A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the potable water system is drained (Ref. AMM TASK 12-24-38-680-001).
(3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to do the servicing of the water system.
(4) Make sure that the passenger seat adjacent to the lavatory is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).
(5) Make sure that the galley is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-42-000-001).
(6) Make sure that the ceiling panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(7) Make sure that the cove light panel are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-48-000-001).
(8) Make sure that the upper sidewall panel are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-43-000-001).
(9) Make sure that the lower sidewall panel is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-000-001).
(10) Make sure that the lavatory door is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-19-000-001).
(11) Make sure that the toilet assembly is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-41-000-001).

(13) Make sure that the toilet drain line is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 38-30-00-010-002).
(14) Make sure that the emergency oxygen container 34WR1 is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-41-000-001).
(15) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is de-energized (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-862-001).
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) If necessary, examine the Non-Textile Floor covering (NTF) as follows:
(a) If the condition of the NTF is not satisfactory, repair it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-20-00-350-003).
(b) If you cannot repair the NTF, replace it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-42-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-42-400-001).
Subtask 25-43-44-865-066-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If necessary, examine the Non-Textile Floor covering (NTF) as follows:
(a) If the condition of the NTF is not satisfactory, repair it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-20-00-350-003).
(b) If you cannot repair the NTF, replace it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-42-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-42-400-001).

A. Installation of the Floor Pan Assembly
(1) If the rubber strips (9), (8) and (6) from the floor panel (7) are removed, install them.
(2) If the screws (4) from the floor angle brackets (5) are removed, install them.
(4) Apply the Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the screws (3).
(5) Put the floor pan assembly (1) in position and install door sill (2) and the screws (3).
(6) Tighten the screws (3).
(7) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 25-43-44-420-062-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If the rubber strips (9), (8) and (6) from the floor panel (7) are removed, install them.
(2) If the screws (4) from the floor angle brackets (5) are removed, install them.
WARNING:

