A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the potable water system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002).
(3) Make sure that the potable water system is drained (Ref. AMM TASK 12-24-38-680-001).
(4) In the cockpit, on the overhead panel, on AIR COND panel 30VU:
(a) Make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
(5) On the HP and LP ground-air connectors, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to connect the ground air supply.
(6) On the water service panel, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to do the servicing of the potable water system.
(7) Make sure that all applicable doors are open to let you get access to all the parts that you must install/connect.
(8) If necessary, remove the contents of the galley.
(9) Make sure that all the items of non-electrical equipment are removed from the galley.
(10) Make sure that these items of equipment are removed:
(a) Make sure that the oven(s) is (are) removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-19-000-001).
(b) Make sure that the steam oven(s) is (are) removed (Ref. AMM D/O 25-35-19-00).
(c) Make sure that the water boiler(s)/heater(s) is (are) removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-27-000-001).
(d) Make sure that the coffee maker(s) is (are) removed (Ref. AMM D/O 25-35-15-00).
(e) Make sure that the beverage maker(s) is (are) removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-21-000-001).
(f) Make sure that the galley control panel is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-34-000-001).
(11) Make sure that the Attendant Indication Panel (AIP) is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-22-000-001).
(12) Make sure that the No Smoking/Fasten Seat Belts (NS/FSB) sign(s) is (are) removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-63-000-802).
(13) Make sure that the curtain(s) and the curtain rail(s) are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-003).
(14) Make sure that the ceiling panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(15) Make sure that the handgrip support assembly is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-46-04-000-801).
(16) If necessary, remove the aft utility-area ceiling-panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-42-000-002).

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do a visual inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
Subtask 25-33-50-420-070-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do a visual inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
B. Galley Assembly
(1) You can find the detailed splitline procedure for this assembly in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM). To find the CMM reference, you can use the applicable P/N in the IPC. You can use the FIN in the task title to find the applicable P/N.

B. Galley Assembly
(1) For the assembly of the galley,CMM 2571004 .
Subtask 25-33-50-420-071-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) For the assembly of the galley,
C. Installation of the Lower Attachments on the Cabin Floor
(2) Install the adhesive tape on the installation points of the bushes (9) (Ref. AMM D/O 51-22-00-40).
(3) Put the bushes (9) and the new AIPC 25-33-84-03-150 PACKINGS (8) in position.
(4) Put the rings (7) and the washers (6) in position.
(5) Prevent damage to the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(6) Carefully put the galley 100 mm (3.94 in.) in front of the installation position.
Subtask 25-33-50-420-080-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY. IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT IT, IT WILL FALL. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS, AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Make sure that the lavatory is installed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-43-49-400-802). (2) Install the adhesive tape on the installation points of the bushes (9) (Ref. AMM D/O 51-22-00-40).
(3) Put the bushes (9) and the new AIPC 25-33-84-03-150 PACKINGS (8) in position.
(4) Put the rings (7) and the washers (6) in position.
(5) Prevent damage to the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(6) Carefully put the galley 100 mm (3.94 in.) in front of the installation position.
D. Installation of the Supply Connections
(2) Put the clamp (15) in position on the fresh-air hose (14).
(3) Connect the fresh-air hose (14) to the pipe (16).
(4) TORQUE the clamp (15) to between 0.28 and 0.24 m.daN (24.78 and 21.24 lbf.in )

(5) Put the clamp (11) in position on the waste water hose (12).
(6) Connect the waste water hose (12) to the pipe (10).
(7) TORQUE the clamp (11) to between 0.28 and 0.24 m.daN (24.78 and 21.24 lbf.in )

(8) Put the clamp (5) in position on the potable water hose (7).
(9) Connect the potable water hose (7) to the fitting (9) with the nut (8).
(10) TORQUE the nut (8) to between 5.76 and 5.31 m.daN (42.48 and 39.16 lbf.ft )

MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT YOU USE FOR THIS PROCEDURE IS CLEAN AND APPROVED FOR THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. IF NOT IT CAN CAUSE CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM.
WARNING:
DO NOT DO WORK ON THE WASTE WATER SYSTEM AND THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM AT THE SAME TIME.
THIS WILL PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. SUCH CONTAMINATION CAN BE DANGEROUS TO HEALTH.
WARNING:
ALWAYS USE RUBBER GLOVES WHEN YOU DO WORK:
(1) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.- ON THE WASTE WATER SYSTEM, OR
- ON PARTS THAT HAVE CONTAMINATION FROM THE WASTE WATER SYSTEM.
(2) Put the clamp (15) in position on the fresh-air hose (14).
(3) Connect the fresh-air hose (14) to the pipe (16).
(4) TORQUE the clamp (15) to between 0.28 and 0.24 m.daN (24.78 and 21.24 lbf.in )
.(5) Put the clamp (11) in position on the waste water hose (12).
(6) Connect the waste water hose (12) to the pipe (10).
(7) TORQUE the clamp (11) to between 0.28 and 0.24 m.daN (24.78 and 21.24 lbf.in )
.(8) Put the clamp (5) in position on the potable water hose (7).
(9) Connect the potable water hose (7) to the fitting (9) with the nut (8).
(10) TORQUE the nut (8) to between 5.76 and 5.31 m.daN (42.48 and 39.16 lbf.ft )
. E. Installation of the Lower Attachments on the Galley
(2) Put the outer eccentric bushings (5) and the inner eccentric bushings (4) in position.
(3) If the washers (3) are removed, install them.
(4) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) to the threads of the bolts (1).
(5) Put the washers (2) and the bolts (1) in position.
(6) Do not torque the bolts (1).
Subtask 25-33-50-420-075-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY. IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT IT, IT WILL FALL. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS, AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Carefully move the galley to the installation position.(2) Put the outer eccentric bushings (5) and the inner eccentric bushings (4) in position.
(3) If the washers (3) are removed, install them.
(4) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) to the threads of the bolts (1).
(5) Put the washers (2) and the bolts (1) in position.
(6) Do not torque the bolts (1).
NOTE: The procedure to torque the bolts is available in the rigging task.
(7) Do the rigging of the space-flex V2 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-00-820-801).F. Installation of the Floor Seal and the Covers
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Apply Double Sided Adhesive Tape-- Foam Base - (Material No.05PAC1) to the foam assembly (6) and install it.
(3) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) to the threads of the screws (2).
(4) Put the seal (3) and the seal plates (1) in position and install the screws (2).
(5) TORQUE the screws (2) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in )
.
(6) Clean the seal plates (1), the heads of the screws (2) and the adjacent area.
(7) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the heads of the screws (2) and the seal plates (1).
(8) Seal the galley/floor interfaces:
(a) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the seal (3) and the floor interfaces.
(9) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) to the threads of the screws (5).
(10) Put the cover (7) in position and install the washers (4) and the screws (5).
(11) TORQUE the screws (5) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in )
.
(12) Clean the cover (7), the heads of the screws (5) and the adjacent area.
(13) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the heads of the screws (5) and the cover (7).
(14) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) to the threads of the screws (11) and (9).
(15) Put the covers (10) and (8) in position and install the screws (11) and (9).
(16) TORQUE the screws (11) to between 0.022 and 0.018 m.daN (1.95 and 1.59 lbf.in )

(17) TORQUE the screws (9) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in )
.
(18) Clean the covers (10) and (8), the heads of the screws (11) and (9) and the adjacent area.
(19) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the heads of the screws (11) and (9) and the covers (10) and (8).

. (6) Clean the seal plates (1), the heads of the screws (2) and the adjacent area.
(7) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the heads of the screws (2) and the seal plates (1).
(8) Seal the galley/floor interfaces:
(a) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the seal (3) and the floor interfaces.
(9) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) to the threads of the screws (5).
(10) Put the cover (7) in position and install the washers (4) and the screws (5).
(11) TORQUE the screws (5) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in )
. (12) Clean the cover (7), the heads of the screws (5) and the adjacent area.
(13) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the heads of the screws (5) and the cover (7).
(14) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) to the threads of the screws (11) and (9).
(15) Put the covers (10) and (8) in position and install the screws (11) and (9).
(16) TORQUE the screws (11) to between 0.022 and 0.018 m.daN (1.95 and 1.59 lbf.in )
. (17) TORQUE the screws (9) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in )
. (18) Clean the covers (10) and (8), the heads of the screws (11) and (9) and the adjacent area.
(19) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the heads of the screws (11) and (9) and the covers (10) and (8).
G. Installation of the Supply Connections
(2) Put the clamp (15) in position on the fresh-air hose (14).
(3) Connect the fresh-air hose (14) to the pipe (16).
(4) TORQUE the clamp (15) to between 0.28 and 0.24 m.daN (24.78 and 21.24 lbf.in )

(2) Put the bracket (5) and the tie-rod (13) in position and install the quick-release pins (3).
(3) Put the tie-rods (14) and (13) in their correct positions on the aircraft structure and install the quick-release pins (11).
(4) If necessary, adjust the tie-rods (14) and (13) as follows:
(a) Hold the tie-rod ends (12) that are not installed.
(b) Turn the tie-rods (14) and (13) until you can install the quick-release pins (4) and (3) easily.
(c) Make sure that the tie-rods (14) and (13) are in the locked position.
(5) Release the bonding strap (10) from the bracket (5).
(6) Connect the bonding strap (10) and install the washers (9) and (8) and the screw (7). Do the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(7) TORQUE the screw (7) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in )

(8) Put the cover (1) in position and engage the fasteners (2).

