WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED. A PRESSURIZED SYSTEM CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS WHEN THEY DO WORK ON IT.
(2) Make sure that the potable water system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002). (3) Make sure that the potable water system is drained (Ref. AMM TASK 12-24-38-680-001).
(4) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in position to tell persons not to do the servicing of the potable water system.
(5) Make sure that the free-standing Cabin Attendant Seat (CAS) is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-42-000-001).
(6) Make sure that the curtain(s) and the curtain rail(s) are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-003).
(7) If necessary, remove the passenger seat(s) adjacent to the lavatory (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that ceiling panel 261BC and the trim panel in the aft utility area are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-42-000-002).
(2) Make sure that ceiling panel 251JC is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(3) Make sure that cove light panel 251CX is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-48-000-001).
(4) Make sure that upper sidewall panel 251BX is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-43-000-001).
(5) Make sure that lower sidewall panel 251AX is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-000-001).

(a) Make sure that the toilet shroud is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-22-000-001).
(b) Make sure that the toilet assembly is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-41-000-001).
(c) If necessary, remove the related waste-water pipe heaters and insulation (Ref. AMM TASK 30-71-53-000-003).
(d) If necessary, remove the related potable-water pipe heaters and insulation (Ref. AMM TASK 30-73-53-000-001).
(4) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(5) In the aft cargo compartment:
(a) Make sure that partition 161DW is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).
(b) Make sure that sidewall panel 161CW is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-003).

H. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) If necessary, examine the Non-Textile Floor covering (NTF) as follows:
(a) If the condition of the NTF is not satisfactory, repair it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-20-00-350-003).
(b) If you cannot repair the NTF, replace it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-42-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-42-400-001).
Subtask 25-43-41-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If necessary, examine the Non-Textile Floor covering (NTF) as follows:
(a) If the condition of the NTF is not satisfactory, repair it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-20-00-350-003).
(b) If you cannot repair the NTF, replace it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-42-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-42-400-001).

J. Preparation for Installation
(1) If necessary, remove the SAFETY BARRIER(S).
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the sealant from the floor panel and the attached components with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(4) Clean the area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(5) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(6) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(7) Make sure that the placards of the retained/new components are in the correct position and in good condition.
(a) If necessary, install the new placards:
(8) Prepare the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
4. Procedure(1) If necessary, remove the SAFETY BARRIER(S).
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the sealant from the floor panel and the attached components with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(4) Clean the area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(5) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(6) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

(5) Put the door sill (6) in position and install the screws (5).

(7) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) to the floor pan and the floor panel at the lavatory door opening.
(8) Cut the rubber strip (4) to length and put it in position.
(9) Put the rear partition panel (1) in position and install the washers (2) and the screws (3).
(10) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(11) Put the floor pan (7) in position and install the washers (8) and the screws (9).
(12) Put the front-shroud panel (10) in position and install the washers (11) and the screws (12).
(14) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(15) Put the floor panel (13) in position and install the screws (22), the washers (14) and the screws (15).
(16) TORQUE the screws (22) to between 0.46 and 0.38 m.daN (40.71 and 33.63 lbf.in )

(19) Fill the floor panel joints with Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) .
(20) When the sealant is dry, cut the Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - Sound damping - (Material No.05RAC1) to length, and put it on the floor panel joints.

(17) Cut the new SYNTHETIC FIBRE CORD (NYLON) 2.5MM DIA to length and put the cord in the floor panel joints. NOTE: Cut the synthetic fiber cord longer than the necessary length to make an overlap of approximately 200 mm (8.0 in.) at each end.
(18) After application of the sealant, turn the ends back to make a loop and press the loop into the sealant. This helps the next removal procedure. (19) Fill the floor panel joints with Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) .
(20) When the sealant is dry, cut the Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - Sound damping - (Material No.05RAC1) to length, and put it on the floor panel joints.

(1) Put the lavatory assemblies in the center of the aft utility area.
(2) Put the forward side wall (14) and rear wall (11) in position and install the washers (13) and the screws (12).
(3) Install the washers (8), the screws (9) and the screws (2) in the ceiling panel (1).
(4) Put the angle section (3) in position and install the washers (6) and the screws (7).
(5) Install the screws (18).
(6) Put the T-section (17) and the L-section (16) in position and install the screws (15).
(7) Install the screws (10).

