(2) Make sure that the emergency light(s) are removed from the applicable ceiling panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-11-000-001).

(2) Make sure that the emergency light(s) are removed from the applicable ceiling panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-11-000-001).
(3) Make sure that the left and right doors of the overhead stowage-compartments (Ref. AMM TASK 25-24-41-000-002) below the related ceiling panel are removed.

(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the emergency light(s) are removed from the applicable ceiling panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-11-000-001).
(3) Make sure that the left and right doors of the overhead stowage-compartments (Ref. AMM TASK 25-24-41-000-002) below the related ceiling panel are removed.
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized

(2) Make sure that the emergency light(s) is (are) removed from the applicable ceiling panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-11-000-001).
(3) Make sure that the adjacent ceiling panel of the forward utility area is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-42-000-001).
(4) Make sure that the CLEDU is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 33-21-11-000-802).
(5) Make sure that the filler panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-25-11-000-001).

(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Make sure that the ceiling panel (4) is in good condition.
(5) Make an inspection of the air conditioning outlet ducts.
(6) Make sure that the quick release fasteners (5) and spring fasteners (3) are in good condition.
(7) Make sure that the fluorescent lights and the electrical connectors are serviceable.

(7) Make sure that the electrical connectors (9), (10) and (13) are serviceable.
4. Procedure(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Make sure that the ceiling panels (1), (3) and (4) and the lateral ceiling panels (2) are in the correct condition.
(5) Do an inspection of the air-conditioning outlet ducts if necessary.
(6) Make sure that the interlocks (8) and the latches (6) are in the correct condition.
(7) Make sure that the electrical connectors (9), (10) and (13) are serviceable.

A. Installation of the Ceiling Panel
(1) Make sure that the overhead stowage compartment doors are closed.
(2) Put the ceiling panel (4) at an angle with the left side up above the overhead stowage compartments.
(3) Move the ceiling panel (4) as far as possible to the left.
(4) Lift the right side of the ceiling panel (4) above the overhead stowage compartment.
(5) Move the ceiling panel (4) to the right and into the spring fasteners (3).
(6) Put the electrical connectors (1) through the access doors (2).
(7) Put the pins of the quick release fasteners (5) in position.
(8) Pull the ceiling panel (4) down and lock the quick release fasteners (5).
(9) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(10) Connect the electrical connectors (1).
(11) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(12) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(13) Close the access doors (2).
(14) Close the stowage compartment doors.
Subtask 25-23-41-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the overhead stowage compartment doors are closed.
(2) Put the ceiling panel (4) at an angle with the left side up above the overhead stowage compartments.
(3) Move the ceiling panel (4) as far as possible to the left.
(4) Lift the right side of the ceiling panel (4) above the overhead stowage compartment.
(5) Move the ceiling panel (4) to the right and into the spring fasteners (3).
(6) Put the electrical connectors (1) through the access doors (2).
(7) Put the pins of the quick release fasteners (5) in position.
(8) Pull the ceiling panel (4) down and lock the quick release fasteners (5).
(9) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(10) Connect the electrical connectors (1).
(11) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(12) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(13) Close the access doors (2).
(14) Close the stowage compartment doors.
A. Installation of the Ceiling Panel
(1) Install the ceiling panel (10):
(a) Put the ceiling panel (10) at an angle with the left side up above the overhead stowage-compartments.
(b) Move the ceiling panel (10) as far as possible to the left.
(c) Lift the right side of the ceiling panel (10) above the overhead stowage-compartment.
(d) Move the ceiling panel (10) to the right and into the spring fasteners (12).
(e) Put the electrical connectors (8) through the access doors (9).
(f) Put the pins of the quick-release fasteners (11) in position.
(g) Pull the ceiling panel (10) down and lock the quick-release fasteners (11).
(h) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(i) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(j) Connect the electrical connectors (8).
(k) Close the access doors (9).
(2) Install the related door/s (1):
(a) Carefully put, and hold the door (1) in position.
(b) Install the pins (7) in the hinges (2).
(c) Put the damper (5) in position and install the pins (6), the washers (4) and the retaining rings (3).
(d) Close the door (1).
Subtask 25-23-41-420-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the ceiling panel (10):
(a) Put the ceiling panel (10) at an angle with the left side up above the overhead stowage-compartments.
(b) Move the ceiling panel (10) as far as possible to the left.
(c) Lift the right side of the ceiling panel (10) above the overhead stowage-compartment.
(d) Move the ceiling panel (10) to the right and into the spring fasteners (12).
(e) Put the electrical connectors (8) through the access doors (9).
(f) Put the pins of the quick-release fasteners (11) in position.
(g) Pull the ceiling panel (10) down and lock the quick-release fasteners (11).
(h) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(i) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(j) Connect the electrical connectors (8).
(k) Close the access doors (9).
(2) Install the related door/s (1):
(a) Carefully put, and hold the door (1) in position.
(b) Install the pins (7) in the hinges (2).
(c) Put the damper (5) in position and install the pins (6), the washers (4) and the retaining rings (3).
(d) Close the door (1).

