(2) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(3) Make sure that the potable water system is drained (Ref. AMM TASK 12-24-38-680-001).

(b) Make sure that the wall-mounted Cabin Attendant Seat(s) (CAS) is (are) removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-41-000-001).
(c) Make sure that the curtain(s) and the curtain rail(s) are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-003).
(d) Make sure that these panels are removed:
1 Applicable ceiling panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
2 Applicable cove light panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-48-000-001).
3 Applicable upper sidewall panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-43-000-001).
4 Applicable lower sidewall panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-000-001).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) If necessary, examine the Non-Textile Floor covering (NTF).
(a) If the condition of the NTF is not satisfactory, repair it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-20-00-350-003).
(b) If you cannot repair the NTF, replace it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-42-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-42-400-001).
Subtask 25-43-41-865-066-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If necessary, examine the Non-Textile Floor covering (NTF).
(a) If the condition of the NTF is not satisfactory, repair it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-20-00-350-003).
(b) If you cannot repair the NTF, replace it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-42-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-42-400-001).

D. Preparation for Installation
(1) If necessary, remove the SAFETY BARRIER(S).
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the sealant from the floor panel and the attached components with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(4) Clean the area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(5) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(6) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(7) If necessary, install the new placards:
(8) Prepare the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
4. Procedure(1) If necessary, remove the SAFETY BARRIER(S).
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the sealant from the floor panel and the attached components with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(4) Clean the area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(5) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(6) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(7) If necessary, install the new placards:
(8) Prepare the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
Subtask 25-43-41-210-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
(1) If necessary, remove the safety barrier(s).
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the remaining sealant from the floor panel and the attached components with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(4) Clean the area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(5) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(6) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(7) Make sure that the placards of the retained/new components are in the correct position and in a good condition.
(8) If necessary, install the new placards:
(9) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
Subtask 25-43-41-420-075-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If necessary, remove the safety barrier(s).
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the remaining sealant from the floor panel and the attached components with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(4) Clean the area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(5) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(6) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(7) Make sure that the placards of the retained/new components are in the correct position and in a good condition.
(8) If necessary, install the new placards:
(9) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
B. Lavatory Assembly

Subtask 25-43-41-420-075-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
WHEN YOU MOVE A HEAVY COMPONENT, DO NOT PUSH IT ALONG THE CABIN FLOOR OR LET IT RUB AGAINST THE FLOOR. IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CABIN FLOOR AND/OR THE COMPONENT.
(1) For the assembly of the lavatory refer to the manufacturer's Component Maintenance Manual B. Assembly of the Lavatory

Subtask 25-43-41-420-076-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
YOU MUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU CAN HOLD THE COMPONENT BEFORE YOU REMOVE/INSTALL IT. THE COMPONENT IS HEAVY. IF IT FALLS, IT CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) For the assembly of the lavatory, C. Installation of the Lower Attachments
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Put the bushes (7) and new AIPC 25-43-55-50-090 PACKINGS (8) in position at the attachment point locations.
(3) Put the lavatory assembly in position.
(4) Put the eccentric bushes (5) and (4) and the washers (3) and (2) in position.
(5) If necessary, turn the eccentric bushes (5) and (4) until is possible to install the bolts (1).
(6) Install the bolts (1) and tighten them.
(7) Install the covers (6).
Subtask 25-43-41-420-076-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Put the bushes (7) and new AIPC 25-43-55-50-090 PACKINGS (8) in position at the attachment point locations.

(4) Put the eccentric bushes (5) and (4) and the washers (3) and (2) in position.
(5) If necessary, turn the eccentric bushes (5) and (4) until is possible to install the bolts (1).
(6) Install the bolts (1) and tighten them.
(7) Install the covers (6).
C. Installation of the Lower Attachments
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Put the bushes (7) and the new AIPC 25-43-55-50-090 PACKINGS (8) in position at the attachment point locations.
(4) Put the eccentric bushes (5) and (4) and the washers (3) and (2) in position.
(5) If necessary, turn the eccentric bushes (5) and (4) until it is possible to install the bolts (1).
(6) Install the bolts (1).
(7) TORQUE the bolts (1) to between 1.06 and 0.82 m.daN (93.81 and 72.57 lbf.in )

(8) Install the covers (6).
Subtask 25-43-41-420-076-R ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Put the bushes (7) and the new AIPC 25-43-55-50-090 PACKINGS (8) in position at the attachment point locations.

