A. Identification of the Damage Area
(Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-200-024)
(1) If the damaged panel is painted (refurbished in accordance to (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-370-001))), remove the paint in the affected area before applying the repair procedure.
(2) To identify the surface of the damaged panel use Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) . If the panel is painted, the applied paint dissolves.
(3) Select the appropriate repair kit.
Subtask 25-50-00-340-063-A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-200-024)
(1) If the damaged panel is painted (refurbished in accordance to (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-370-001))), remove the paint in the affected area before applying the repair procedure.

(3) Select the appropriate repair kit.

NOTE: The repair patch must overlap the damaged area 25.4 mm (1.00 in.) minimum in all directions
B. Repair of the Lining(s) with Patches and Filler
(2) If necessary remove a portion of the layers of TELDAR film from the repair area at least as large as the used patches.
(4) Remove the grit and dust from the repair area with the towel supplied in the repair kit(s).
(5) Clean the repair area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(6) Install the repair patch
(b) Perform the further work-steps necessary to complete the repair according to the manufacturer's instructions delivered with the repair kit.

5. Close-upNOTE: It is not allowed to overlap patches.
NOTE: If the lining panel has a aluminium or titanium cover sheet installed, the repair patch on the view side of the panel should not overlap the cover sheet.
(1) Carefully remove the damaged material from the lining panel. (2) If necessary remove a portion of the layers of TELDAR film from the repair area at least as large as the used patches.
NOTE: The lining panel has a TELDAR film if the resin below the white film is of a different color.
(3) Make the repair area smooth with a CLOTH - ABRASIVE (GRADE 120-180) and make sure that all the gloss finish is removed. (4) Remove the grit and dust from the repair area with the towel supplied in the repair kit(s).
(5) Clean the repair area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(6) Install the repair patch

or - Laminate Repair Patch-Wet Lay up Epoxy 8" x 8" Cargo (Material No.13XEC4) .
(b) Perform the further work-steps necessary to complete the repair according to the manufacturer's instructions delivered with the repair kit.
(c) Make sure that:
- The repair patch overlap the damaged area 25.4 mm (1.00 in.) minimum in all directions
- The reinforcement scrim overlap the repair patch 25.4 mm (1.00 in.) minimum in all directions.
NOTE: Obey the manufacturer's instructions.
(e) Install the repair patch on the other side of the damaged panel. (f) Perform the further work-steps necessary to complete the repair according to the manufacturer's instructions delivered with the repair kit.
(g) Make sure that:
- The repair patch overlap the damaged area 25.4 mm (1.00 in.) minimum in all directions
- The reinforcement scrim overlap the repair patch 25.4 mm (1.00 in.) minimum in all directions.
