A. Get Access
   (1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Open the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the opening of the forward cargo-compartment door.
   (4) Set the light switch to on.

WARNING: USE GOGGLES AND PROTECTIVE CLOTHING WHEN YOU REMOVE, INSTALL OR TORQUE THE FASTENER. IF PARTS OF THE FASTENER RELEASE SUDDENLY, THERE IS A RISK OF INJURY.
A. Removal of the Ceiling Panels

NOTE: The removal of each ceiling panel is the same.
   (1) Hold the ceiling rails (5).
   (2) Loosen the studs (6).
   (3) Remove the ceiling rails (5).
   (4) Hold the ceiling panels (2).
   (5) Loosen the studs (3), (4) and (7) of the ceiling panels (2).
   (6) Remove the ceiling panels (2) from the aircraft structure.

A. Removal of the Ceiling Panels

NOTE: The removal of each ceiling panel is the same.
   (1) Support the ceiling panels (2).
   (2) Loosen the studs (3), (4) and (7) of the ceiling panels (2).
   (3) Remove the ceiling panels (2) from the aircraft structure.
   (4) Support the bumper (8).
   (5) Remove the screws (10) and the washers (9) from the bumper (8).
   (6) Remove the bumper (8) from the ceiling panels (2).
   (7) Remove the screws (11) from the cover (12).
   (8) Remove the cover (12) from the ceiling panels (2).
