4. Procedure
Subtask 25-50-00-910-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. General Information
NOTE: This task does not include the repair of the decompression panels and the floor panels.
NOTE: The cargo door linings and the cargo door actuator-linings do not have a honeycomb core. This task does not include the repair of these linings.
   (1) For the repair of the decompression panel flanges with H-profile (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-340-002).
   (2) For the protection procedure of the cargo compartment linings (S-glass protection patch on the view side) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-340-001)
   (3) For the repair of the floor panels SRM 530200.
   (4) For more information about the rapid decompression safety-system (Ref. AMM D/O 25-50-00-00).

   (6) For the repair of the cargo door actuator-linings:
Subtask 25-50-00-210-106-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. General Procedure
NOTE: If you find dents on the skin of the lining panels, you can think that the lining panels are not damaged, if:
  • The upper skin is not damaged
  • There is no visual debonding of the upper skin from the honeycomb core.
   (1)
   (2) Measure the damaged area:
  • L - Length of the damage
  • W - Width of the damage
  • D - Distance to the panel edge, other damage or other repair(s).
NOTE: L is the larger dimension of the damage through the lining and the damage not through the lining. For the damage to the panel edge:
  • W is the damage length perpendicular to the panel edge
  • L is the damage length along the panel edge.
   (3) Find the applicable repair method:
     (a) Do the repair in less than 100 flight hours, if the damage not through has:
  • A maximum diameter of 30 mm (1.18 in.) or
  • A maximum length of 200 mm (7.87 in.) and a maximum width of 25 mm (0.98 in.).
     (b) Do the repair immediately, if:
  • The damage goes through the panel
  • The panel edge(s) is (are) damaged
  • The dimension(s) is (are) more than the limits for the repair in less than 100 flight hours.
NOTE: A repair of the dents (without cracks) in the skin of the outer side of the lining panel is necessary, if the dents are in the area of the panel edge filler. If the area of the panel edge filler is damaged, this is a damage to the panel edge.
     (c) The total damaged area of a lining panel must be less than 25% of its surface.
     (d) If the damage is more than the permitted limits, replace the panel.

  • The upper skin is not damaged
  • There is no visual debonding of the upper skin from the honeycomb core.
   (1)    (2) Measure the damaged area:

  • The damage goes through the panel
  • The panel edge(s) is (are) damaged
  • The dimension(s) is (are) more than the limits for the repair in less than 100 flight hours.
  • The damaged lining panel is installed with attachment elements ABS1847 with silver metallic washers.
NOTE: A repair of the dents (without cracks) in the skin of the outer side of the lining panel is necessary, if the dents are in the area of the panel edge filler. If the area of the panel edge filler is damaged, this is a damage to the panel edge.
