B. Get Access
(1) Remove the emergency light(s) from the applicable ceiling panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-11-000-001).
Subtask 25-23-41-010-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the emergency light(s) from the applicable ceiling panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-11-000-001).
B. Get Access
(1) Remove the emergency light(s) from the applicable ceiling panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-11-000-001).
(2) Remove the left and right doors of the overhead stowage-compartments (Ref. AMM TASK 25-24-41-000-002) below the related ceiling panel.
Subtask 25-23-41-010-052-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the emergency light(s) from the applicable ceiling panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-11-000-001).
(2) Remove the left and right doors of the overhead stowage-compartments (Ref. AMM TASK 25-24-41-000-002) below the related ceiling panel.
B. Get Access
(1) Remove the emergency light(s) from the applicable ceiling panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-11-000-001).
(2) Remove the adjacent ceiling panel of the forward utility area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-42-000-001).
(3) Remove the Cabin LED Unit (CLEDU) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-21-11-000-802).
(4) Remove the filler panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-25-11-000-001).
Subtask 25-23-41-865-053-A (1) Remove the emergency light(s) from the applicable ceiling panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-11-000-001).
(2) Remove the adjacent ceiling panel of the forward utility area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-42-000-001).
(3) Remove the Cabin LED Unit (CLEDU) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-21-11-000-802).
(4) Remove the filler panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-25-11-000-001).
C. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

A. Removal of the Ceiling Panel (4)
(2) Open the access doors (2) in the left and right overhead stowage compartments.
(3) Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) left and right at the access doors (2).
(4) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(5) Close the overhead stowage compartment doors.
(6) Open the two quick release fasteners (5) at the left side of the ceiling panel (4).
(7) Push the left side of the ceiling panel (4) up.
(8) Move the ceiling panel (4) to the left and out of the spring fasteners (3).
(9) Move the ceiling panel (4) at an angle with the right side down.
(10) Make sure the right side of the ceiling panel (4) is clear from the overhead stowage compartments.
(11) Remove the ceiling panel (4).
Subtask 25-23-41-020-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: The panel identification/location is found in (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00).
(1) Open the left and right overhead compartment doors below the ceiling panel. (2) Open the access doors (2) in the left and right overhead stowage compartments.
(3) Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) left and right at the access doors (2).
(4) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(5) Close the overhead stowage compartment doors.
(6) Open the two quick release fasteners (5) at the left side of the ceiling panel (4).
(7) Push the left side of the ceiling panel (4) up.
(8) Move the ceiling panel (4) to the left and out of the spring fasteners (3).
(9) Move the ceiling panel (4) at an angle with the right side down.
(10) Make sure the right side of the ceiling panel (4) is clear from the overhead stowage compartments.
(11) Remove the ceiling panel (4).
A. Removal of the Ceiling Panel
(a) Open the applicable door (1) on the right side of the aircraft (flight direction).
(b) Remove the retaining rings (3), the washers (4) and the pins (6).
(d) Carefully remove the door (1) from the compartment.
(2) Remove the ceiling panel (10):
(a) Open the access doors (9) and disconnect the electrical connectors (8).
(3) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(a) Open the two quick-release fasteners (11) at the left side (flight direction) of the ceiling panel (10).
(b) Push the left side of the ceiling panel (10) up.
(c) Move the ceiling panel (10) to the left and out of the spring fasteners (12).
(d) Move the ceiling panel (10) at an angle with the right side down.
(e) Make sure the right side of the ceiling panel (10) is clear from the overhead stowage-compartments.
(f) Carefully remove the ceiling panel (10).
Subtask 25-23-41-020-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: The panel identification/location is found in (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00).
(1) Remove the related overhead stowage-compartment door/s (referred to as door) (1): (a) Open the applicable door (1) on the right side of the aircraft (flight direction).
(b) Remove the retaining rings (3), the washers (4) and the pins (6).
NOTE: The damper (5) stays attached to the stowage-compartment.
(c) Hold the door (1) and remove the pins (7) from the hinges (2). (d) Carefully remove the door (1) from the compartment.
(2) Remove the ceiling panel (10):
(a) Open the access doors (9) and disconnect the electrical connectors (8).
