4. Procedure

A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Do a visual inspection of the grille(s) and the housing(s) of the air-extraction filter(s) in the related galley:
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU CLEAN THE GRILLS WITH A VACUUM CLEANER. IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE GRILLS.
     (a) If necessary, clean the grille(s) and the housing(s) with the VACUUM CLEANER.
     (b) If necessary, replace the air-extraction filter element(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-30-00-920-001).
   (2) Do the air-extraction test as follows: (Ref. AMM TASK 21-23-00-720-002)
     (a) Hold a sheet of paper to the applicable air-extraction inlet(s).
     (b) Make sure that the air suction holds the paper in position at the air-extraction inlet(s).
     (c) Remove the paper.
   (3) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (4) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (5) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

   (1) Prevent damage to the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (3) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (5) Put the oven (2) in position on the mounting rails (3).
   (6) Carefully push the oven (2) into the galley to connect the electrical connector.
   (7) Install the screws (1).
   (8) TORQUE the screws (1) to between 0.77 and 0.63 m.daN (68.14 and 55.75 lbf.in ) T.

   (1) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (2) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (3) Carefully push the oven (2) into the mounting rails (3) to connect the electrical connector.
   (4) Install the screws (1).
   (5) TORQUE the screws (1) to between 0.20 and 0.16 m.daN (17.70 and 14.16 lbf.in ) T.

   (4) Put the oven (3) in position on the mounting rails (1).
   (5) Carefully push the oven (3) into the galley compartment to connect the electrical connector.
   (6) Install the screws (2).
   (7) TORQUE the screws (2) to between 0.20 and 0.16 m.daN (17.70 and 14.16 lbf.in ) T.

WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
   (1) Install the oven in the forward galley:
     (a) Put the bracket (3) in position and install the screws (5).
     (b) TORQUE the screws (5) to between 0.79 and 0.57 m.daN (69.91 and 50.44 lbf.in ) T.
     (c) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
     (d) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
     (e) Put the oven (7) on the mounting rails (1).
     (f) Carefully push the oven (7) into the galley and connect the electrical connector.
     (g) Install the filler (2).
     (h) Clean the filler (2) and/or the adjacent area.
     (i) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.
06CMD9) on the filler (2).
     (j) Put the washers (4) in position and install the screws (6).
     (k) TORQUE the screws (6) to between 0.79 and 0.57 m.daN (69.91 and 50.44 lbf.in ) T.
   (2) Install the oven in the aft galley:
     (a) Put the bracket (3) and the washers (4) in position and install the screws (5).
     (b) TORQUE the screws (5) to between 0.79 and 0.57 m.daN (69.91 and 50.44 lbf.in )

     (c) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
     (d) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
     (e) Put the oven (7) on the mounting rails (1).
     (f) Carefully push the oven (7) into the galley and connect the electrical connector.
     (g) Put the washers (4) in position and install the screws (6).
     (h) TORQUE the screws (6) to between 0.79 and 0.57 m.daN (69.91 and 50.44 lbf.in )

   (1) Install the oven (3) in the forward galley and aft galley G3B as follows:
     (a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
     (b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
     (c) Put the oven (3) on the mounting rails (1).
     (d) Carefully push the oven (3) into the galley to connect the electrical connector.
     (e) Install the screws (2).
     (f) TORQUE the screws (2) to between 0.70 and 0.56 m.daN (61.95 and 49.56 lbf.in ) T.
   (2) Install the oven (3) in aft galley G4B as follows:
     (a) Put the bracket (4) in position and install the screws (5).
     (b) TORQUE the screws (5) to between 0.20 and 0.16 m.daN (17.70 and 14.16 lbf.in )
T.
     (c) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
     (d) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
     (e) Put the oven (3) in position on the mounting rails (1).
     (f) Carefully push the oven (3) into the galley to connect the electrical connector.
     (g) Install the screws (6).
     (h) TORQUE the screws (6) to between 0.39 and 0.34 m.daN (34.51 and 30.09 lbf.in )

     (i) Put the screen (7) in position and install the screws (8).
     (j) TORQUE the screws (8) to between 0.16 and 0.14 m.daN (14.16 and 12.39 lbf.in )

Install the oven(s) (3) in the related galley as follows:
     (a) Put the oven(s) (3) in position on the mounting rails (1).
     (b) Carefully push the oven(s) (3) into the galley and connect the electrical connector(s).
     (c) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) to the threads of the screws (2).
     (d) Install the screws (2).
     (e) TORQUE the screws (2) to between 0.20 and 0.18 m.daN (17.70 and 15.93 lbf.in ) T.
   (5) FOR [
6482MM] (GALLEY LOC.IV A/B)
Install the oven(s) (3) in the galley as follows:
     (a) Put the oven(s) (3) in position on the mounting rails (1).
     (b) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) to the threads of the screws (5).
     (c) Put the bracket(s) (4) in position and install the screws (5).
     (d) TORQUE the screws (5) to between 0.20 and 0.18 m.daN (17.70 and 15.93 lbf.in ) T.
     (e) Carefully push the oven(s) (3) into the galley and connect the electrical connector(s).
     (f) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.
05BAE1) to the threads of the screws (6).
     (g) Install the screws (6).
     (h) TORQUE the screws (6) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in ) T.
     (i) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.
05BAE1) to the threads of the screws (8).
     (j) Put the screen(s) (7) in position and install the screws (8).
     (k) TORQUE the screws (8) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in ) T.
     (l) Clean the screen(s) (7), the heads of the screws (8) and the adjacent area.
     (m) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.
06CMD9) to the heads of the screws (8) and the screen(s) (7).

C. At the applicable galley, on the galley control panel, remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s), then close the circuit breaker(s) of the oven(s).
