EIS Stop Procedure

1. Reason for the Job
To have the six Display Units (DU) in standby condition (they are energized but no image is shown).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the SWITCHING panel 8VU, set the selector switches to NORM.

4. Procedure

A. Set the six Display Units (DU) to the standby position:

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the CAPT lighting/LOUD SPEAKER control panel 301VU:
turn the PFD potentiometer counterclockwise to the minimum standby position but not to OFF.	the CAPT Primary Flight Display (PFD) is black, or at least very dimmed.
turn the ND potentiometer counterclockwise to the standby position.	the CAPT Navigation Display (ND) is black, or at least very dimmed.
2.On the center pedestal, on the ECAM control panel:
turn the UPPER DISPLAY potentiometer counterclockwise to the standby position.	the upper ECAM DU is black, or at least very dimmed.
turn the LOWER DISPLAY potentiometer counterclockwise to the standby position.	the lower ECAM DU is black, or at least very dimmed
3.On the F/O lighting/LOUD SPEAKER control panel 500VU:
turn the ND potentiometer counterclockwise to the standby position.	the F/O ND is black, or at least very dimmed.
turn the PFD potentiometer counterclockwise to the standby position.	the F/O PFD is black, or at least very dimmed.
