A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Before you do this task, make sure that you prepare for the space-flex V2 galley and the lavatory installation procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-50-400-802) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-43-49-400-802).

4. Procedure
Subtask 25-33-00-210-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do a visual inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).

B. Adjustment of the Galley
   (1) Adjust galley floor fittings A, B and C to their nominal positions:
     (a) Turn the bushes (2) clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the vertical position of the galley.
   (2) Make sure that galley floor fittings D, E, F and G do not touch the aircraft floor.
   (3) Tighten the bolts (1) with your hand at positions A, B and C, approximately three turns.

C. Installation of the C-Beam on the Galley
F Space-Flex V2 - C-Beam ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
   (2) Put the C-beam (9) in position, then install the washers (12) and (11) and the screws (13) and (10).
   (3) Do not torque the screws (13) and (10).
   (4) Adjust the galley in the vertical direction and align the surface of the C-beam (9) with the lavatory support brackets (14).
   (5) Do an alignment check of the galley, the lavatory and the C-beam (9).
   (6) Make sure that the forward faces of the galley and the lavatory are aligned with the horizontal direction correctly:
  • Make sure that distance B is 111.5 -2 mm or +2 mm (4.3898 -0.0787 in. or +0.0787 in.) above the kickstrips.

D. Installation of the Galley and Lavatory Wall-to-Wall Connection
   (1) Put the outer eccentric bushings (25) and the inner eccentric bushings (24) in position.
   (2) Align the outer eccentric bushings (25) and the inner eccentric bushings (24) at the neutral position.
   (3) Install the screws (23) and (17).
   (4) Make sure that the screw (17) is flush with the lavatory wall to prevent damage to the door hinge trim and the lavatory door.
   (5) TORQUE the screws (23) and (17) to between 1.02 and 0.73 m.daN (90.27 and 64.60 lbf.in ) T.
   (6) Put the covers (16), (20), (21) and (22) in position and install the screws (15), (18) and (19).
   (7) TORQUE the screws (15), (18) and (19) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in )
T.
   (8) Clean the covers (16), (20), (21) and (22), the heads of the screws (15), (18) and (19) and the adjacent area.
   (9) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.
06CMD9) to the heads of the screws (15), (18) and (19) and the covers (16), (20), (21) and (22).
Subtask 25-33-00-820-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
E. Installation of the C-Beam
F Space-Flex V2 - C-Beam ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
   (2) Install the washers (7) and (6) and the screws (5) and (8) on the C-beam (9).
   (3) Connect the bonding strap (3), then install the washers (4) and (2) and the screw (1).
   (4) TORQUE the screw (1) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in ) T.
   (5) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(
Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
   (6) TORQUE the screws (8) and (10) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in ) T.
   (7) TORQUE the screws (5) and (13) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in )

Subtask 25-33-00-820-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
F. Finalization of the Rigging Procedure
   (1) Put the spacers (5) and (6) and the door sill (7) in position, then install the screws (8).
   (2) Install the space-flex lavatory doors (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-19-400-804).
   (3) Adjust the space-flex lavatory doors (Ref. AMM TASK 25-40-00-820-803).
   (4) Remove the space-flex lavatory doors (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-19-000-804).
   (5) Remove the screws (8) from the door sill (7).
   (6) Remove the door sill (7) and the spacers (5) and (6).
   (7) Make sure that the bushes (2) touch the aircraft floor before you torque the bolts (1).
   (8) Tighten the bolts (1) at positions A, B and C first, then tighten the bolts (1) at positions D, E, F and G.
   (9) Make sure that the bushes (4) touch the aircraft floor before you torque the bolts (3).
   (10) Tighten the bolts (3) at positions L1, L2 and L5 first, then tighten the bolts (3) at positions L3, L4, L6 and L7.
   (11) TORQUE the bolts (3) to between 0.96 and 0.90 m.daN (84.96 and 79.65 lbf.in ) T.
   (12) TORQUE the bolts (1) to between 3.00 and 2.49 m.daN (22.12 and 18.36 lbf.ft )
T.
   (13) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.
06CMD9) to the interface of the galley and the lavatory.

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Go back to the installation procedures of the space-flex V2 galley and the lavatory (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-50-400-802) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-43-49-400-802).
