A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) For loudspeaker in the PSIU:

(2) For loudspeaker in the PSIU:
- Make sure that the applicable PSIU is open.
- Make sure that the circuit breaker panel 2001VU hangs on the detent hook.
- Make sure that the service cabinet door is open and where applicable the service cabinet is removed.
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) For the loudspeaker in the PSIU:
Subtask 23-73-51-865-077-A (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) For the loudspeaker in the PSIU:
- Make sure that the applicable PSIU is open.
- Make sure that the circuit breaker panel 2001VU hangs on the detent hook.
- Make sure that the service cabinet door is open and where applicable the service cabinet is removed.
- Make sure that the applicable air-extraction panel is open.

A. Installation of the loudspeaker
(1) Install the loudspeaker in the PSIU and in the forward entrance area
(a) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(b) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(c) Install the loudspeaker (2) in the PSIU (6) and make sure that the loudspeaker locks in position.
(d) Connect the electrical connections (1) to the loudspeaker electrical connectors (7).
(e) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(f) Install the section hose (4) with the 98A25208001000 PULLEY ASSY-SEALING to the mounting rail (5).
(a) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(b) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(c) Install the loudspeaker (2) with the screws (8) and the washers (9).
(d) Connect the electrical connections (1) to the loudspeaker electrical connectors (7).
(e) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(f) Install the section hose (4) with the 98A25208001000 PULLEY ASSY-SEALING to the mounting rail (5).
Subtask 23-73-51-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the loudspeaker in the PSIU and in the forward entrance area
(a) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(b) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(c) Install the loudspeaker (2) in the PSIU (6) and make sure that the loudspeaker locks in position.
(d) Connect the electrical connections (1) to the loudspeaker electrical connectors (7).
(e) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(f) Install the section hose (4) with the 98A25208001000 PULLEY ASSY-SEALING to the mounting rail (5).
NOTE: Make sure that the section hose is not expanded. Move the pulley assembly forward and rearward to the prevent this.
(2) Install the loudspeaker in the aft entrance area (a) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(b) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(c) Install the loudspeaker (2) with the screws (8) and the washers (9).
(d) Connect the electrical connections (1) to the loudspeaker electrical connectors (7).
(e) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(f) Install the section hose (4) with the 98A25208001000 PULLEY ASSY-SEALING to the mounting rail (5).
NOTE: Make sure that the section hose is not expanded. Move the pulley assembly forward and rearward to the prevent this.
A. Installation of the loudspeaker
(1) Install the loudspeaker in the PSIU and in the forward/aft entrance area
Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(a) Install the loudspeaker (4) on the pins (7) of the PSIU (3).
(c) Connect the electrical connectors (5) to the loudspeaker (4).
(d) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(e) Install the section hose (1) with the 98A25208001000 PULLEY ASSY-SEALING to the mounting rail (2).
Subtask 23-73-51-420-064-A (1) Install the loudspeaker in the PSIU and in the forward/aft entrance area
Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(a) Install the loudspeaker (4) on the pins (7) of the PSIU (3).
CAUTION:
REFER TO THE MATCH MARKS MADE DURING THE REMOVAL WHEN YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL WIRES.
INCORRECT CONNECTION OF THE WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(b) Make sure that the spring clips (6) lock in position with a click. (c) Connect the electrical connectors (5) to the loudspeaker (4).
(d) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(e) Install the section hose (1) with the 98A25208001000 PULLEY ASSY-SEALING to the mounting rail (2).
NOTE: Make sure that the section hose is not expanded. Move the pulley assembly forward and rearward to the prevent this.
B. Installation of the loudspeaker
(1) Install the loudspeaker in the circuit breaker panel 2001VU
(a) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(b) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(c) Install the loudspeaker (6) with the screws (7) and the washers (8).
(d) Connect the electrical connections (1) to the electrical connectors (2).
(e) Install the circuit breaker panel 2001VU (4) with the quick release fasteners (3).
Subtask 23-73-51-420-065-B (1) Install the loudspeaker in the circuit breaker panel 2001VU
(a) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(b) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(c) Install the loudspeaker (6) with the screws (7) and the washers (8).
(d) Connect the electrical connections (1) to the electrical connectors (2).
(e) Install the circuit breaker panel 2001VU (4) with the quick release fasteners (3).
C. Installation of the loudspeaker
(1) Install the lavatory loudspeaker
(a) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(b) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(c) Install the loudspeaker (6) on the pins (7).
(d) Make sure that the loudspeaker (6) locks in position.
(e) Connect the electrical connectors (5) to the loudspeaker (6).
(g) Put the service cabinet (4) in position and install the screws (2) and the washers (3).
(h) Install the service cabinet door (1) with the screws (8).
(i) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(j) Install the service box (9).
(k) Close the service cabinet door (1).
Subtask 23-73-51-420-067-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the lavatory loudspeaker
(a) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(b) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(c) Install the loudspeaker (6) on the pins (7).
(d) Make sure that the loudspeaker (6) locks in position.
(e) Connect the electrical connectors (5) to the loudspeaker (6).
NOTE: Make sure that you connect the electrical connector with the + mark to the loudspeaker connection with the red mark.
(f) Lift the service cabinet (4), hold it, connect the flexible hose (11) and tighten the screw (10). (g) Put the service cabinet (4) in position and install the screws (2) and the washers (3).
(h) Install the service cabinet door (1) with the screws (8).
(i) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(j) Install the service box (9).
(k) Close the service cabinet door (1).
D. Installation of the loudspeaker
(1) Install the loudspeaker in the space flex lavatory
(a) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(b) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(c) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(d) Put the loudspeaker (6) in position on the grill (7) and install the washers (4) and screws (3).
(e) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(g) Close the air-extraction panel (1).
Subtask 23-73-51-865-051-A (1) Install the loudspeaker in the space flex lavatory
(a) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(b) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(c) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(d) Put the loudspeaker (6) in position on the grill (7) and install the washers (4) and screws (3).
(e) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(f) Connect the electrical connectors (5) to the loudspeaker (6). (g) Close the air-extraction panel (1).
E. Remove the safety clips and tags and close these circuit breakers in this sequence:

F. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
(2) Do the BITE test of the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-005).
Subtask 23-73-51-869-062-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
(2) Do the BITE test of the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-005).
F. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
(2) Do the Interface and Power-Up test of the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-005).
Subtask 23-73-51-710-059-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized
