MOVEMENT OF COMPONENTS CAN KILL OR CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE WHEEL CHOCKS ARE IN POSITION. MOVEMENT OF THE AIRCRAFT CAN BE DANGEROUS.

A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
   (2) Make sure that there is a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate:
  • the landing gear
  • the landing gear doors.
   (3) Make sure that the wheel chocks are correctly installed.

A. Removal of the Safety Devices from the Landing Gears
   (1) Removal of the GROUND LOCK SLEEVE from the MLG:
     (a) Remove the pin from the GROUND LOCK SLEEVE.
     (b) Remove the 460005833 SLEEVE-GROUND LOCK or the 460007280 SLEEVE-GROUND LOCK or the DRT68031 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK or the DRT68923 SLEEVE-GROUND LOCK from the lock stay of the MLG.
   (2) Removal of the NLG GROUND LOCK PIN:
     (a) Remove the D23080000 PIN-GROUND LOCK,NLG or the MZ23080000 PIN-LOCKING from the lock stay of the NLG.

A. Removal of Equipment
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Remove the safety barriers.
   (3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