Subtask 25-33-50-710-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the warning notice(s) from:
- The AIR COND section of panel 30VU
- The HP and LP ground-air connectors
- The water service panel.
U. Operational Test of the Galley Systems
(1) Do a check of the air supply and the air exhaust systems as follows:
(a) Do the pre-conditioning with the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001) or through the HP ground connection (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001).
(b) Do the functional test of the applicable air-extraction point (Ref. AMM TASK 21-23-00-720-002). Do not de-energize the electrical circuits when the test is completed.
(c) Turn the air outlet clockwise until it is in the closed position.
(d) Make sure that no air comes out from the air outlet.
(e) Examine all the air hoses and the connections for leaks.
Make sure that there are no leaks.
1 If you find leaks, repair them.
(f) Turn the air outlet counterclockwise until it is in the open position.
(g) Make sure that the intensity of the airflow changes when you turn the air outlet.
(2) Do a check of the potable water system and the drain system as follows:
(a) Make sure that the potable water system is filled (Ref. AMM TASK 12-15-38-613-001).
(b) Pressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-001).
(c) Examine all the potable water hoses for leaks.
Make sure that there are no leaks.
1 If you find leaks, repair them.
(d) Operate the faucet and make sure that water flows.
(e) Let the water flow until it is clean.
(f) Examine all the waste water hoses for leaks.
Make sure that there are no leaks.
1 If you find leaks, repair them.
(3) Do the operational test of the galley electrical system as follows:
(a) On the galley control panel, make sure that all the circuit breakers are closed.
(b) Operate each electrical unit/component for a short time to make sure that it is serviceable.
Subtask 25-33-50-420-088-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do a check of the air supply and the air exhaust systems as follows:

V. Installation of the Components after the Test Procedure
(1) Install the components of the supply connections as follows:
(a) Put the insulations (13) and (6) in their correct position.
(b) Put the clamp (5) in position on the insulation (6) and tighten it.
(c) Put the insulation (4) in its correct position.
(d) Put the covers (2) and (3) in position and engage the fasteners (1).
(2) Install the pelmets (9), (10) and (12) as follows:
(a) Hold the pelmets (9), (10) and (12) in position.
(b) Release the bonding strap (16) from the lavatory.
(c) Release the bonding straps (6) from the pelmets (10) and (12).
(d) Connect the bonding strap (16), then install the washers (15) and (2), the screw (14) and the nut (17).
(e) TORQUE the nut (17) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in )

(f) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(g) Safety the bonding strap (16) with the TIE WRAP (13).
(h) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) to the threads of the screws (1).
(i) Put the spacers (4) and the clamps (3) in position, then install the washers (2) and the screws (1).
(j) TORQUE the screws (1) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in )

(k) Connect the bonding straps (6), then install the washers (5) and (2) and the screws (7).
(l) TORQUE the screws (7) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in )

(m) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(n) Engage the quick connectors (8).
(o) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) to the thread of the screw (11).
(p) Install the screw (11).
(q) TORQUE the screw (11) to between 0.19 and 0.17 m.daN (16.81 and 15.04 lbf.in )

5. Close-up(1) Install the components of the supply connections as follows:
(a) Put the insulations (13) and (6) in their correct position.
(b) Put the clamp (5) in position on the insulation (6) and tighten it.
(c) Put the insulation (4) in its correct position.
(d) Put the covers (2) and (3) in position and engage the fasteners (1).
(2) Install the pelmets (9), (10) and (12) as follows:
(a) Hold the pelmets (9), (10) and (12) in position.

(1) Install all the items of non-electrical equipment in the galley.
(2) If the contents of the galley are removed, install them.
(3) Close all doors.
(4) If the AIP is removed, install it (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-22-400-001).
(5) If the NS/FSB sign(s) is (are) removed, install it (them) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-63-400-802).
(6) If the aft utility-area ceiling-panels are removed, install them (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-42-400-002).
(7) Install the handgrip support assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 53-46-04-400-801).
(8) Install the ceiling panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-400-001).
(9) If the curtain rail(s) and the curtain(s) are removed, install them (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-400-003).
(10) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(11) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
