A. Removal of the Access Doors of the Space Flex Lavatory
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Remove the access door (1) as follows:
(a) Push the button (2) and open the access door (1).
(b) Remove the screw (7) and the washer (6).
(c) If the washers (5) and the spacer (3) are installed, remove them.
(d) Release the door stop (4).
(e) Remove the pins (8) and the access door (1).
(3) Remove the access door (10) as follows:
(a) Push the button (11) and open the access door (10).
(b) Remove the pins (9) and the access door (10).
(4) Remove the access doors (12) as follows:
(a) Release the latches (18) and open the access doors (12).
(b) If the supports (16) are installed, remove them:
1 Remove the screws (17) and the supports (16).
(c) If the supports (27) are installed, remove them as follows:
1 Remove the screws (28).
2 If the washers (29) are installed, remove them.
3 If the spacers (30) are installed, remove them.
4 Remove the supports (27).
(d) Remove the screws (14) and the hinges (13) from the covers (15) and the access doors (12).
(e) Remove the access doors (12).
(5) Remove the access doors (20) as follows:
(a) Release the latches (21) and open the access doors (20).
(b) If the supports (26) are installed, remove them:
1 Remove the screws (25) and the supports (26).
(c) If the supports (32) and (35) are installed, remove them:
1 Remove the screws (31), (33), (34), (36) and (37) and the supports (32) and (35).
(d) Remove the pins (19).
(e) Remove the access doors (20).
(6) Remove the access door (23) as follows:
(a) Release the receptacle (24) and open the access door (23).
(b) Remove the pin (22) and the access door (23).
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Remove the access door (1) as follows:
(a) Push the button (2) and open the access door (1).
(b) Remove the screw (7) and the washer (6).
(c) If the washers (5) and the spacer (3) are installed, remove them.
(d) Release the door stop (4).
(e) Remove the pins (8) and the access door (1).
(3) Remove the access door (10) as follows:
(a) Push the button (11) and open the access door (10).
(b) Remove the pins (9) and the access door (10).
(4) Remove the access doors (12) as follows:
(a) Release the latches (18) and open the access doors (12).
(b) If the supports (16) are installed, remove them:
1 Remove the screws (17) and the supports (16).
(c) If the supports (27) are installed, remove them as follows:
1 Remove the screws (28).
2 If the washers (29) are installed, remove them.
3 If the spacers (30) are installed, remove them.
4 Remove the supports (27).
(d) Remove the screws (14) and the hinges (13) from the covers (15) and the access doors (12).
(e) Remove the access doors (12).
(5) Remove the access doors (20) as follows:
(a) Release the latches (21) and open the access doors (20).
(b) If the supports (26) are installed, remove them:
1 Remove the screws (25) and the supports (26).
(c) If the supports (32) and (35) are installed, remove them:
1 Remove the screws (31), (33), (34), (36) and (37) and the supports (32) and (35).
(d) Remove the pins (19).
(e) Remove the access doors (20).
(6) Remove the access door (23) as follows:
(a) Release the receptacle (24) and open the access door (23).
(b) Remove the pin (22) and the access door (23).
