A. Identification of the Damage Area
(Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-200-024)
(1) If the damaged panel is painted (refurbished in accordance to (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-370-001))), remove the paint in the affected area before applying the repair procedure.
(2) To identify the surface of the damaged panel use Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) . If the panel is painted, the applied paint dissolves.
(3) Types of repair patch

(1) If the damaged panel is painted (refurbished in accordance to (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-370-001))), remove the paint in the affected area before applying the repair procedure.
(2) To identify the surface of the damaged panel use Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) . If the panel is painted, the applied paint dissolves.

- Laminate Repair Patch-Cured - Fire compliant Intumescent Cargo (Material No.13XBD4) .
B. Repair of the Panel
(2) Smooth and deburr the repair with a CLOTH - ABRASIVE (GRADE 120-180).
(3) Clean the repair area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a lint free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1)
(4) Make sure that the repair area is dry.
(5) Cut a patch to the applicable dimensions.

(3) Clean the repair area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a lint free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1)
(4) Make sure that the repair area is dry.
(5) Cut a patch to the applicable dimensions.
NOTE: The repair patch must be 38 mm (1.5 in.) larger than the damaged area in all directions.
NOTE: The overlap of patches is not allowed.
(6) Deburr the edges of the patch with a CLOTH - ABRASIVE (GRADE 120-180). (7) Remove the protective backing from the repair patch.
NOTE: Obey the manufacturers instructions.
(8) Put the patch over the damaged area on the rear side and push it into position. (9) Fill the

NOTE: Obey the manufacturers instructions.
(10) Make sure that the repair area is dry. (11) Cut another patch to the applicable dimensions.
NOTE: The repair patch must be 38 mm (1.5 in.) larger than the damaged area in all directions.
NOTE: The overlap of patches is not allowed.
(12) Deburr the edges of the patch with a CLOTH - ABRASIVE (GRADE 120-180). (13) Remove the protective backing from the repair patch.