(3) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(a) Open the two quick-release fasteners (11) at the left side (flight direction) of the ceiling panel (10).
(b) Push the left side of the ceiling panel (10) up.
(c) Move the ceiling panel (10) to the left and out of the spring fasteners (12).
(d) Move the ceiling panel (10) at an angle with the right side down.
(e) Make sure the right side of the ceiling panel (10) is clear from the overhead stowage-compartments.
(f) Carefully remove the ceiling panel (10).
A. Removal of the Ceiling Panel (4)
(2) Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) left and right at the access doors (2).
(3) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4) Open the two quick release fasteners (5) at the left side of the ceiling panel (4).
(5) Push the left side of the ceiling panel (4) up.
(6) Move the ceiling panel (4) to the left and out of the spring fasteners (3).
(7) Move the ceiling panel (4) at an angle with the right side down.
(8) Make sure the right side of the ceiling panel (4) is clear from the overhead stowage compartments.
(9) Remove the ceiling panel (4).
Subtask 25-23-41-020-050-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: The panel identification/location is found in (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00).
(1) Open the access doors (2) in the left and right overhead stowage compartments. (2) Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) left and right at the access doors (2).
(3) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4) Open the two quick release fasteners (5) at the left side of the ceiling panel (4).
(5) Push the left side of the ceiling panel (4) up.
(6) Move the ceiling panel (4) to the left and out of the spring fasteners (3).
(7) Move the ceiling panel (4) at an angle with the right side down.
(8) Make sure the right side of the ceiling panel (4) is clear from the overhead stowage compartments.
(9) Remove the ceiling panel (4).
A. Removal of the Ceiling Panel:
(2) Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) at the access doors (2).
(3) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4) Push the springs (6) down and pull out the drawers (5).
(5) Push the left side of the ceiling panel (4) up to release the pins (3)
(6) Move the ceiling panel (4) to the right and lift the pins (8) out of the brackets (9).
(7) Move the ceiling panel (4) at an angle with the left side down.
(8) Make sure that the left side of the ceiling panel (4) is clear of the overhead stowage compartments.
(9) Remove the ceiling panel (4).
Subtask 25-23-41-020-050-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: The panel identification/location is found in (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00).
(1) Open the access doors (2) in the left and right overhead stowage compartments. (2) Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) at the access doors (2).
(3) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4) Push the springs (6) down and pull out the drawers (5).
(5) Push the left side of the ceiling panel (4) up to release the pins (3)
(6) Move the ceiling panel (4) to the right and lift the pins (8) out of the brackets (9).
(7) Move the ceiling panel (4) at an angle with the left side down.
(8) Make sure that the left side of the ceiling panel (4) is clear of the overhead stowage compartments.
(9) Remove the ceiling panel (4).
A. Removal of the Ceiling Panel:
(2) Disconnect the electrical connectors (4).
(3) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.
(4) Push both sides of the the ceiling panel (1) up to release the spring loaded fastener (6).
(5) Push the left side of the ceiling panel (1) up to release the pins (3).
(6) Push the right side of the ceiling panel (1) up to release the pins (3).
(7) Move the ceiling panel (1) at an angle with the left side down.
(8) Make sure that the left side of the ceiling panel (1) is below the overhead stowage compartments.
(9) Remove the ceiling panel (1).
Subtask 25-23-41-020-050-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: You can find the panel identification/location in (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00).
(1) Open the access doors (5) in the left and right overhead stowage compartments. (2) Disconnect the electrical connectors (4).
(3) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.
(4) Push both sides of the the ceiling panel (1) up to release the spring loaded fastener (6).
(5) Push the left side of the ceiling panel (1) up to release the pins (3).
(6) Push the right side of the ceiling panel (1) up to release the pins (3).
(7) Move the ceiling panel (1) at an angle with the left side down.
(8) Make sure that the left side of the ceiling panel (1) is below the overhead stowage compartments.
(9) Remove the ceiling panel (1).
A. Removal of the Ceiling Panel
(2) Disconnect the electrical connectors (4).
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the ceiling panel (1):
(b) Push both sides of the ceiling panel (1) up to release the spring loaded fasteners (6).