(1) Put the ceiling panel (4) at an angle with the left side up above the overhead stowage compartments.
(2) Move the ceiling panel (4) as far as possible to the left.
(3) Lift the right side of the ceiling panel (4) above the overhead stowage compartment.
(4) Move the ceiling panel (4) to the right and into the spring fasteners (3).
(5) Put the electrical connectors (1) through the access doors (2).
(6) Put the pins of the quick release fasteners (5) in position.
(7) Pull the ceiling panel (4) down and lock the quick release fasteners (5).
(8) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(9) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(10) Connect the electrical connectors (1).
(11) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(12) Close the access doors (2).

(2) Move the ceiling panel (4) as far as possible to the left.
(3) Lift the right side of the ceiling panel (4) above the overhead stowage compartment.
(4) Move the ceiling panel (4) to the right and into the spring fasteners (3).
(5) Put the electrical connectors (1) through the access doors (2).
(6) Put the pins of the quick release fasteners (5) in position.
(7) Pull the ceiling panel (4) down and lock the quick release fasteners (5).
(8) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(9) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(10) Connect the electrical connectors (1).
(11) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(12) Close the access doors (2).
A. Installation of the Ceiling Panel:
(1) Make sure that the drawers (5) are open.
(2) Put the ceiling panel (4) at an angle with the right side up above the overhead stowage compartments.
(3) Move the ceiling panel (4) as far as possible to the right.
(4) Lift the left side of the ceiling panel (4) above the overhead stowage compartment.
(5) Move the pins (8) into the brackets (9).
(6) Put the electrical connectors (1) through the access doors (2).
(7) Move the ceiling panel (4) to the left until you can move the pins (3) into the brackets (7).
(8) Pull the ceiling panel (4) down and push the drawers (5) into their locked position.
(9) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(10) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(11) Connect the electrical connectors (1).
(12) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(13) Close the access doors (2).

(2) Put the ceiling panel (4) at an angle with the right side up above the overhead stowage compartments.
(3) Move the ceiling panel (4) as far as possible to the right.

