(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
   (3) Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
   (4) Disconnect the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
   (5) Put the warning notices in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
  • In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel
  • On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
   (6) Put the CONTAINER 20L (5 USGAL) below the hydraulic connections of the door actuator to collect the hydraulic fluid.
4. Procedure
Subtask 52-36-18-020-050-B
A. Removal of the Door Actuator
CAUTION: USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU DO NOT USE THE SECOND WRENCH, THERE IS A RISK THAT YOU WILL LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
   (1) Disconnect the electrical connector (27) from the door actuator (16) as follows:
     (a) Remove the electrical connector (27) from the receptacle of the proximity switch.
     (b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (2) Remove the bonding jumpers (14) and (19) from the door actuator (16) as follows:
     (a) Remove the screw (12), the washer (13), the nut (15) and disconnect the bonding jumper (14) from the bonding angle of the eye-end (10).
     (b) Remove the screw (17) and the washer (18) and disconnect the bonding jumper (19) from the door actuator (16)
   (3) Disconnect the hydraulic connections from the door actuator (16) as follows:
     (a) Loosen the union and remove the flexible hose (29) from port A of the door actuator (16).
     (b) Loosen the union and remove the flexible hose (28) from port B of the door actuator (16).
     (c) Install PLUG - BLANKING in the open ports and CAP - BLANKING on the flexible hoses (28) and (29).
   (4) Disconnect the door actuator (16) from the cargo door structure as follows:
     (a) Remove and discard the cotter pin (1) from the nut (2).
     (b) Remove the nut (2), the washer (3) from the bolt (5).
     (c) Hold the door actuator (16) and remove the bolt (5) with the washer (3) from the actuator attachment fitting (4).
     (d) Remove the eye-end (10) from the actuator attachment fitting (4).
     (e) If necessary, remove the bushes (9) and (11) from the actuator attachment fitting (3).
   (5) Disconnect the door actuator (16) from the fuselage structure as follows:
     (a) Remove and discard the cotter pin (26) from the nut (25).
     (b) Remove the nut (25), the washer (23) from the bolt (22).
     (c) Hold the door actuator (16) and remove the bolt (22) with the washer (23) from the actuator beam (24).
     (d) Remove the door actuator (16) from the actuator beam (24).
     (e) If necessary, remove the bushes (20) and (21) from the actuator beam (24).
   (6) Measure the distance between the eye-ends of the removed door actuator (16) and record it to make the installation procedure easier.
