B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Depressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002).
(2) Drain the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 12-24-38-680-001).
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to do the servicing of the water system.

E. Get Access
(1) Remove the passenger seat adjacent to the lavatory (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).
(2) Remove the applicable ceiling panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(3) Remove the cove light panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-48-000-001).
(4) Remove the upper sidewall panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-43-000-001).
(5) Remove the lower sidewall panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-000-001).
(6) Remove the lavatory door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-19-000-001).
(7) Remove the toilet assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-41-000-001).
(8) Remove the toilet shroud (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-22-000-001).
(9) Remove the toilet drain line installed behind the lavatory (Ref. AMM TASK 38-30-00-010-002).
(10) In the lavatory, remove emergency oxygen container 31WR1 (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-41-000-001).
Subtask 25-43-44-010-050-N ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the passenger seat adjacent to the lavatory (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).
(2) Remove the applicable ceiling panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(3) Remove the cove light panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-48-000-001).
(4) Remove the upper sidewall panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-43-000-001).
(5) Remove the lower sidewall panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-000-001).
(6) Remove the lavatory door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-19-000-001).
(7) Remove the toilet assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-41-000-001).
(8) Remove the toilet shroud (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-22-000-001).
(9) Remove the toilet drain line installed behind the lavatory (Ref. AMM TASK 38-30-00-010-002).
(10) In the lavatory, remove emergency oxygen container 31WR1 (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-41-000-001).
E. Get Access
(1) Remove the passenger seat adjacent to the lavatory (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).
(2) Remove the doghouse (Ref. AMM TASK 25-27-46-000-001).
(3) Remove the ceiling panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(4) Remove the cove light panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-48-000-001).
(5) Remove the upper sidewall panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-43-000-001).
(6) Remove the lower sidewall panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-000-001).
(7) Remove the lavatory door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-19-000-001).
(8) Remove the toilet assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-41-000-001).
(9) Remove the toilet shroud (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-22-000-001).
(10) Remove the toilet drain line, installed behind the lavatory (Ref. AMM TASK 38-30-00-010-002).
(11) In the lavatory, remove the emergency oxygen container 31WR1 (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-41-000-001).
4. Procedure(1) Remove the passenger seat adjacent to the lavatory (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).
(2) Remove the doghouse (Ref. AMM TASK 25-27-46-000-001).
(3) Remove the ceiling panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(4) Remove the cove light panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-48-000-001).
(5) Remove the upper sidewall panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-43-000-001).
(6) Remove the lower sidewall panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-000-001).
(7) Remove the lavatory door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-19-000-001).
(8) Remove the toilet assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-41-000-001).
(9) Remove the toilet shroud (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-22-000-001).
(10) Remove the toilet drain line, installed behind the lavatory (Ref. AMM TASK 38-30-00-010-002).
(11) In the lavatory, remove the emergency oxygen container 31WR1 (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-41-000-001).
Subtask 25-43-44-020-056-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Air Connections
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Disconnect the air extraction connections:
(a) Above the lavatory ceiling, loosen the clamp (2) and disconnect the air extraction hose (1).
(3) Disconnect the ventilation hose:
(a) Behind the lavatory, loosen the clamp (11) and disconnect the ventilation hose (12).
(b) Loosen the clamp (9) and disconnect the ventilation hose (7).
(c) Remove the screw (5), the washer (4), the spacer (8) and clamp (6).
(d) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(4) Disconnect the electrical connection:
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
Subtask 25-43-44-020-056-H ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Disconnect the air extraction connections:
(a) Above the lavatory ceiling, loosen the clamp (2) and disconnect the air extraction hose (1).
(3) Disconnect the ventilation hose:
(a) Behind the lavatory, loosen the clamp (11) and disconnect the ventilation hose (12).
(b) Loosen the clamp (9) and disconnect the ventilation hose (7).
(c) Remove the screw (5), the washer (4), the spacer (8) and clamp (6).
(d) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(4) Disconnect the electrical connection:
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S) IS(ARE) DISCONNECTED BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE BONDING STRAP(S).
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (13). (b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
A. Removal of the Air Connections
(1) Disconnect the air extraction connections:
(a) Above the lavatory ceiling, loosen the clamp (2) and disconnect the air extraction hose (1).
(2) Disconnect the ventilation hoses:
(a) Behind the lavatory, loosen the clamps (9) and (11) and disconnect the ventilation hoses (10) and (6).
(b) Remove the screws (4), the washers (5), the spacers (8) and the clamps (7).
(c) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(3) Disconnect the electrical connection:
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
Subtask 25-43-44-020-057-H ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Disconnect the air extraction connections:
(a) Above the lavatory ceiling, loosen the clamp (2) and disconnect the air extraction hose (1).
(2) Disconnect the ventilation hoses:
(a) Behind the lavatory, loosen the clamps (9) and (11) and disconnect the ventilation hoses (10) and (6).
(b) Remove the screws (4), the washers (5), the spacers (8) and the clamps (7).
(c) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(3) Disconnect the electrical connection:
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S) IS(ARE) DISCONNECTED BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE BONDING STRAP(S).
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (13). (b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
B. Removal of the Water Connections
(2) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(3) Disconnect the potable water connections as follows:
(a) Remove the nut (5) and the washer (4) and disconnect the bonding straps (3).
(b) Loosen the nut (1) and disconnect the potable water tube (2) from the fitting (6).
(c) Loosen the nuts (1) and remove the potable water hose (7) from the fittings (6).
