   (1) If necessary, remove the contents of the galley.
   (2) If necessary, remove the galley equipment (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-00-010-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 25-30-00-920-051-AH ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Replacement of the Galley Air Filter(s)
F Galley Air-Filter Element ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Remove the grill or the grill with filter pad from the air extraction duct.
   (2) Remove and clean the filter pad/clean the grill with filter pad (refer to the manufacturer's Component Maintenance Manual CMMv 2535031:4050G for Galley 1 and CMMv 2535032:4050G for Galley 5).
NOTE: Because of galley type and/or galley vendor, there are two types of filters.
On one type, it is necessary to replace all the grill assembly with filter pad.
On the other type, it is only necessary to replace the filter pad.
NOTE: This step is not necessary if no filter pad is installed.
   (3) Clean the air grill, component interface and/or the adjacent area.
   (4) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (5) If applicable, cut the new filter pad Article-- Air Filter - (Material No.14TAB1) to the correct dimension.
   (6) Put the new filter pad in position.
   (7) Install the grill/grill with filter pad on the air extraction duct.
   (8) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 25-30-00-920-051-BC ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Replacement of the Galley Air Filter(s)
F Galley Air-Filter Element ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Remove the grill or the grill with the filter pad from the air extraction duct.
   (2) Clean the grill or the grill with the filter pad, its interface and the adjacent area.
   (3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (4) If necessary, cut the new Article-- Air Filter - (Material No.14TAB1) to the correct dimensions.
   (5) Put the filter pad in position.
   (6) Install the grill or the grill with the filter pad on the air extraction duct.
Subtask 25-30-00-920-051-EE ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Replacement of the Air Extraction Filters
   (1) Replace the air filter of the forward galley:
     (a) Remove the screws (2) and the washers (1).
     (b) Remove the gasket (3).
     (c) Open the grid (4) and discard the filter (5).
     (d) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
     (e) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
     (f) If necessary, cut the new filter (5) to the correct dimensions.
     (g) Put the new AIPC 25-31-47-03-130 FILTER (5) in position and close the grid (4).
     (h) Put the gasket (3) in position.
     (i) Put the washers (1) in position and install the screws (2).
     (j) TORQUE the screws (2) to between 0.12 and 0.10 m.daN (10.62 and 8.85 lbf.in )
T.
   (2) Replace the air filter(s) of the aft galley:
     (a) Pull the gasket(s) (1) up to release the quick release connectors (2).
     (b) Open the grid(s) (3) and discard the filter(s) (4).
     (c) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
     (d) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
     (e) If necessary, cut the new filter(s) (4) to the correct dimensions.
     (f) Put the new 25334513-175FILTER(S)4 in position and close the grid(s) (3).
     (g) Put the gasket(s) (1) in position.
     (h) Push the gasket(s) (1) down to engage the quick release connectors (2).
NOTE: You can hear a click when the quick release connectors (2) engage.
Subtask 25-30-00-920-051-FC ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Replacement of the Air-Extraction Filter-Element(s)
   (1) Replace the air-extraction filter-element of forward galley G1 as follows:
     (a) Remove the screws (2) and the washers (1).
     (b) Remove the cartridge assembly (3).
     (c) Open the grid (4).
     (d) Remove and discard the filter element (5).
     (e) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
     (f) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
     (g) If necessary, cut the new AIPC 25-31-47-04-105 FILTER (5) to the correct dimensions.
     (h) Put the new filter element (5) in position and close the grid (4).
     (i) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.
05BAE1) to the threads of the screws (2).
     (j) Put the cartridge assembly (3) in position and install the washers (1) and the screws (2).
     (k) TORQUE the screws (2) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in ) T.
   (2) Replace the air-extraction filter-element of aft galley G3B as follows:
     (a) Remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).
     (b) Remove the cartridge assembly (3).
     (c) Open the grid (4).
     (d) Remove and discard the filter element (5).
     (e) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
     (f) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
     (g) If necessary, cut the new AIPC 25-33-42-05-235 FILTER ELEMENT (5) to the correct dimensions.
     (h) Put the new filter element (5) in position and close the grid (4).
     (i) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.
05BAE1) to the threads of the screws (1).
     (j) Put the cartridge assembly (3) in position and install the washers (2) and the screws (1).
     (k) TORQUE the screws (1) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in ) T.
   (3) Replace the air-extraction filter-elements of aft galley G4B as follows:
     (a) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
     (b) Remove the screws (2).
     (c) Remove the cartridge assemblies (3).
     (d) Open the grids (4).
     (e) Remove and discard the filter elements (1) and (5).
     (f) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
     (g) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
     (h) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
     (i) If necessary, cut the new AIPC 25-33-50-03-145 FILTER (1) and the new AIPC 25-33-50-03-145 FILTER ELEMENT (5) to the correct dimensions.
     (j) Put the new filter elements (1) and (5) in position and close the grids (4).
     (k) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.
05BAE1) to the threads of the screws (2).
     (l) Put the cartridge assemblies (3) in position and install the screws (2).
     (m) TORQUE the screws (2) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in ) T.
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) If the contents of the galley are removed, install them.
   (2) If the galley equipment are removed, install them (
Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-00-410-001).
   (3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

A. Close Access
   (1) Install the standard containers.
   (2) If the contents of the galley are removed, install them.
   (3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
