A. Identification of the Damage Area
(Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-200-024)
(1) If the damaged panel is painted (refurbished in accordance to (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-370-001))), remove the paint in the affected area before applying the repair procedure.
(2) To identify the surface of the damaged panel use Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) . If the panel is painted, the applied paint dissolves.
(3) If the length of a damaged area is more than 25 mm (0.98 in.):

(1) If the damaged panel is painted (refurbished in accordance to (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-370-001))), remove the paint in the affected area before applying the repair procedure.
(2) To identify the surface of the damaged panel use Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) . If the panel is painted, the applied paint dissolves.
(3) If the length of a damaged area is more than 25 mm (0.98 in.):
- the minimum distance to another damaged area or repaired area in the same panel is 50 mm (1.97 in.)
- If the distance to another damaged area is less than 50 mm (1.97 in.), both damaged areas should be considered as a single damage.

NOTE: The repair patch must overlap the damaged area 25.4 mm (1.00 in.) minimum in all directions.
B. Repair of Cargo Compartment Lining(s) with Patch and Filler.
Use
(2) If necessary remove a portion of the layers of TELDAR film from the repair area at least as large as the used patch(es).
(4) Remove the grit and dust from the repair area with the towel supplied in the repair kit(s).
(5) Clean the repair area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(6) Fill the Low density compound-Fire compliant Low temperature curing Furnishing (Material No.13GBB3) into the prepared area.

or - Laminate Repair Patch-Wet Lay up Epoxy 4" x 8" Cargo (Material No.13XEB4)
or - Laminate Repair Patch-Wet Lay up Epoxy 8" x 8" Cargo (Material No.13XEC4) .
NOTE: If the damage exceeds the dimension of the biggest repair patch, it is allowed to overlap patches in one direction only.
Make sure that the minimum overlap width is 6.4 mm (0.25 in.).
(1) Carefully remove the damaged material from the lining panel. Make sure that the minimum overlap width is 6.4 mm (0.25 in.).
(2) If necessary remove a portion of the layers of TELDAR film from the repair area at least as large as the used patch(es).
NOTE: The lining panel has a TELDAR film if the resin below the white film is of a different color.
(3) Make the repair smooth with a CLOTH - ABRASIVE (GRADE 120-180) and make sure that all the gloss finish is removed. (4) Remove the grit and dust from the repair area with the towel supplied in the repair kit(s).
(5) Clean the repair area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(6) Fill the Low density compound-Fire compliant Low temperature curing Furnishing (Material No.13GBB3) into the prepared area.
NOTE: Obey the manufacturer's instructions.
(7) Perform the further work-steps necessary to complete the repair according to the manufacturer's instructions delivered with the repair kit(s). (8) Make sure that:
- The repair patch(es) overlap the damaged area 25.4 mm (1.00 in.) minimum in all directions (dimension A)
- The reinforcement scrim(s) overlap the repair patch(es) 25.4 mm (1.00 in.) minimum in all directions (dimension A).