(8) If you removed the washers (2), install them.
(9) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) to the threads of the screws (1).
(10) Install the screws (1).
(11) TORQUE the screws (1) to between 1.06 and 0.82 m.daN (93.81 and 72.57 lbf.in )
(12) Make sure that the clearance between the flange of the eccentric bushings (5) and the fittings is 0.5 mm (0.0197 in.) minimum.
(13) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) to the heads of the screws (1).
(14) Put the fitting (9) in position and install the screws (10).
(15) Tighten the screws (10).
(16) Put the kickstrip (11) in position and install the screws (12).
(17) Tighten the screws (12).
Subtask 25-43-41-420-090-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Put the new AIPC 25-43-55-50-090 PACKINGS (8) and the bushes (7) in position.
CAUTION:

(10) Install the screws (1).

(12) Make sure that the clearance between the flange of the eccentric bushings (5) and the fittings is 0.5 mm (0.0197 in.) minimum.

D. Installation of the Door Sill
(1) If the spacer (3) is removed, install it.
(2) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area Chromate Free - (Material No.06LCB1) to the threads of the screws (1).
(3) Put the door sill (2) in position and install the screws (1).
(4) TORQUE the screws (1) to between 0.40 and 0.32 m.daN (35.40 and 28.32 lbf.in )
.
(5) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to the floor pan in the inner part of the lavatory around the door sill (2).
(6) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the door sill (2) and the heads of the screws (1).
Subtask 25-43-41-420-077-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If the spacer (3) is removed, install it.
(2) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area Chromate Free - (Material No.06LCB1) to the threads of the screws (1).
(3) Put the door sill (2) in position and install the screws (1).
(4) TORQUE the screws (1) to between 0.40 and 0.32 m.daN (35.40 and 28.32 lbf.in )
. (5) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to the floor pan in the inner part of the lavatory around the door sill (2).
(6) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the door sill (2) and the heads of the screws (1).
E. Installation of the Upper Attachment
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Put the tie-rod (3) in position and install the quick-release pin (2).
(a) If necessary, adjust the tie-rod (3) as follows:
1 Cut and discard the lockwire and loosen the locknuts (1).
2 Turn the tie-rod (3) until you can install the quick release pin (2).
3 Tighten each locknut (1) and safety them with stainless steel lockwire14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
(b) Make sure that the tie-rod ends are safetied.
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 25-43-41-420-077-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Put the tie-rod (3) in position and install the quick-release pin (2).
(a) If necessary, adjust the tie-rod (3) as follows:

2 Turn the tie-rod (3) until you can install the quick release pin (2).
3 Tighten each locknut (1) and safety them with stainless steel lockwire

E. Installation of the Upper Attachments
(1) Put the tie-rods (3) and (7) in position on the aircraft structure and install the quick-release pins (4) and (6).
2 Loosen the locknuts (2) and (8).
3 Turn the tie-rods (3) and (7) clockwise or counterclockwise until you can install the quick-release pins (5) and (9).
4 Tighten the locknuts (2) and (8) and safety them with14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - (Ref. AMM TASK 20-11-11-911-001).
(2) Hold the tie-rods (3) and (7) in position on the lavatory structure and install the quick-release pins (5) and (9).
(3) Make sure that the tie-rod ends (1) and (10) are safetied.
Subtask 25-43-41-930-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the tie-rods (3) and (7) in position on the aircraft structure and install the quick-release pins (4) and (6).
WARNING:
USE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(a) If necessary, adjust the tie-rods (3) and (7) as follows: NOTE: The tie-rod is adjustable in the range of +/- 12.7 mm (0.5000 in.).
1 Cut and discard the lockwire. 2 Loosen the locknuts (2) and (8).
3 Turn the tie-rods (3) and (7) clockwise or counterclockwise until you can install the quick-release pins (5) and (9).
4 Tighten the locknuts (2) and (8) and safety them with
(2) Hold the tie-rods (3) and (7) in position on the lavatory structure and install the quick-release pins (5) and (9).
(3) Make sure that the tie-rod ends (1) and (10) are safetied.
F. Markings on the Ventilation Connections, the Potable Water Connection and the Waste-Water Drain Connection
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
Subtask 25-43-41-420-078-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
G. Installation of the Water Connections
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the potable water hose (14) in position on the tube (15) and tighten the nut (16).
(c) Make sure that the potable water hose (14) is not twisted.
(d) Put the bonding straps (4) and the washers (3) in position and install the bolts (1) and the nuts (2). Do the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(e) Tighten the nuts (2).
(2) Connect the waste-water drain connection as follows:
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the clamp (12) in position on the drain tube (13).
(c) Connect the drain tube (13) to the pipe (11).
(d) Move the clamp (12) on the overlap area and tighten it.
(3) Connect the vacuum drain connection as follows:
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the sleeve (7) in position on the vacuum waste line (5).
(c) Apply Mineral Oil base Grease-General Purpose Medium Temp. - (Material No.03FBB1) to new AIPC 38-31-04-02-040 O-RING (6) and AIPC 38-31-04-02-040 O-RING (9).
(d) Put the O-rings (6) and (9) in position on the vacuum waste line (5) and the vacuum waste tube (10).
(e) Put the vacuum waste tube (10) in position.
(f) Move the sleeve (7) over the O-rings (6) and (9) and install the clamp (8).
(g) Tighten the clamp (8).

