C. Get Access
   (1) Remove all of the equipment from the stowage compartment of the seat.
4. Procedure
Subtask 25-22-42-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Free-Standing Seat Assembly
   (1) Pull the end of the synthetic cord to loosen the sealant.
   (2) Open the access flap of the free-standing seat assembly (1).
   (3) Disconnect the electrical connector (6).
   (4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (5) Remove the bolts (2), the washers (3) and the free-standing seat assembly (1).
   (6) Remove and discard the packings (4).
   (7) If necessary, remove the bushes (5).
   (8) With the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC, remove the sealant.
Subtask 25-22-42-020-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Seat Assembly (Hard Point mounted)
   (1) Open the access flap (1) of the seat assembly (2).
   (2) Disconnect the electrical connection:
     (a) Release the VELCRO strips and remove the cover (7).
     (b) Disconnect the electrical connector (8).
     (c) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.
   (3) Remove the seat assembly:
   (4) Remove the bolts (5), the washers (4) and the seat assembly (2).
   (5) If necessary remove the seals:
NOTE: We recommend that you not remove the seal assembly if you remove the seat for a short time.
If you remove the seal assembly, a new GOODRICH Hard Point Installation-Kit is necessary for the installation procedure.
     (a) Remove and discard the O-rings (3).
     (b) Carefully release the seals (9) from the floor with a WEDGE - WOODEN and remove the seal carriers (6).
     (c) If necessary remove the bushes (10) and the seals (11).

B. Removal of the Seat Assembly (Adapter Plate mounted)
   (1) Get access:
     (a) Release the VELCRO strips and remove the container (8).
   (2) Disconnect the electrical connection:
     (a) Release the VELCRO strips and remove the cover (3).
     (b) Disconnect the electrical connector (4).
     (c) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.
   (3) Remove the seat assembly:
     (a) Remove the bolts (5), (6) and (7) and the washers (9) and (10).
     (b) Close the access flap (1) and remove the seat assembly (2).
   (4) If necessary remove the seals:
NOTE: We recommend that you not remove the seal assembly if you remove the seat for a short time.
If you remove the seal assembly, a new GOODRICH Adapter Installation-Kit is necessary for the installation procedure.
     (a) Carefully release the seals (13) and (16) from the floor with a WEDGE - WOODEN and remove the seal carrier/stop fittings (12) and the seal carrier (15).
     (b) Record the position of the track fittings (14) for the installation procedure.
     (c) Remove the track fittings (14), the bushes (17) and the seals (18).