(d) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(4) Disconnect the waste-water drain connection as follows:
(b) Remove the clamp (8).
(c) Remove the screws (13), washers (12), spacers (11), nuts (14) and clamps (10).
(d) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
Subtask 25-43-44-020-060-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
DO NOT DO WORK ON THE TOILET WASTE SYSTEM AND THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM AT THE SAME TIME. THIS WILL PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. SUCH CONTAMINATION CAN BE DANGEROUS TO HEALTH.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT YOU USE FOR THIS PROCEDURE IS CLEAN AND APPROVED FOR THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. IF NOT IT CAN CAUSE CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM.
WARNING:
BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM, CLEAN YOUR HANDS WITH SOAP AND WATER. THIS WILL PREVENT INFECTION. (CONTAMINATION FROM TOILET WASTE IS DANGEROUS TO HEALTH).
(1) Put the CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) in position below the water connections that you will disconnect. (2) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(3) Disconnect the potable water connections as follows:
(a) Remove the nut (5) and the washer (4) and disconnect the bonding straps (3).
(b) Loosen the nut (1) and disconnect the potable water tube (2) from the fitting (6).
(c) Loosen the nuts (1) and remove the potable water hose (7) from the fittings (6).
(d) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(4) Disconnect the waste-water drain connection as follows:
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARK ON THE WASTE WATER AND AIR OUTLET HOSES AND ON THEIR RELATED CONNECTIONS.
IF YOU CONNECT ONE OF THESE HOSES TO THE CONNECTION OF THE OTHER HOSE, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Loosen the clamp (8) and disconnect the drain tube (9). (b) Remove the clamp (8).
(c) Remove the screws (13), washers (12), spacers (11), nuts (14) and clamps (10).
(d) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
C. Removal of the Upper Attachments
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Remove the bolts (1) and (3) and the washers (2).

(2) Remove the bolts (1) and (3) and the washers (2).
D. Removal of the Lower Attachments
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Remove the covers (5).
(3) Remove the bolts (9), washers (8), bushes (7) and (6).
(4) Carefully remove the lavatory unit.
(5) Remove the screws (4), pins (1), washers (3) and fittings (2) from the seat tracks.
Subtask 25-43-44-020-062-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Remove the covers (5).
(3) Remove the bolts (9), washers (8), bushes (7) and (6).
(4) Carefully remove the lavatory unit.
(5) Remove the screws (4), pins (1), washers (3) and fittings (2) from the seat tracks.
E. Disassembly of the Lavatory
(1) Remove the pelmet (1) and the door sill (5) as follows:
(a) Remove the screws (3), washers (2) and pelmet (1).
(b) Remove the screws (6) and the door sill (5) from the floor pan assembly (4).
(2) Disconnect the electrical connectors (7), (8), (9) and (10) as follows:
(a) Open the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connectors (10), (7), (8) and (9).
(c) Remove and discard the CABLE TIES (6) from the mounts (5).
(d) Remove the cable assemblies (4) and (2).
(e) Remove the bolts (11), washers (12) and bracket (13).
(f) Disconnect the cable assembly (4) from the toilet flush switch (1).
(g) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(h) Close the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
(3) Disassemble the lavatory assemblies (1) and (3) as follows:
(a) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(b) Remove the sealant from around the floor pan assembly (2) with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(c) Remove the screws (8) and the washers (7).
(d) Remove the screws (6) and the washers (5).
(e) Lift and remove the lavatory assemblies (1) and (3) from the floor pan assembly (2).
(f) Remove the floor pan assembly (2).
(g) Remove the screws (4), (12) and (14) and the washers (11) and (13).
(h) Remove the screw (15) from the door side frame.
(i) Remove the screws (9) and the washers (10).
(j) Remove the lavatory assemblies (1) and (3) from the aircraft.
(k) If necessary, remove the screws (16).
(l) If installed, remove the washers (21) from the floor angle brackets (17).
(m) If necessary, remove the rubber strips (18), (20) and (22) from the floor panel (19).
(n) Remove the floor panel (19) from the aircraft.
(1) Remove the pelmet (1) and the door sill (5) as follows:
(a) Remove the screws (3), washers (2) and pelmet (1).
(b) Remove the screws (6) and the door sill (5) from the floor pan assembly (4).
(2) Disconnect the electrical connectors (7), (8), (9) and (10) as follows:
(a) Open the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connectors (10), (7), (8) and (9).
(c) Remove and discard the CABLE TIES (6) from the mounts (5).
(d) Remove the cable assemblies (4) and (2).
(e) Remove the bolts (11), washers (12) and bracket (13).
(f) Disconnect the cable assembly (4) from the toilet flush switch (1).
(g) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(h) Close the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
(3) Disassemble the lavatory assemblies (1) and (3) as follows:
(a) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(b) Remove the sealant from around the floor pan assembly (2) with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(c) Remove the screws (8) and the washers (7).
(d) Remove the screws (6) and the washers (5).
(e) Lift and remove the lavatory assemblies (1) and (3) from the floor pan assembly (2).
(f) Remove the floor pan assembly (2).
(g) Remove the screws (4), (12) and (14) and the washers (11) and (13).
(h) Remove the screw (15) from the door side frame.
(i) Remove the screws (9) and the washers (10).
(j) Remove the lavatory assemblies (1) and (3) from the aircraft.
(k) If necessary, remove the screws (16).
(l) If installed, remove the washers (21) from the floor angle brackets (17).
(m) If necessary, remove the rubber strips (18), (20) and (22) from the floor panel (19).
(n) Remove the floor panel (19) from the aircraft.