(3) Cut the new synthetic cord to length and put the cord Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) (10) at the floor panel and component interfaces.
(4) Cut the synthetic fiber cord (10) longer than necessary to make an overlap of approximately 200/+4/mm at each end. After application of the sealant, turn the ends 200 mm (7.8740 in.) back to make a loop and press the loop into the sealant. This helps the next removal procedure.
(5) Apply the sealant.
(6) Apply the SEALANTS to the floor panel and component interfaces.
(7) Apply the SEALANTS to seal the bolts (2).
(8) Install the wall fitting covers (4).
(9) Install the screw (8) in the bracket (9).
(10) Install the screw (6) in the door locator (7).
Subtask 25-43-41-420-072-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If necessary, install the shims (5).
(2) Install the washers (3) and the bolts (2) in the wall fittings (1).

(9) Install the screw (8) in the bracket (9).
(10) Install the screw (6) in the door locator (7).
C. Installation of the Lower Attachments
(1) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) to the bolts (2) and new packings NAS 1611-209 (3).
(2) Put the new packing (3) in position at the attachment point locations.
(3) Put the lavatory assembly in position and install the bolts (2) in the fittings (1).
(5) Install the wall fitting cover (4).

(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the drain tube (9) in position and install the clamp (8).
(c) Tighten the clamp (8).
(d) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

(c) Put the drain tube (10) in position and install the clamp (9).
(d) Tighten the clamp (9).
(3) If necessary, put the insulation (3) in its correct position.

(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Connect the ventilation hoses (7) and (12) as follows:
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the clamp (9) in position and connect the ventilation hose (7) to the fitting (10).
(c) Tighten the clamp (9).
(d) Put the clamp (6) in position on the ventilation hose (7) and install the spacer (8), washers (4) and screw (5).
(e) Tighten the screw (5).
(f) Put the clamp (11) in position and connect the ventilation hose (12) to the fitting (10).
(g) Tighten the clamp (11).
(3) Connect the air-extraction hose (1) as follows:
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the clamp (2) in position and connect the air-extraction hose (1) to the fitting (3).
(c) Tighten the clamp (2).
(d) Put the clamps (13) in position and connect the bellow (14) to the air-extraction line.
(e) Tighten the clamps (13).

(d) Put the clamps (13) in position and connect the bellow (14) to the air-extraction line.
(e) Tighten the clamps (13).
H. Installation of the Electrical Connections
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) If removed, install the cable assembly (9) as follows:
(a) Remove the temporary attachment from the cable assembly (9).
(b) Put the cable assembly (9) in position on the mounts (11) and install the new CABLE TIES (10).
(3) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(5) Connect the cable assembly (9) to the flush switch (2).
(6) Open the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
(7) Put the bracket (5) in position and install the washers (7) and the screws (6).
(8) Tighten the screws (6).
(9) Connect the electrical connector (4).
(10) If necessary, attach the cable assembly (12) to the cable assembly (8) with the new CABLE TIES (13).
(11) Put the cable assemblies (8) and (12) in position on the mounts (14) and install the new CABLE TIES (15).
(12) On the lavatory ceiling, connect electrical connector 7202VC-A (16).
(13) Close the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
Subtask 25-43-41-410-072-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) If removed, install the cable assembly (9) as follows:
(a) Remove the temporary attachment from the cable assembly (9).

(13) Close the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).

(3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(4) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).

(a) Install partition 161DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-001).

(3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.

(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).

D. Repair of the Water Seal
(1) Do a visual inspection of the seal (part of the lavatory).
(2) If necessary, remove the damaged seal.
(3) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Install the new seal as follows:
(a) Cut the silicone section to the correct length and attach it with Adhesive Transfer Tape-- Very High Temp. - Very High Adhesion - (Material No.05NAH2) to the cabin floor.
(b) Make sure that the seal touches the lavatory and the lower sidewall panel.
(c) If necessary, seal the space between the lavatory and the lower sidewall panel with Silicone Sealant-Non Textile Floor Jointing One part - (Material No.06BQD1) .
Subtask 25-43-41-862-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do a visual inspection of the seal (part of the lavatory).
(2) If necessary, remove the damaged seal.
