(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.

B. Removal of the Related Lining(s)
(a) Forward cargo compartment:
Subtask 25-50-00-210-108-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: This is only necessary if you will do the procedure given in para 4. in the workshop.
(1) Remove the lining(s) as necessary to install a protection patch. (a) Forward cargo compartment:

C. General Information
(1) Make sure the linings are clean and in the correct condition.
(a) If necessary do the repair (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-340-003).
(2) Select the related procedure "A" or "B", see para. 4. of this task.

Subtask 25-50-00-340-067-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Procedure "A"
-Length: 2700 mm (106.2993 in.)
-Width: 1350 mm (53.1496 in.).
(2) Before you install the protection patch, transfer/drill all holes from the lining to the protection patch.
(3) Clean the mating surface.
(a) Clean the mating surface of the lining with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(4) Install the protection patch:
(b) Carefully put the protection patch in position on the view side of the lining.
(c) Make sure that all holes are aligned and that there is a sufficient clearance to the adjacent components (e.g. decompression panel).
(e) Push the protection patch onto the lining with a ROLLER - RUBBER.
(f) Move the roller from the center to the edges to prevent or remove air bubbles.
(g) Make sure that all interface holes and cutouts are in the correct position.
(h) Install the panel and/or the related equipment.
Subtask 25-50-00-340-068-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - Installation of a Protection Patch (Reinforce S-Glass Laminat D2557651900200 with Adhesive).
NOTE: The weight of the lining will increase by 790 g (27.87 oz)
per 1 m2 (10.76 ft.2).

NOTE: It is not permitted to use a patch as an overlap of another protection patch.
(1) Cut a protection patch of the REINFORCE S-GLASS LAMINAT D2557651900200 to these dimensions: -Length: 2700 mm (106.2993 in.)
-Width: 1350 mm (53.1496 in.).
(2) Before you install the protection patch, transfer/drill all holes from the lining to the protection patch.
(3) Clean the mating surface.
(a) Clean the mating surface of the lining with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(4) Install the protection patch:
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE PROTECTION PATCH DOES NOT TOUCH:
(a) At a corner of the protection patch, lift a small piece of the protective backing. - THE FASTENERS AND THE WASHERS
- THE FLANGES AND H-PROFILES
(b) Carefully put the protection patch in position on the view side of the lining.
(c) Make sure that all holes are aligned and that there is a sufficient clearance to the adjacent components (e.g. decompression panel).
NOTE: The adjustment will not be possible in next steps.
(d) Carefully hold the protection patch, remove the remaining protective backing and put the protection patch onto the lining. (e) Push the protection patch onto the lining with a ROLLER - RUBBER.
(f) Move the roller from the center to the edges to prevent or remove air bubbles.
(g) Make sure that all interface holes and cutouts are in the correct position.
(h) Install the panel and/or the related equipment.
B. Procedure "B"

-Width: 1350 mm (53.1496 in.).

(a) Clean the mating surfaces of the lining and the protection patch with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(4) Apply the adhesive:

(b) Make sure that all holes are aligned and that there is a sufficient clearance to the adjacent components (e.g. decompression panel).
(c) If necessary move the protection patch to the correct position.
(d) Carefully push the protection patch onto the lining with a ROLLER - RUBBER.
(e) Move the roller from the center to the edges to prevent or remove air bubbles.
(f) Remove the unwanted sealant with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(g) Make sure that all interface holes and cutouts are in the correct position so that you can install the panel and/or the related equipment.
(h) Attach the protection patch in position with Adhesive Tape-- Glass Cloth - (Material No.05TAB1) for 3 hours.
(i) Remove the tape after the adhesive cure time.
5. Close-up- Installation of a Protection Patch (Reinforce S-Glass Laminat D2557651900000) with a two-component adhesive.
NOTE: The weight of the lining will increase by 690 g (24.34 oz) per 1 m2 (10.76 ft.2).
NOTE: It is not permitted to use a patch as an overlap of another protection patch.

(a) Apply 200 g (7.05 oz) (fluid weight) of Epoxy Adhesive-- - Legacy 3 (Material No.05EML7) per 1 m2 (10.76 ft.2) to the mating surface of the protection patch with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC. (5) Install the protection patch:
