A. Identification of the Damage Area
(Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-200-024)
(1) If the damaged panel is painted (refurbished in accordance to (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-370-001))), remove the paint in the affected area before applying the repair procedure.
(2) To identify the surface of the damaged panel use Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) . If the panel is painted, the applied paint dissolves.
(3) If the length of a damaged area is more than 25 mm (0.98 in.):
(a) You can use the subsequent repair patches to do the repair.
Subtask 25-50-00-340-060-A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-200-024)
(1) If the damaged panel is painted (refurbished in accordance to (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-370-001))), remove the paint in the affected area before applying the repair procedure.
(2) To identify the surface of the damaged panel use Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) . If the panel is painted, the applied paint dissolves.
(3) If the length of a damaged area is more than 25 mm (0.98 in.):
- The minimum distance to another damaged area or repaired area in the same panel is 50 mm (1.97 in.)
- If the distance to another damaged area is less than 50 mm (1.97 in.), both damaged areas must be considered as a single damage.
(a) You can use the subsequent repair patches to do the repair.
B. Repair of the Panel
(2) Make the repair area smooth and deburr it with a CLOTH - ABRASIVE (GRADE 120-180).
(3) Clean the repair area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(4) Make sure that the repair area is dry.
(5) Cut a patch to the applicable dimensions.

5. Close-upNOTE: Do not use the patch to overlap another repair.
(1) Remove the damaged area from the panel. (2) Make the repair area smooth and deburr it with a CLOTH - ABRASIVE (GRADE 120-180).
(3) Clean the repair area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(4) Make sure that the repair area is dry.
(5) Cut a patch to the applicable dimensions.
NOTE: The repair patch must be 38 mm (1.5 in.) larger than the damaged area in all directions.
NOTE: The overlap of patches is not permitted.
(6) Deburr the edges of the patch with a CLOTH - ABRASIVE (GRADE 120-180). (7) Apply:
- Epoxy Adhesive-- - Legacy 3 (Material No.05EML7)
- or Adhesive Transfer Tape-- Very High Temp. - Very High Adhesion - (Material No.05NAH2)
on one side of the repair patch.
(9) Let the repair dry.
NOTE: Obey the manufacturers instructions.
