(1) Installation of the Cabin Emergency-Light Assembly mounted in the Ceiling
(a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(b) Connect the electrical connector (2) to the light housing (5).
(c) Install the light housing (5) with the screws (1).
(d) Install the lens (4) to the light housing (5).
Make sure that you hear a click when the lens (4) locks in position.
(2) Installation of the Cabin Emergency-Light Assembly mounted in the Door-Area
(a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(b) Connect the electrical connectors (8) to the light housing (7).
(c) Install the light housing (7).
Make sure that you hear a click when the light housing (7) locks in position.
(d) Install the lens (6) to the light housing (7).
Make sure that you hear a click when the lens (6) locks in position.
(3) Installation of the Bulb(s) of the Cabin Emergency Light
(a) Install the bulb(s) (3) and (10) in the light housing (5) and (7).

NOTE: The teach-in procedure of the EPSUs measures and keeps the load values that are related to each EPSU. The EPSU controller refers to these load values when the BITE test of the emergency lighting system operates. Thus, it is necessary that the emergency lights of the related EPSUs operate correctly during the teach-in procedure.

(1) On the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL is in the OFF position.
(2) On the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the NO SMOKING switch 190RH is in the OFF position.
(3) On the Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, make sure that the LIGHT EMER pushbutton switch and its integral lights are off.

(c) Install the light housing (6). Make sure that you hear a click when the light housing (6) locks in position.
(d) Install the lens (5) to the light housing (6).

CAUTION:
REFER TO THE MATCH MARKS MADE DURING THE REMOVAL WHEN YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL WIRES.
