MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interface and the adjacent area with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

B. Installation of the Static Discharger
(1) Install the static discharger (1) in the static discharger retainer (3).
(2) TORQUE the grub screw (2) to between 0.21 and 0.19 m.daN (18.58 and 16.81 lbf.in )

. C. Test
(1) Do a resistance test between the static discharger (1) and the static discharger retainer (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-61-00-200-001).
5. Close-up(1) Do a resistance test between the static discharger (1) and the static discharger retainer (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-61-00-200-001).

A. Close Access
(1) Remove the access platform(s).