(c) Push the left side of the ceiling panel (1) up to release the pins (3).
(d) Push the right side of the ceiling panel (1) up to release the pins (3).
(e) For ceiling panel 231CC:
1 Make sure that ceiling panel 231DC is removed.
2 Move ceiling panel 231CC rearward until the harness is free.
(f) Move the ceiling panel (1) with an angle and the left side down.
(g) Make sure that the left side of the ceiling panel (1) is below the overhead stowage compartments.
(h) Remove the ceiling panel (1).
Subtask 25-23-41-020-050-L ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: You can find the panel identification/location in (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00).
(1) Open the access doors (5) in the left and right overhead stowage compartments. (2) Disconnect the electrical connectors (4).
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the ceiling panel (1):
NOTE: In the area of ceiling panel 231CC a harness is installed. Therefore there is not sufficient space for the removal of ceiling panel 231CC.
(a) Ceiling panel 231DC has to be removed before the removal of ceiling panel 231CC.(b) Push both sides of the ceiling panel (1) up to release the spring loaded fasteners (6).
(c) Push the left side of the ceiling panel (1) up to release the pins (3).
(d) Push the right side of the ceiling panel (1) up to release the pins (3).
(e) For ceiling panel 231CC:
1 Make sure that ceiling panel 231DC is removed.
2 Move ceiling panel 231CC rearward until the harness is free.
(f) Move the ceiling panel (1) with an angle and the left side down.
(g) Make sure that the left side of the ceiling panel (1) is below the overhead stowage compartments.
(h) Remove the ceiling panel (1).
A. Removal of the Ceiling Panels
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Make sure that you remove the adjacent ceiling panels (3) before you remove the ceiling panels (1) and (4).
(3) For the ceiling panels (3):
(a) If the electrical connectors (10) are installed, remove the adjacent ceiling panels (3) first.
(b) Carefully release the latches (6) with the SCREWDRIVER - SMALL and lower the ceiling panels (3).
(c) Move the ceiling panels (3) to release the panel holders (12).
(d) Carefully tilt the ceiling panels (3) and remove them.
(e) Disconnect the electrical connectors (10).
(f) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) For the ceiling panels (1) and (4) and the lateral ceiling panels (2):
(a) Disconnect the electrical connectors (9) and (13).
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Carefully release the latches (6) and lower the ceiling panels (1) and (4).
(d) Carefully disengage the brackets (7) from the slide cases and remove the ceiling panels (1) and (4).
(e) Move the ceiling panels (1) and (4) away from the monuments.
(f) Remove the screws (17) and the washers (18).
(g) Carefully remove the brackets (16) and the panels (19).
(h) Remove the screws (15) and the washers (14).
(i) Carefully release the latches (6) and lower the lateral ceiling panels (2).
(j) Move the lateral ceiling panels (2) to release the brackets (11).
(k) Carefully tilt the lateral ceiling panels (2) and remove them.
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Make sure that you remove the adjacent ceiling panels (3) before you remove the ceiling panels (1) and (4).
(3) For the ceiling panels (3):
(a) If the electrical connectors (10) are installed, remove the adjacent ceiling panels (3) first.
(b) Carefully release the latches (6) with the SCREWDRIVER - SMALL and lower the ceiling panels (3).
(c) Move the ceiling panels (3) to release the panel holders (12).
(d) Carefully tilt the ceiling panels (3) and remove them.
(e) Disconnect the electrical connectors (10).
(f) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) For the ceiling panels (1) and (4) and the lateral ceiling panels (2):
(a) Disconnect the electrical connectors (9) and (13).
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Carefully release the latches (6) and lower the ceiling panels (1) and (4).
(d) Carefully disengage the brackets (7) from the slide cases and remove the ceiling panels (1) and (4).
(e) Move the ceiling panels (1) and (4) away from the monuments.
(f) Remove the screws (17) and the washers (18).
(g) Carefully remove the brackets (16) and the panels (19).
(h) Remove the screws (15) and the washers (14).
(i) Carefully release the latches (6) and lower the lateral ceiling panels (2).
(j) Move the lateral ceiling panels (2) to release the brackets (11).
(k) Carefully tilt the lateral ceiling panels (2) and remove them.