(3) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) to the floor pan inside the lavatory. (4) Apply the Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the screws (3).
(5) Put the floor pan assembly (1) in position and install door sill (2) and the screws (3).
(6) Tighten the screws (3).
(7) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(8) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to the floor pan and the floor panel at the lavatory door area. B. Assembly of the Lavatory
(1) Put the lavatory assemblies (12) and (11) in the center of the aircraft aisle.
(2) Put the lavatory assemblies (12) and (11) in position and install the washers (15) and (14) and the screws (16) and (13).
(3) Install the screw (10) in the door side frame.
(4) Install the washers (8) and the screws (9) and (7) in the ceiling panel (6).
(5) Put the lavatory assemblies (12) and (11) in position on the floor pan assembly (1).
(6) Put the washers (3) in position and install the screws (2).
(7) Put the washers (5) in position and install the screws (4).
(8) Apply a bead of sealants around the floor pan assembly (1) inside of the lavatory assembly.
Subtask 25-43-44-420-063-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the lavatory assemblies (12) and (11) in the center of the aircraft aisle.
(2) Put the lavatory assemblies (12) and (11) in position and install the washers (15) and (14) and the screws (16) and (13).
(3) Install the screw (10) in the door side frame.
(4) Install the washers (8) and the screws (9) and (7) in the ceiling panel (6).
(5) Put the lavatory assemblies (12) and (11) in position on the floor pan assembly (1).
(6) Put the washers (3) in position and install the screws (2).
(7) Put the washers (5) in position and install the screws (4).
(8) Apply a bead of sealants around the floor pan assembly (1) inside of the lavatory assembly.
C. Install the Lower Attachments
(2) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) to the seat tracks in the area of the lavatory.
(3) Put the fittings (2) in position in the seat tracks and install the stoppers (3) and the screws (4).
(4) Tighten the screws (4).
(5) Carefully lift the lavatory assembly in position on the pins (1) and the fittings (2).
(6) Tighten the pins (1).
(7) Install the bushes (6) and (7), the washers (8) and the bolts (9).
(8) Tighten the bolts (9).
(9) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) to the head of the bolts (9).
(10) Install the covers (5).
Subtask 25-43-44-420-064-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(1) Apply Mineral Oil base Grease-General Purpose Medium Temp. - (Material No.03FBB1) to the fittings (2), the stoppers (3), the pins (1), the screws (4), the bolts (9) and the bushes (6) and (7). (2) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) to the seat tracks in the area of the lavatory.
(3) Put the fittings (2) in position in the seat tracks and install the stoppers (3) and the screws (4).
(4) Tighten the screws (4).
(5) Carefully lift the lavatory assembly in position on the pins (1) and the fittings (2).
(6) Tighten the pins (1).
(7) Install the bushes (6) and (7), the washers (8) and the bolts (9).
(8) Tighten the bolts (9).
(9) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) to the head of the bolts (9).
(10) Install the covers (5).
D. Installation of the Upper Attachments
(1) Connect the tie rod (5) to the aircraft structure and install the quick-release pin (2).
(2) If necessary adjust the tie rod:
(b) Adjust the tie rod until you can install the quick-release pin (2).
(c) Make sure that the rod end (3) is in safety.
(d) Tighten the locknut (4) and safety them with14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
(3) Install the panel (1).
Subtask 25-43-44-420-065-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Connect the tie rod (5) to the aircraft structure and install the quick-release pin (2).
(2) If necessary adjust the tie rod:
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(a) Remove and discard the lockwire and loosen the locknut (4). (b) Adjust the tie rod until you can install the quick-release pin (2).
(c) Make sure that the rod end (3) is in safety.
(d) Tighten the locknut (4) and safety them with
(3) Install the panel (1).
E. Installation of the Water Connections
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the potable water tube (3) and the potable water hose (8) in position and connect the nuts (2) to the fittings (7).
(c) TORQUE the nuts (2) to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
.
(d) Make sure that the potable water hose (8) is not twisted.
(e) Put the bonding straps (4) in position and install the washer (6) and the nut (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) Connect the waste-water drain connection:
(a) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(b) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(c) Put the clamp (12) and the drain tube (11) in position and install the nut (13), the washer(s) (14) and the screw (15).
(d) Put the sleeve (10) and the clamps (9) in position on the drain tube (11).
(e) Tighten the clamps (9).
(f) Make sure that the end of the sleeve (10) is aligned with the painted mark on the drain tube (11).
(3) Close the sanitary-cabinet access door (1).
Subtask 25-43-44-420-066-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
DO NOT DO WORK ON THE TOILET WASTE SYSTEM AND THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM AT THE SAME TIME. THIS WILL PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. SUCH CONTAMINATION CAN BE DANGEROUS TO HEALTH.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT YOU USE FOR THIS PROCEDURE IS CLEAN AND APPROVED FOR THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. IF NOT IT CAN CAUSE CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM.
WARNING:
BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM, CLEAN YOUR HANDS WITH SOAP AND WATER. THIS WILL PREVENT INFECTION. (CONTAMINATION FROM TOILET WASTE IS DANGEROUS TO HEALTH).
(1) Connect the potable water connections: (a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the potable water tube (3) and the potable water hose (8) in position and connect the nuts (2) to the fittings (7).
(c) TORQUE the nuts (2) to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
. (d) Make sure that the potable water hose (8) is not twisted.
(e) Put the bonding straps (4) in position and install the washer (6) and the nut (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) Connect the waste-water drain connection:
(a) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(b) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(c) Put the clamp (12) and the drain tube (11) in position and install the nut (13), the washer(s) (14) and the screw (15).
(d) Put the sleeve (10) and the clamps (9) in position on the drain tube (11).
(e) Tighten the clamps (9).
(f) Make sure that the end of the sleeve (10) is aligned with the painted mark on the drain tube (11).
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(g) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the mating surface of the sleeve (10). (3) Close the sanitary-cabinet access door (1).
F. Installation of the Air Connections
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Connect the ventilation hoses:
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the clamps (6) in position on the ventilation hose (8) and install the spacers (7), washers (5) and screws (4).
(c) Put the clamps (10) and (12) and the ventilation hoses (9) and (8) in position on the ventilation tube (11).
(d) Tighten the clamps (10) and (12).
(3) Connect the extraction hose:
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the air extraction hose (1) and the clamp (2) in position on the tube assembly (3).
(c) Tighten the clamp (2).
Subtask 25-43-44-420-067-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Connect the ventilation hoses:
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the clamps (6) in position on the ventilation hose (8) and install the spacers (7), washers (5) and screws (4).
(c) Put the clamps (10) and (12) and the ventilation hoses (9) and (8) in position on the ventilation tube (11).
(d) Tighten the clamps (10) and (12).
(3) Connect the extraction hose:
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the air extraction hose (1) and the clamp (2) in position on the tube assembly (3).
(c) Tighten the clamp (2).
G. Installation of the Electrical Connections
(1) Open the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
(2) Put the cable assembies (4) and (2) in position on the mounts (5) and install the new cable ties (6).
(3) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(5) Connect the cable assembly (2) to the flush switch (1).
(6) Put the bracket (14) in position and install the washers (13) and the screws (12).
(7) Connect the electrical connectors (7), (8), (9) and (11).
(8) On the lavatory ceiling, connect the electrical connector (10).
(9) Close the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
Subtask 25-43-44-410-067-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Open the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
(2) Put the cable assembies (4) and (2) in position on the mounts (5) and install the new cable ties (6).
(3) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(5) Connect the cable assembly (2) to the flush switch (1).
(6) Put the bracket (14) in position and install the washers (13) and the screws (12).
(7) Connect the electrical connectors (7), (8), (9) and (11).
(8) On the lavatory ceiling, connect the electrical connector (10).
(9) Close the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
H. Installation of the Lavatory Equipment
(1) Install the toilet assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-41-400-001).
(2) Do not install the toilet shroud at this time.
(3) Install the emergency oxygen container [34WR1] (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-41-400-001).
(4) Install the lavatory door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-19-400-001).

(2) Do not install the toilet shroud at this time.

L. Installation of the Pelmet
(1) Put the pelmet (1) in position and install the washers (2) and the screws (3).

NOTE: Make sure that the washer (2) is correctly positioned on the pelmet before tightening the screws (3).
