WARNING:
PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
- THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
- THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE PROBES ON THE GROUND. THE PROBES CAN STAY HOT FOR A LONG TIME AND WILL BURN YOU.
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE AND THE ADJACENT COMPONENTS AFTER ENGINE SHUTDOWN. THE ENGINE, THE ENGINE OIL AND THE ADJACENT COMPONENTS CAN STAY HOT FOR A LONG TIME. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, INJURY CAN OCCUR.
WARNING:
BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR NEAR THE ENGINES, PUT A WARNING NOTICE IN THE COCKPIT. THIS WARNING NOTICE MUST TELL PERSONS NOT TO START THE ENGINES DURING THE PROCEDURE. IF THE ENGINES START WHILE YOU ARE NEAR THEM, THE SUCTION CAN PULL YOU INTO OR AGAINST THE AIR INTAKE. THIS CAN KILL YOU OR CAUSE INJURY TO YOU.
CAUTION:
BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON AN EXTERNAL SURFACE OF THE AIRCRAFT, MAKE SURE THAT THIS SURFACE HAS A CORRECT PROTECTION. IF THE PROTECTION IS NOT CORRECT, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE.

A. General
(a) If you find damage (signs of impact, damaged paintwork, abrasions, scratches or dents) on a composite part, you must do an inspection of the related damaged area for delamination and internal damage.
(2) If there is damage to the aircraft structure, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (SRM). The SRM has the approved damage limits and repair procedures.
(3) You must systematically open and examine the radome. In some special conditions, the radome can have delamination without signs of impact.
Subtask 05-51-14-210-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: All the necessary inspections are visual unless the text gives other instructions.
Operators can refer to the Non-destructive Testing Manual (NTM) and use non-destructive procedures.
(1) Inspection recommendations on composite parts Operators can refer to the Non-destructive Testing Manual (NTM) and use non-destructive procedures.
