push the RETURN line select key until the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page comes on.
  • The ACPs, reading lights, passenger call signs and other signs goes off.
3.On the CFDS-MCDU:
On the CFDS-MCDU:
  • Push the MCDU MENU pushbutton switch.
  • The MCDU MENU page comes on.