(1) Connect the potable water connection as follows: (a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the potable water hose (14) in position on the tube (15) and tighten the nut (16).
(c) Make sure that the potable water hose (14) is not twisted.
(d) Put the bonding straps (4) and the washers (3) in position and install the bolts (1) and the nuts (2). Do the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(e) Tighten the nuts (2).
(2) Connect the waste-water drain connection as follows:
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the clamp (12) in position on the drain tube (13).
(c) Connect the drain tube (13) to the pipe (11).
(d) Move the clamp (12) on the overlap area and tighten it.

(e) Put the vacuum waste tube (10) in position.
(f) Move the sleeve (7) over the O-rings (6) and (9) and install the clamp (8).
(g) Tighten the clamp (8).
G. Installation of the Water Connections
(b) Put the potable water hose (10) in position and connect the nut (12) to the end fitting of the tube (11).
(c) Make sure that the potable water hose (10) is not twisted.
(d) TORQUE the nut (12) to between 5.90 and 5.40 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
.
(2) Connect the waste-water drain connection as follows:
(b) Put the clamp (8) in position on the waste-water drain hose (7).
(c) Connect the waste-water drain hose (7) to the waste-water drain tube (9).
(d) Move the waste-water drain hose (7) along the waste-water drain tube (9) and measure dimension A. Dimension A must be 25 -5 mm or +5 mm (0.9843 -0.1969 in. or +0.1969 in.).
(e) Move the clamp (8) along the waste-water drain hose (7) and measure dimension B. Dimension B must be 5 mm (0.1969 in.) from the end of the waste-water drain hose (7).
(f) Tighten the clamp (8).
(3) Connect the vacuum waste connection as follows:
(b) Put the sleeves (16) in position on the vacuum waste hose (6).
(c) Apply Mineral Oil base Grease-- Vaseline or Petrolatum - (Material No.03FAB1) to the new AIPC 38-31-84-02-030 O-RINGS (14).
(d) Put the O-rings (14) in position on the vacuum waste hose (6) and the vacuum waste tubes (13) and (17).
(e) Put the vacuum waste hose (6) in position on the vacuum waste tubes (13) and (17).
(f) Move the sleeves (16) to the center position between the vacuum waste hose (6) and the vacuum waste tubes (13) and (17).
(g) Install the clamps (15).
(4) Connect the bonding straps (3) as follows:
(a) Release the bonding straps (3) from the lavatory structure.
(b) Put the bonding straps (3) in position, then install the washers (2) and the screws (1).
(c) If the washers (4) and the nuts (5) are removed, install them.
(d) Tighten the nuts (5).
(e) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
Subtask 25-43-41-420-078-O ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:

(c) Connect the waste-water drain hose (7) to the waste-water drain tube (9).
(d) Move the waste-water drain hose (7) along the waste-water drain tube (9) and measure dimension A. Dimension A must be 25 -5 mm or +5 mm (0.9843 -0.1969 in. or +0.1969 in.).
(e) Move the clamp (8) along the waste-water drain hose (7) and measure dimension B. Dimension B must be 5 mm (0.1969 in.) from the end of the waste-water drain hose (7).
(f) Tighten the clamp (8).
(3) Connect the vacuum waste connection as follows:

(c) Apply Mineral Oil base Grease-- Vaseline or Petrolatum - (Material No.03FAB1) to the new AIPC 38-31-84-02-030 O-RINGS (14).
(d) Put the O-rings (14) in position on the vacuum waste hose (6) and the vacuum waste tubes (13) and (17).
(e) Put the vacuum waste hose (6) in position on the vacuum waste tubes (13) and (17).
(f) Move the sleeves (16) to the center position between the vacuum waste hose (6) and the vacuum waste tubes (13) and (17).
(g) Install the clamps (15).
(4) Connect the bonding straps (3) as follows:
(a) Release the bonding straps (3) from the lavatory structure.
(b) Put the bonding straps (3) in position, then install the washers (2) and the screws (1).
(c) If the washers (4) and the nuts (5) are removed, install them.
(d) Tighten the nuts (5).
(e) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
G. Installation of the Water Connections
(b) Put the potable water hose (14) in position and connect the nut (16) to the end fitting of the tube (15).
(c) Make sure that the potable water hose (14) is not twisted.
(d) TORQUE the nut (16) to between 5.90 and 5.40 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )

(f) Move the sleeve (7) to the center position between the vacuum waste hose (5) and the vacuum waste tube (10).
(g) Install the clamp (8)
(4) Connect the bonding straps (4) as follows:
(a) Release the bonding straps (4) from the lavatory structure.
(b) Connect the bonding straps (4) and install the washers (3), the bolts (1) and the nuts (2). Do the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(c) Tighten the nuts (2).

(d) Put the O-rings (6) and (9) in position on the vacuum waste hose (5) and the vacuum waste tube (10).
(e) Put the vacuum waste hose (5) in position on the vacuum waste tube (10).
(f) Move the sleeve (7) to the center position between the vacuum waste hose (5) and the vacuum waste tube (10).
(g) Install the clamp (8)
(4) Connect the bonding straps (4) as follows:
(a) Release the bonding straps (4) from the lavatory structure.
(b) Connect the bonding straps (4) and install the washers (3), the bolts (1) and the nuts (2). Do the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(c) Tighten the nuts (2).
H. Installation of the Air Connections
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(3) Make sure that the line ends are clean and clear.

(5) Tighten the clamp (2).
(6) Put the clamp (5) in position and connect the ventilation hose (4) to the tube (6).

Subtask 25-43-41-420-079-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.

(c) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(d) Make sure that the line ends are clean and clear.
(e) Put the clamp (2) in position on the air-extraction hose (1).
(f) Connect the air-extraction hose (1) to the tube (3).
(g) Move the air-extraction hose (1) along the tube (3) and measure dimension B. Dimension B must be 25 -5 mm or +5 mm (0.9843 -0.1969 in. or +0.1969 in.).
(h) Move the clamp (2) along the air-extraction hose (1) and measure dimension A. Dimension A must be 5 mm (0.1969 in.) from the end of the air-extraction hose (1).
(i) Tighten the clamp (2).
(2) Connect the ventilation hose (4) as follows:
(a) If the tube (6) is safetied to the lavatory structure, release it.
(b) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(c) Make sure that the line ends are clean and clear.
(d) Put the clamp (5) in position on the ventilation hose (4).
(e) Connect the ventilation hose (4) to the tube (6).
(f) Move the ventilation hose (4) along the tube (6) and measure dimension B. Dimension B must be 25 -5 mm or +5 mm (0.9843 -0.1969 in. or +0.1969 in.).
(g) Move the clamp (5) along the ventilation hose (4) and measure dimension A. Dimension A must be 5 mm (0.1969 in.) from the end of the ventilation hose (4).
(h) Tighten the clamp (5).

I. Installation of the Electrical Connections
(1) Release electrical connectors 7195VC-A (1) and 7197VC-A (2) from the aircraft structure.
(2) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Connect the electrical connectors (1) and (2).
(5) Put the electrical harnesses (3) in position and safety them with the new TIE WRAP (4).
Subtask 25-43-41-410-077-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Release electrical connectors 7195VC-A (1) and 7197VC-A (2) from the aircraft structure.
(2) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Connect the electrical connectors (1) and (2).
(5) Put the electrical harnesses (3) in position and safety them with the new TIE WRAP (4).
J. Installation of the Miscellaneous Lavatory Equipment
(1) In the lavatory:
(a) Install the toilet assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-41-400-001).
(b) Do not install the toilet shroud at this time.
(2) Install the lavatory door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-19-400-001).
(3) Install emergency oxygen container [31WR] (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-41-400-001).

Q. Installation of the Pelmet
(1) Put the pelmet (4) in position and tighten the screws (5).

(4) Tighten the screw (1).
(5) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
5. Close-up(1) Put the pelmet (4) in position and tighten the screws (5).
(2) Release the bonding strap (3) from the top of the lavatory.
(3) Connect the bonding strap (3), then install the washer (2) and the screw (1).
(4) Tighten the screw (1).
(5) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
