TASK 05-51-14-200-802-A
Inspection of the Aircraft after a Hail Strike in Flight

WARNING: PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
  • THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
  • THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
  • THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
  • COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
MOVEMENT OF COMPONENTS CAN KILL OR CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE PROBES ON THE GROUND. THE PROBES CAN STAY HOT FOR A LONG TIME AND WILL BURN YOU.
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE AND THE ADJACENT COMPONENTS AFTER ENGINE SHUTDOWN. THE ENGINE, THE ENGINE OIL AND THE ADJACENT COMPONENTS CAN STAY HOT FOR A LONG TIME. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, INJURY CAN OCCUR.
WARNING: BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR NEAR THE ENGINES, PUT A WARNING NOTICE IN THE COCKPIT. THIS WARNING NOTICE MUST TELL PERSONS NOT TO START THE ENGINES DURING THE PROCEDURE. IF THE ENGINES START WHILE YOU ARE NEAR THEM, THE SUCTION CAN PULL YOU INTO OR AGAINST THE AIR INTAKE. THIS CAN KILL YOU OR CAUSE INJURY TO YOU.
CAUTION: BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON AN EXTERNAL SURFACE OF THE AIRCRAFT, MAKE SURE THAT THIS SURFACE HAS A CORRECT PROTECTION. IF THE PROTECTION IS NOT CORRECT, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE.
