Removal of the Wall-Mounted Cabin-Attendant Seats

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) If you remove a cabin-attendant seat which does not have a handset installed, continue from step 4. A.

A. Removal of the Single Cabin Attendant-Seat
(1) Get Access
(a) Remove the seat upholstery (6).
(b) Open the access flap (7) and remove all the equipment from the stowage compartment of the single cabin attendant-seat.
(2) Disconnect the electrical connector:
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (3).
(b) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.
(3) Remove the single cabin attendant-seat:
(a) Open the seat pan (8) and put some type of weight on it to hold it in the open position.
(b) Remove the bolts (5) and the washers (4).
(c) Close the access flap (7).
(d) Remove the single cabin attendant-seat (2) and the washers (1).
Subtask 25-22-41-020-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Get Access
(a) Remove the seat upholstery (6).
(b) Open the access flap (7) and remove all the equipment from the stowage compartment of the single cabin attendant-seat.
(2) Disconnect the electrical connector:
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (3).
(b) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.
(3) Remove the single cabin attendant-seat:
(a) Open the seat pan (8) and put some type of weight on it to hold it in the open position.
(b) Remove the bolts (5) and the washers (4).
(c) Close the access flap (7).
(d) Remove the single cabin attendant-seat (2) and the washers (1).
A. Removal of the Single Cabin Attendant-Seat
(1) Open the access flap (1) and remove all the equipment from the stowage compartment of the single cabin attendant-seat.
(2) Disconnect the electrical connector:
(a) Release the VELCRO strips and remove the protection cap (3).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connector (4).
(c) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.
(3) Remove the single cabin attendant-seat:
(a) If necessary, remove the seat upholstery (6).
(c) Remove the bolts (7).
(d) Lift and disengage the single cabin attendant-seat (2) from the bolts (5).
(e) Close the access flap (1).
(4) Remove the single cabin attendant-seat (2) and, if necessary, the bolts (5).
Subtask 25-22-41-020-052-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Open the access flap (1) and remove all the equipment from the stowage compartment of the single cabin attendant-seat.
(2) Disconnect the electrical connector:
(a) Release the VELCRO strips and remove the protection cap (3).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connector (4).
(c) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.
(3) Remove the single cabin attendant-seat:
(a) If necessary, remove the seat upholstery (6).
NOTE: VELCRO strips hold the cover of the upholstery in position.
(b) Open the seat pan (8) and put some type of weight on it to hold it in the open position. (c) Remove the bolts (7).
(d) Lift and disengage the single cabin attendant-seat (2) from the bolts (5).
(e) Close the access flap (1).
(4) Remove the single cabin attendant-seat (2) and, if necessary, the bolts (5).
NOTE: The bolts (5) are part of the single cabin attendant-seat (2).
B. Removal of the Double Cabin Attendant-Seat
(1) Pull the headrests (1) up to disengage the key plates from the screws (7) and remove the headrests (1).
(2) Remove the double cabin attendant-seat (3):
(a) Get access to the double cabin attendant-seat (3):
1 Remove the seat upholsteries (9).
2 Open the access flap (4).
3 Remove all the equipment from the stowage compartment of the double cabin attendant-seat (3).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connector (11):
1 Disconnect the electrical connector (11) from the receptacle (12).
2 Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Remove the screws (6).
(d) If the washers (5) are installed, remove them.
(e) Loosen the screws (10) but do not remove them at this time.
(f) Close the access flap (4).
(g) Lift and disengage the double cabin attendant-seat (3) from the screws (10) and remove the double cabin attendant-seat (3).
(h) If the washers (2) are installed, remove them.
(3) If necessary, remove the screws (7) and (10).
Subtask 25-22-41-020-052-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Pull the headrests (1) up to disengage the key plates from the screws (7) and remove the headrests (1).
(2) Remove the double cabin attendant-seat (3):
(a) Get access to the double cabin attendant-seat (3):
1 Remove the seat upholsteries (9).
2 Open the access flap (4).
3 Remove all the equipment from the stowage compartment of the double cabin attendant-seat (3).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connector (11):
1 Disconnect the electrical connector (11) from the receptacle (12).
2 Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Remove the screws (6).
(d) If the washers (5) are installed, remove them.
(e) Loosen the screws (10) but do not remove them at this time.
(f) Close the access flap (4).
(g) Lift and disengage the double cabin attendant-seat (3) from the screws (10) and remove the double cabin attendant-seat (3).
(h) If the washers (2) are installed, remove them.
(3) If necessary, remove the screws (7) and (10).
NOTE: The screws (7) and (10) are part of the double cabin attendant-seat (3).
B. Removal of the Double Cabin Attendant-Seat
(1) Pull-up, disengage and remove the headrests (3).
(2) Remove the double cabin attendant-seat (2):
(a) Get Access
1 Remove the seat upholstery (7).
2 Open the access flap (1).
3 Remove all the equipment from the stowage compartment of the double cabin attendant-seat.
(b) Remove the screws (5).
(c) Loosen, but do not remove the screws (6).
(d) Close the access flap (1).
(e) Lift and disengage the double cabin attendant-seat (2) from the screws (6) and remove the double cabin attendant-seat (2).
(3) If necessary, remove the screws (4) and (6).
(1) Pull-up, disengage and remove the headrests (3).
(2) Remove the double cabin attendant-seat (2):
(a) Get Access
1 Remove the seat upholstery (7).
2 Open the access flap (1).
3 Remove all the equipment from the stowage compartment of the double cabin attendant-seat.
(b) Remove the screws (5).
(c) Loosen, but do not remove the screws (6).
(d) Close the access flap (1).
(e) Lift and disengage the double cabin attendant-seat (2) from the screws (6) and remove the double cabin attendant-seat (2).
(3) If necessary, remove the screws (4) and (6).
NOTE: The screws (4) and (6) are part of the double cabin attendant-seat.
