A. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at passenger/crew door 832( 842).
(2) Make sure that passenger/crew door 832( 842) is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the door frame linings are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-004).
(4) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at passenger/crew door 832( 842).
(2) Make sure that passenger/crew door 832( 842) is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the door frame linings are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-004).
(4) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
Subtask 53-46-04-420-050-A
A. Installation of the Handgrip Support Assembly
(1) If necessary, clean the mating surfaces between the components with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) (11) on the mating surfaces between the handgrip support assemblies (1) and (2) and the structure (7).
(3) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) (11) on the threads of the screws (4) and the bolts (3).
(4) Put the handgrip support assemblies (1) and (2) in position on the structure (7).
(5) Install the screws (4) and the bolts (3).
(6) TORQUE the screws (4) and the bolts (3) to between 4.80 and 3.70 m.N (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in )

(7) Install the fitting (5) and the bolts (6) on the handgrip support assembly (1).
(8) TORQUE the bolts (6) to between 10.60 and 8.20 m.N (93.81 and 72.57 lbf.in )
.
(9) Apply a layer of Adhesion Promoter-For Polysulfide Sealant - - (Material No.06PAG1) (10) and Polysulfide Sealant-Low Density Multi Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06ACB1) (9) around the flanges of the handgrip support assemblies (1) and (2).
(10) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) (11) on the heads of the screws (4) and the bolts (3).
(11) Apply a layer of Coating_- Flexible Structure (Material No.04QAB2) (8) around the flanges of the handgrip support assemblies (1) and (2).
(12) Apply a layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing & Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ADB1) on the screws (4) and the bolts (3).
5. Close-up(1) If necessary, clean the mating surfaces between the components with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) (11) on the mating surfaces between the handgrip support assemblies (1) and (2) and the structure (7).
(3) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) (11) on the threads of the screws (4) and the bolts (3).
(4) Put the handgrip support assemblies (1) and (2) in position on the structure (7).
(5) Install the screws (4) and the bolts (3).
(6) TORQUE the screws (4) and the bolts (3) to between 4.80 and 3.70 m.N (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in )
.(7) Install the fitting (5) and the bolts (6) on the handgrip support assembly (1).
(8) TORQUE the bolts (6) to between 10.60 and 8.20 m.N (93.81 and 72.57 lbf.in )

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the door frame linings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-005) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-008).
(3) Close passenger/crew door 832( 842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the door frame linings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-005) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-008).
(3) Close passenger/crew door 832( 842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
