Installation of the Door of the Overhead Stowage-Compartment

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

A. Installation of the Overhead Stowage-Compartment Door
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Hold the door (1) in position and align the holes in the door with the holes in the hinge (4).
(5) Install the washers (3) and the screws (2).
(6) Torque the screws (2) to between 0.26 and 0.22 m.daN (23.01 and 19.47 lbf.in )

(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Hold the door (1) in position and align the holes in the door with the holes in the hinge (4).
(5) Install the washers (3) and the screws (2).
(6) Torque the screws (2) to between 0.26 and 0.22 m.daN (23.01 and 19.47 lbf.in )

(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Put the door (1) in position in the housing (5).
(5) Push the spline (2) back in the housing (5).
(6) Make sure that the spline (2) is fully engaged.

(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Put the door (1) in position in the housing (5).
(5) Push the spline (2) back in the housing (5).
(6) Make sure that the spline (2) is fully engaged.
NOTE: The pin (3) needs to be correctly engaged to the hole (4).

(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Put the door (1) in position in the housings (5).
(5) Push the splines (2) back in the housings (5).
(6) Make sure that the splines (2) are fully engaged. The splines (2) are engaged when you hear a click.
(8) Close the door (1).

(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Put the door (1) in position in the housings (5).
(5) Push the splines (2) back in the housings (5).
(6) Make sure that the splines (2) are fully engaged. The splines (2) are engaged when you hear a click.
NOTE: The click tells you that the splines (2) are correctly engaged.
(7) Make sure that the pins (3) are correctly engaged to the holes (4). (8) Close the door (1).

. B. Adjustment of the Overhead Stowage-Compartment Door
(1) If necessary, adjust the distance between the doors (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-24-00-710-001).
5. Close-up(1) If necessary, adjust the distance between the doors (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-24-00-710-001).
