Removal of the Cabin Emergency Lights
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT. UNWANTED ELECTRICAL POWER CAN BE DANGEROUS.
WARNING:
WHEN YOU INSTALL THE EMERGENCY LIGHT OR THE LIGHT LENS, MAKE SURE THAT IT POINTS TO THE FLOOR. IF IT DOES NOT POINT TO THE FLOOR, THERE IS A RISK THAT, DURING EVACUATION:
- THE PASSENGERS WILL GET THE LIGHT IN THEIR EYES
- THE PASSENGERS WILL NOT SEE THE EMERGENCY ESCAPE PATH CORRECTLY.
NOTE: The procedure is the same for all cabin emergency lights.
