A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
   (2) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
   (3) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

C. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) in position below the applicable sharklet, zone 534(634).
4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Navigation-Light Glazing Panel
   (1) Remove the sealant from the edge of the navigation-light glazing panel (2) and the aircraft structure with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
   (2) Remove the screws (1).
   (3) To remove the navigation-light glazing panel (2), do the steps that follow:
     (a) Carefully remove the navigation-light glazing panel (2) to get access to the connector (3).
     (b) Disconnect the connector (3).
     (c) Fully remove the navigation-light glazing panel (2).
   (4) Make sure that you do not remove the form-in place seal.
   (5) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.

A. Removal of the Navigation-Light Glazing Panel
   (1) Remove the navigation-light glazing panel (2):
     (a) Use the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC to remove the sealant from the edge of the navigation-light glazing panel (2) and the aircraft structure.
     (b) Remove the screws (1).
     (c) To remove the navigation-light glazing panel (2), do the steps that follow:
       1 Carefully remove the navigation-light glazing panel (2) to get access to the connector (3).
       2 Disconnect the connector (3).
       3 Fully remove the navigation-light glazing panel (2).
     (d) Make sure that you do not remove the form-in place seal.
     (e) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (2) If necessary, remove the navigation-light glazing assembly (5):
     (a) Use the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC to remove the sealant from the edge of the navigation-light glazing assembly (5) and the navigation-light glazing panel (2).
     (b) Remove the screws (4).
     (c) Remove the navigation-light glazing assembly (5).
