A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the opening of the aft cargo-compartment door.
(4) On the control panel of the aft cargo loading-system:
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to use the control panel.
(5) Set the light switch to on.
Subtask 25-55-11-865-078-A (1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the opening of the aft cargo-compartment door.
(4) On the control panel of the aft cargo loading-system:
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to use the control panel.
(5) Set the light switch to on.

C. Get Access
(1) Remove the related ceiling panels of the aft cargo compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-002).
(2) Remove the door actuator of the aft cargo compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 52-36-18-000-001).
4. Procedure(1) Remove the related ceiling panels of the aft cargo compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-002).
(2) Remove the door actuator of the aft cargo compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 52-36-18-000-001).
Subtask 25-55-11-020-055-A
A. Removal of the Cylinder Fairings
(2) Remove and discard the tie wraps (22) from the wires (10) and (21) and the clamps (23).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connector (14) from the receptacle (13).
(4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Attach the wiring harness (21) to the aft cargo-compartment door with TAPE - ADHESIVE.
(7) Safety the bonding straps (26) to the aircraft structure.
(8) Loosen the union nuts (32) and disconnect the pipes (31) from the pipes (35).
(9) Remove the locknuts (33) and the washers (34) from the pipes (35).
(10) Put a PLUG - BLANKING in the disconnected line ends.
(11) Remove the screws (11) from the connector panels (9).
(12) Hold the connector panels (9) in position.
(13) Remove the screws (3), (4), (5) and (6), the washers (2) and the bumpers (7).
(14) Hold the cylinder fairings (1) in position and remove the screws (8) and the washers (2).
(15) Move the connector panels (9) and the wiring harness (10) through the access holes (12) while you carefully lower the cylinder fairings (1).
(16) Remove the cylinder fairings (1).
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU DO NOT USE THE SECOND WRENCH, THERE IS A RISK THAT YOU WILL LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
(1) Remove the bolt (18), washer (19), clamp (20), spacer (17), clamp (16) and spacer (15). (2) Remove and discard the tie wraps (22) from the wires (10) and (21) and the clamps (23).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connector (14) from the receptacle (13).
(4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Attach the wiring harness (21) to the aft cargo-compartment door with TAPE - ADHESIVE.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S) IS(ARE) DISCONNECTED BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE BONDING STRAP(S).
(6) Remove the nuts (24), the washers (25) and the bolts (27) and disconnect the bonding straps (26). (7) Safety the bonding straps (26) to the aircraft structure.
(8) Loosen the union nuts (32) and disconnect the pipes (31) from the pipes (35).
(9) Remove the locknuts (33) and the washers (34) from the pipes (35).
(10) Put a PLUG - BLANKING in the disconnected line ends.
(11) Remove the screws (11) from the connector panels (9).
(12) Hold the connector panels (9) in position.
(13) Remove the screws (3), (4), (5) and (6), the washers (2) and the bumpers (7).
(14) Hold the cylinder fairings (1) in position and remove the screws (8) and the washers (2).
(15) Move the connector panels (9) and the wiring harness (10) through the access holes (12) while you carefully lower the cylinder fairings (1).
(16) Remove the cylinder fairings (1).
