A. Energize the ground service network (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

   (1) If the backrest(s) of the passenger seat(s) is (are) installed, fold it (them).
4. Procedure
Subtask 25-23-43-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of a 3-Frame Sidewall Panel
NOTE: The removal procedure is applicable for the LH and RH sidewall panels.
   (1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
   (2) With a SCREWDRIVER - SMALL push the clips in the holes of the covers (7) to release it.
   (3) Remove the covers (7) and the panes (6).
   (4) Remove the screws (5) and the washers (4) and (3).
   (5) Pull the lining strips (2) down and out of the sidewall panel (1) and the adjacent panels.
   (6) Lift the sidewall panel (1) to release the yo-yo rollers from the brackets and remove it.

B. Removal of a 2-Frame Sidewall-Panel attached with a Seal
NOTE: The removal procedure is applicable for the LH and RH sidewall-panels.
   (1) Record the location of the sidewall-panel(s) (1) you want to remove.
   (2) Remove the screws (4) and the washers (3).
   (3) Pull the lining strips (2) down and out from between the sidewall panel (1) and the adjacent panel.
   (4) Lift the sidewall-panel (1), release the yo-yo roller from the brackets and remove it.

C. Removal of a 3-Frame Sidewall End-Panel
NOTE: The removal procedure is applicable for the LH and RH sidewall panels.
   (1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
   (2) With a SCREWDRIVER - SMALL push the clips in the holes of the cover (7) to release it.
   (3) Remove the cover (7) and the pane (6).
   (4) Remove the screws (5) and the washers (4) and (3).
   (5) Remove the caps (9) and the screws (8).
   (6) Pull the lining strip (2) down and out of the sidewall panel (1) and the adjacent panel.
   (7) Lift the sidewall panel (1) to release the yo-yo roller from the brackets and remove it.

D. Removal a 2-Frame Filler Sidewall-Panel
NOTE: The removal procedure is applicable for the LH and RH sidewall panels.
   (1) Record the location of the sidewall-panel(s) (1) you want to remove.
   (2) Remove the caps (3) and the screws (4).
   (3) Pull the lining strip (2) down and out from between the sidewall-panel (1) and the adjacent panels.
   (4) Lift the sidewall-panel (1), release the yo-yo roller from the brackets and remove it.

E. Removal of a 3-Frame Sidewall Panel
NOTE: The removal procedure is applicable for the LH and RH sidewall panels.
   (1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
   (2) Pull the lining strips (3) down and out of the sidewall panel (1) and the adjacent panels.
   (3) Push the nose below the gap-covers (2) and pull the gap-covers (2) up to remove them.
CAUTION: DO NOT PUSH OR PULL THE PLASTIC PARTS WITH TOO MUCH FORCE. PUSH OR PULL THEM ONLY IN THE SPECIFIED DIRECTION. IF YOU PUSH OR PULL THEM IN THE INCORRECT DIRECTION OR WITH TOO MUCH FORCE, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE OR BREAK THE PLASTIC PARTS.
   (4) Remove the decor-ring (8):
     (a) Hold the decor-ring (8) on the left side with your fingers.
     (b) Twist the decor-ring (8) until the snap guide (upper left) is released and makes loud click.
     (c) Hold the decor-ring (8) on the right side with your fingers.
     (d) Twist the decor-ring (8) until the snap guide (upper right) is released and makes a loud click.
     (e) Pull the decor-ring (8) up and remove it.
   (5) With a SCREWDRIVER - SMALL push the clips in the holes of the covers (7) to release them.
   (6) Remove the covers (7).
   (7) Remove the screws (6) and the washers (5) and (4).
   (8) Lift the sidewall-panel (1) to release the yo-yo rollers from the brackets and remove it.

F. Removal of a 2-Frame Sidewall-Panel attached with a Seal

   (1) Record the location of the sidewall-panel(s) (1) you want to remove.
   (2) Pull the lining strips (2) down and out from between the sidewall panel (1) and the adjacent panels.
   (3) Push the nose below the gap-cover (5) and pull the gap-cover (5) up to remove it.
   (4) Remove the screws (4) and the washers (3).
   (5) Lift the sidewall-panel (1), release the yo-yo roller from the brackets and remove it.

   (4) Remove the decor-ring (8):
     (a) Hold the decor-ring (8) on the left side with your fingers.
     (b) Twist the decor-ring (8) until the snap guide (upper left) is released and makes a loud click.
     (c) Hold the decor-ring (8) on the right side with your fingers.
     (d) Twist the decor-ring (8) until the snap guide (upper right) is released and makes a loud click.
     (e) Pull the decor-ring (8) up and remove it.
   (5) With a SCREWDRIVER - SMALL push the clips in the holes of the cover (7) to release it.
   (6) Remove the cover (7).
   (7) Remove the screws (6) and the washers (5) and (4).
   (8) Remove the caps (10) and the screws (9).
   (9) Lift the sidewall panel (1) to release the yo-yo roller from the brackets and remove it.

H. Removal a 2-Frame Filler Sidewall-Panel
NOTE: The removal procedure is applicable for the LH and RH sidewall panels.
   (1) Record the location of the sidewall-panel(s) (1) you want to remove.
   (2) Pull the lining strip (2) down and out from between the sidewall-panel (1) and the adjacent panels.
   (3) Push the nose below the gap-cover (5) and pull the gap-cover (5) up to remove it.
   (4) Remove the caps (3) and the screws (4).
   (5) Lift the sidewall-panel (1), release the yo-yo roller from the brackets and remove it.

CAUTION: DO NOT PUSH OR PULL THE PLASTIC PARTS WITH TOO MUCH FORCE. PUSH OR PULL THEM ONLY IN THE SPECIFIED DIRECTION. IF YOU PUSH OR PULL THEM IN THE INCORRECT DIRECTION OR WITH TOO MUCH FORCE, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE OR BREAK THE PLASTIC PARTS.
I. Removal of the Decor-Ring from the Over Wing Emergency exits (OWE)
NOTE: The removal procedure is applicable for the LH and RH decor-rings.
   (1) Hold the decor-ring on the upper left side with your fingers.
   (2) Twist the decor-ring until the snap guide (upper left) is released.
   (3) Hold the decor-ring on the upper middle side with your fingers.
   (4) Twist the decor-ring until the snap guide (upper middle) is released. At the same time push the decor-ring a small distance up, to prevent the snap guide (upper left) to lock back to initial position.
   (5) Hold the decor-ring on the upper right side with your fingers.
   (6) Twist the decor-ring until the snap guide (upper right) is released.
   (7) Tilt the decor-ring inboard and at the same time pull it up and remove it.
