Installation of the Safety Devices on the Landing Gear Doors

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE WHEEL CHOCKS ARE IN POSITION. MOVEMENT OF THE AIRCRAFT CAN BE DANGEROUS.

3. Job Set-up
Subtask 32-00-00-860-052-A
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Open the applicable MLG door(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
     (a) Make sure that the piston rod of the MLG door actuating cylinder is clean.
   (2) Open the NLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-010-001).
4. Procedure
Subtask 32-00-00-481-051-A
A. Installation of the Safety Devices on the Landing Gear Doors
   (1) Install the safety devices on the MLG doors as follows:
     (a) Remove the pins (1) and open the DAH602734 SLEEVE-GROUND LOCK460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK.
     (b) Make sure that the DAH602734 SLEEVE-GROUND LOCK460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is in clean and correct condition.
     (c) Put the DAH602734 SLEEVE-GROUND LOCK460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK in position on the piston rod of each of the MLG door actuating cylinders.
     (d) Close the DAH602734 SLEEVE-GROUND LOCK460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK and install the pins (1) from the top.
     (e) Make sure that there is a clear view of the red warning flag.
   (2) Install the safety devices on the NLG doors as follows:
     (a) Make sure that the holes in the NLG doors and the hinges are aligned.
     (b) Make sure that each 98D32203502000 SAFETY PIN - NLG DOOR is in clean and correct condition.
     (c) Install the 98D32203502000 SAFETY PIN - NLG DOOR with the handle in horizontal position, through the holes in each NLG door and hinge. Make sure that the 98D32203502000 SAFETY PIN - NLG DOOR is fully engaged.
     (d) Make sure that there is a clear view of the red warning flag.
5. Close-up

A. Removal of Equipment
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