(6) Put the electrical connectors (1) through the access doors (2).
(7) Move the ceiling panel (4) to the left until you can move the pins (3) into the brackets (7).
(8) Pull the ceiling panel (4) down and push the drawers (5) into their locked position.
(9) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(10) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(11) Connect the electrical connectors (1).
(12) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(13) Close the access doors (2).
A. Installation of the Ceiling Panel:
(1) Put the ceiling panel (1) at an angle with the right side up above the overhead stowage compartments.
(2) Move the ceiling panel (1) as far as possible to the right.
(3) Lift the left side of the ceiling panel (1) above the overhead stowage compartment.
(4) Move the pins (3) into the brackets (2).
(5) Push the lower ceiling panel (1) up.
(6) Make sure that the spring loaded fastener (6) are in the correct position.
(7) Put the electrical connectors (4) through the access doors (5).
(8) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(9) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(10) Connect the electrical connectors (4).
(11) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(12) Close the access doors (5).
Subtask 25-23-41-420-050-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the ceiling panel (1) at an angle with the right side up above the overhead stowage compartments.
(2) Move the ceiling panel (1) as far as possible to the right.
(3) Lift the left side of the ceiling panel (1) above the overhead stowage compartment.
(4) Move the pins (3) into the brackets (2).
(5) Push the lower ceiling panel (1) up.
(6) Make sure that the spring loaded fastener (6) are in the correct position.
(7) Put the electrical connectors (4) through the access doors (5).
(8) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(9) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(10) Connect the electrical connectors (4).
(11) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(12) Close the access doors (5).
A. Installation of the Ceiling Panel
(2) Install the ceiling panel (1):
(a) For ceiling panel 231CC:
1 Make sure that ceiling panel 231DC is not installed.
2 Put ceiling panel 231CC in position at the location of ceiling panel 231DC.
(b) Put the ceiling panel (1) with an angle and the right side up above the overhead stowage compartments.
(c) Move the ceiling panel (1) as far as possible to the right.
(d) Lift the left side of the ceiling panel (1) above the overhead stowage compartment.
(e) For ceiling panel 231CC:
1 Move ceiling panel 231CC forward.
(f) Move the pins (3) into the brackets (2).
(g) Push the lower ceiling panel (1) up.
(h) Make sure that the spring loaded fasteners (6) are in the correct position.
(3) Put the electrical connectors (4) through the access doors (5).
(4) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(6) Connect the electrical connectors (4).
(7) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(8) Close the access doors (5).
Subtask 25-23-41-420-050-L ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: In the area of ceiling panel 231CC a harness is installed. Therefore there is not sufficient space for the installation of ceiling panel 231CC.
(1) Ceiling panel 231DC has to be removed before the installation of ceiling panel 231CC.(2) Install the ceiling panel (1):
(a) For ceiling panel 231CC:
1 Make sure that ceiling panel 231DC is not installed.
2 Put ceiling panel 231CC in position at the location of ceiling panel 231DC.
(b) Put the ceiling panel (1) with an angle and the right side up above the overhead stowage compartments.
(c) Move the ceiling panel (1) as far as possible to the right.
(d) Lift the left side of the ceiling panel (1) above the overhead stowage compartment.
(e) For ceiling panel 231CC:
1 Move ceiling panel 231CC forward.
(f) Move the pins (3) into the brackets (2).
(g) Push the lower ceiling panel (1) up.
(h) Make sure that the spring loaded fasteners (6) are in the correct position.
(3) Put the electrical connectors (4) through the access doors (5).
(4) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(6) Connect the electrical connectors (4).
(7) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(8) Close the access doors (5).
A. Installation of the Ceiling Panels
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Make sure that you install the ceiling panels (1) and (4) before you install the ceiling panels (3).
(3) For the ceiling panels (1) and (4) and the lateral ceiling panels (2):
(a) Put the lateral ceiling panels (2) in position and engage the brackets (11).
(b) Carefully lift the lateral ceiling panels (2) and engage the studs (5) in the slide cases.
(c) Make sure that the ceiling panels are correctly engaged.
(d) Install the washers (14) and the screws (15).
(e) Torque the screws (15) to between 0.28 and 0.23 m.daN (24.78 and 20.35 lbf.in )
.
(f) Carefully install the panel (19) and the brackets (16).
(g) Install the washers (18) and the screws (17).
(h) Torque the screws (17) to between 4.8 and 3.7 m.N (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in )
.
(i) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(j) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(k) Connect the electrical connectors (9) and (13).
(l) Hold the ceiling panels (1) and (4) near the monument and move it in position.
(m) Engage the brackets (7).
(n) Carefully lift the ceiling panels (1) and (4) and engage the studs (5) in the slide cases.
(o) Make sure that the ceiling panels are correctly engaged.
(p) Make sure that you engaged correctly the interlocks (8).
(4) For the ceiling panels (3):
(a) Install the ceiling panels (3) with electrical connectors first.
(b) Put the ceiling panels (3) in position and engage the panel holders (12).
(c) Carefully lift the ceiling panels (3) and engage the studs (5) in the slide.
(d) Make sure that the ceiling panels are correctly engaged.
(e) Make sure that you engaged correctly the interlocks (8).
(f) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.

5. Close-up(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Make sure that you install the ceiling panels (1) and (4) before you install the ceiling panels (3).
(3) For the ceiling panels (1) and (4) and the lateral ceiling panels (2):
(a) Put the lateral ceiling panels (2) in position and engage the brackets (11).
(b) Carefully lift the lateral ceiling panels (2) and engage the studs (5) in the slide cases.
(c) Make sure that the ceiling panels are correctly engaged.
(d) Install the washers (14) and the screws (15).
(e) Torque the screws (15) to between 0.28 and 0.23 m.daN (24.78 and 20.35 lbf.in )
. (f) Carefully install the panel (19) and the brackets (16).
(g) Install the washers (18) and the screws (17).
(h) Torque the screws (17) to between 4.8 and 3.7 m.N (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in )
. (i) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(j) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(k) Connect the electrical connectors (9) and (13).
(l) Hold the ceiling panels (1) and (4) near the monument and move it in position.
(m) Engage the brackets (7).
(n) Carefully lift the ceiling panels (1) and (4) and engage the studs (5) in the slide cases.
(o) Make sure that the ceiling panels are correctly engaged.
(p) Make sure that you engaged correctly the interlocks (8).
(4) For the ceiling panels (3):
(a) Install the ceiling panels (3) with electrical connectors first.
(b) Put the ceiling panels (3) in position and engage the panel holders (12).
(c) Carefully lift the ceiling panels (3) and engage the studs (5) in the slide.
(d) Make sure that the ceiling panels are correctly engaged.
(e) Make sure that you engaged correctly the interlocks (8).
(f) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(g) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(h) Connect the electrical connectors (10).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
