Installation of the Aft Curtain Rail

Aft Curtain RailSubtask 25-26-41-860-051-A
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the aft curtain(s) is (are) removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-013).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the aft curtain(s) is (are) removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-013).
Subtask 25-26-41-210-066-A
A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
Subtask 25-26-41-420-053-J ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

B. Installation of the Aft Curtain Rail
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) If you removed the brackets (3) and the screws (6), install them.
(3) Tighten the screws (6).
(4) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the threads of the screws (2).
(5) Put the fittings (7) and the curtain rail (1) in position and install the screws (2).
(6) Tighten the screws (2).
(7) Put the end cap (4) in position and install the screw (5).
(8) Tighten the screw (5).
Subtask 25-26-41-420-053-P ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) If you removed the brackets (3) and the screws (6), install them.
(3) Tighten the screws (6).
(4) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the threads of the screws (2).
(5) Put the fittings (7) and the curtain rail (1) in position and install the screws (2).
(6) Tighten the screws (2).
(7) Put the end cap (4) in position and install the screw (5).
(8) Tighten the screw (5).
B. Installation of the Curtain Rails
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) If removed, put the brackets (4) in position and install the screws (3).
(3) Tighten the screws (3).
(4) Put the fittings (9) in position on the curtain rails (1) and (2).
(5) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the screws (6).
(6) Put the curtain rail (2) with the spring (5) in position and install the screws (6).
(7) Put the curtain rail (1) in position and install the screws (6).
(8) Tighten the screws (6).
(9) Put the end caps (7) in position and install the screws (8).
(10) Tighten the screws (8).
Subtask 25-26-41-420-053-AY ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) If removed, put the brackets (4) in position and install the screws (3).
(3) Tighten the screws (3).
(4) Put the fittings (9) in position on the curtain rails (1) and (2).
(5) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the screws (6).
(6) Put the curtain rail (2) with the spring (5) in position and install the screws (6).
(7) Put the curtain rail (1) in position and install the screws (6).
(8) Tighten the screws (6).
(9) Put the end caps (7) in position and install the screws (8).
(10) Tighten the screws (8).
B. Installation of the Aft Curtain Rail
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) If you removed the brackets (3), put them in position and install the screws (6).
(3) Tighten the screws (6).
(4) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the threads of the screws (2).
(5) Put the fittings (7) in position into the curtain rail (1).
(6) Put the curtain rail (1) in position and install the screws (2).
(7) Tighten the screws (2).
(8) Put the end cap(s) (4) in position and install the screw(s) (5).
(9) Tighten the screw(s) (5).
5. Close-up(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) If you removed the brackets (3), put them in position and install the screws (6).
(3) Tighten the screws (6).
(4) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the threads of the screws (2).
(5) Put the fittings (7) in position into the curtain rail (1).
(6) Put the curtain rail (1) in position and install the screws (2).
(7) Tighten the screws (2).
(8) Put the end cap(s) (4) in position and install the screw(s) (5).
(9) Tighten the screw(s) (5).
Subtask 25-26-41-410-061-A
A. Close Access
(1) If the aft curtain(s) is (are) removed, install it (them) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-400-013).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Make sure that all the placards of the retained/new components are in the correct position and in a good condition.
(4) If necessary, install new placards (Ref. AMM TASK 11-00-00-400-007).
Subtask 25-26-41-862-052-A (1) If the aft curtain(s) is (are) removed, install it (them) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-400-013).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Make sure that all the placards of the retained/new components are in the correct position and in a good condition.
(4) If necessary, install new placards (Ref. AMM TASK 11-00-00-400-007).
