A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized from the external power (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Preparation of the Drain lines for Installation

F Toilet Drain Lines ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (3) Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
   (4) Apply Mineral Oil base Grease-- Vaseline or Petrolatum - (Material No.03FAB1) to the new O-rings (2) and install them on the drain line ends.
   (5) Install the clamshells (4) over the drain lines before you put the drain lines in position.
   (6) Make sure that the clamshells (4) is installed correctly:
  • axial adjustment is more than 6.35mm
  • angular misalignment is +/- 4 degree in any direction around centerline.

A. Installation of the Toilet Drain Lines
F Clamp Installation Requirements ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Examples A, B, C, D, and E.
     (a) Put the drain lines (1) in position.
   (2) Example B.
     (a) Put the clamp assemblies (7) and the spacers (8) in position.
     (b) Install the washers (6), the bolts (5) and the nuts (9) but do not tighten them at this time.
   (3) Example C.
     (a) Put the clamps (10) in position.
     (b) Put the washers (6) on the bolts (5).
     (c) Install the bolts (5), the spacers (8), the washers (6) and the nuts (9).
   (4) Example E.
     (a) Put the clamp assemblies (7) in position.
     (b) Install the washers (6), the bolts (5), the washers (6) and the nuts (9) but do not tighten them at this time.
   (5) Example A.
     (a) Move the sleeves (3) over the drain lines (1).
     (b) Install the clamshells (4).
     (c) Make sure that the clamshells (4) is installed correctly:
  • axial adjustment is more than 6.35mm
  • angular misalignment is +/- 4 degree in any direction around centerline.
   (6) Examples B, C, and E.
     (a) Tighten the bolts (5) and the nuts (9).
   (7) Example D.
     (a) Put the clamps (11) in position.
     (b) Install the washers (6), the bolts (5), the bonding straps (12) and the nuts (9).
     (c) Make sure that the bonding straps are correctlly bonded (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).

     (a) Put the drain lines (1) in position.
   (2) Example B.
     (a) Put the clamp assemblies (7) and the spacers (8) in position.
     (b) Install the washers (6), the bolts (5) and the nuts (9) but do not tighten them at this time.
   (3) Example C.
     (a) Put the clamps (10) in position.
     (b) Put the washers (6) on the bolts (5).
     (c) Install the bolts (5), the spacers (8), the washers (6) and the nuts (9).
   (4) Example E.
     (a) Put the clamp assemblies (7) in position.
     (b) Install the washers (6), the bolts (5), the washers (6) and the nuts (9) but do not tighten them at this time.
   (5) Example A.
     (a) Move the sleeves (3) over the drain lines (1).
     (b) Install the clamshells (4).
     (c) Make sure that the clamshells (4) is installed correctly:
  • axial adjustment is more than 6.35mm
  • angular misalignment is +/- 4 degree in any direction around centerline.

     (a) Tighten the bolts (5) and the nuts (9).
   (7) Example D.
     (a) Put the clamps (11) in position.

     (a) Installation of the pipes between Frame 35 and frame 36
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
     (b) Clean the clamp and the pipes with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
     (c) Install the new O-rings (2) on the pipes (1).
     (d) Move the sleeve (3) back over the O-rings (2).
     (e) Install the clamshell (15) over the sleeve (3) and make sure that the locking device is turned downward.
     (f) Install the lock pin in the clamshell (15).
     (g) Make sure that the clamshell (15) is installed correctly:
  • axial adjustment is more than 6.35mm
  • angular misalignment is +/- 4 degree in any direction around centerline.
     (h) Seal the clamshell with Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) .
   (9) Example G.
     (a) Put the caution placard (13) in position and fastend it with tie-wraps (14).

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) For the drain lines in zone 110-122 between Frame 11 and 24A.
     (a) Close the access panels 812 824.
   (3) For the drain lines in the FWD cargo compartment in zone 131 between Frame 24A and 34.
     (a) Close the side wall panels 131GW 131HW 131MW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-003).
     (b) Close the patition panels 131DW 131PW for the drain lines at Frame 24A and 34 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-11-400-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-001).
   (4) For the drain lines on the wing box in zone 241 between Frame 35 and 47
     (a) Install the floor panels 241CF 241GF 241LF (Ref. AMM TASK 53-32-12-400-002).
   (5) For the drain lines in the AFT cargo compartment in zone 151 between Frame 47 and 56.
     (a) Close the side wall panels 151CW 151DW 151EW 151HW 151JW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-003).
   (6) For the drain lines in the AFT cargo compartment in zone 151 at Frame 47.
     (a) Close the patition panel 151BW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-001).
   (7) For the drain lines in the AFT cargo compartment in zone 161 between Frame 59 and 65.
     (a) Close the side wall panels 161AW 161BW 161CW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-003).
   (8) For the drain lines in the AFT cargo compartment in zone 170 at Frame 65.
     (a) Close the patition panels 161DW 162DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-001).
   (9) Remove the access platform(s).
   (10) Remove the warning notices.

   (4) For the drain lines on the wing box in zone 241 between Frame 35 and 47.
     (a) Install the floor panels 241CF 241GF 241LF (Ref. AMM TASK 53-32-12-400-002).
   (5) For the drain lines in the AFT cargo compartment in zone 151 between Frame 47.2 and 59.
     (a) Close the side wall panels 151RW 151CW 151DW 151EW 151HW 151JW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-003).
   (6) For the drain lines in the AFT cargo compartment in zone 151 at Frame 47.1.
     (a) Close the patition panel 151BW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-001).
   (7) For the drain lines in the AFT cargo compartment in zone 161 between Frame 59 and 65.
     (a) Close the side wall panels 161AW 161BW 161CW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-003).

     (a) Close the side wall panels 151VW 151UW 151TW 151SW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-003).
   (6) For the drain lines in the AFT cargo compartment in zone 151 at Frame 47:
     (a) Close the patition panel 151BW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-001).
   (7) For the drain lines in the AFT cargo compartment in zone 161 between Frame 59 and 65:
     (a) Close the side wall panels 161AW 161BW 161CW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-003).
   (8) For the drain lines in the AFT cargo compartment in zone 170 at Frame 65:
     (a) Close the patition panels 161DW 162DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-001).
   (9) Remove the access platform(s).
   (10) Remove the warning notices.
