A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the potable water system is drained (Ref. AMM TASK 12-24-38-680-001).
(3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to do the servicing of the potable water system.
(4) Make sure that the lavatory door is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-19-000-001).
(5) Make sure that the ceiling panel is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(6) Make sure that the wall-mounted cabin attendant seat is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-41-000-001).
(7) Make sure that the passenger seat adjacent to the lavatory is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).
(8) Make sure that the door frame lining-panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-010).
(9) Make sure that the toilet assembly is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-41-000-001).
(10) Make sure that the toilet shroud is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-22-000-001).

C. Preparation for Installation
(1) If necessary, remove the SAFETY BARRIER(S).
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the sealant from the seat tracks and the attached components with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(4) Clean the seat tracks in the area of the lavatory with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(5) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(6) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(7) Make sure that the placards of the retained/new components are in the correct position and in good condition.
(8) If necessary, install the new placards:
(9) Seal the seat track:
(a) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) to the seat tracks below the lavatory installation and at a distance of 750 mm (29.5276 in.) on each side of the lavatory installation (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-001).
(10) Prepare the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
4. Procedure(1) If necessary, remove the SAFETY BARRIER(S).
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the sealant from the seat tracks and the attached components with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(4) Clean the seat tracks in the area of the lavatory with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(5) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(6) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(7) Make sure that the placards of the retained/new components are in the correct position and in good condition.
(8) If necessary, install the new placards:
(9) Seal the seat track:
(a) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) to the seat tracks below the lavatory installation and at a distance of 750 mm (29.5276 in.) on each side of the lavatory installation (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-001).
(10) Prepare the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
Subtask 25-42-41-420-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Assembly of the Lavatory Module
(1) Assembly of the Lavatory Module
(a) If the rubber strips (10), (12) and (13) from the floor panel (11) are removed, install them.
(b) If the screws (8) from the floor angle brackets (9) are removed, install them.
(c) Put the floor pan assembly (7) in position.
(d) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(f) Put the lavatory assemblies (1) and (2) in position in the center of the aircraft aisle.
(g) Put the lavatory assemblies (1) and (2) in position and install the washers (16) and (17) and the screws (15) and (18).
(h) Install the screw (21) in the door side frame.
(i) Install the washers (19) and the screws (20) and (14) in the lavatory assembly (2).
(j) Put the lavatory assemblies (1) and (2) in position on the floor pan assembly (7).
(k) Put the washers (5) in position and install the screws (6).
(l) Put the washers (4) in position and install the screws (3).
(m) Apply a bead of sealant around the floor pan assembly (7) inside of the lavatory assemblies (1) and (2).
(2) Install the lavatory ventilation hose (if removed before).
(a) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(b) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(c) Put the clamp (8) and the ventilation hose (4) in position on the ventilation tube (9).
(d) Tighten the clamp (8).
(e) Put the clamp (5) in position on the ventilation tube (4) and install the spacer (12), the washer (7) and the screw (6).
(f) Put the clamp (8) and the ventilation hose (10) in position on the ventilation tube (9).
(g) Tighten the clamp (8).
(3) Connect the electrical connections:
(a) Remove the temporary attachment from the cable assembly (9).
(b) Put the cable assembly (9) in position on the mounts (11) and install the new cable ties (10).
(c) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(d) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(e) Connect the cable assembly (9) to the flush switch (2).
(f) Open the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
(g) Put the bracket (5) in position and install the washers (7) and the screws (6).
(h) Connect the electrical connector (4).
(i) Attach the cable assembly (12) to the cable assembly (8) with the new cable ties (13), if necessary.
(j) Put the cable assembly (8) in position on the mounts (14) and install the new cable ties (15).
(k) Close the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
Subtask 25-42-41-420-053-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Assembly of the Lavatory Module
(a) If the rubber strips (10), (12) and (13) from the floor panel (11) are removed, install them.
(b) If the screws (8) from the floor angle brackets (9) are removed, install them.
(c) Put the floor pan assembly (7) in position.
(d) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
WARNING:

(e) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) around the floor pan (11). (f) Put the lavatory assemblies (1) and (2) in position in the center of the aircraft aisle.
(g) Put the lavatory assemblies (1) and (2) in position and install the washers (16) and (17) and the screws (15) and (18).
(h) Install the screw (21) in the door side frame.
(i) Install the washers (19) and the screws (20) and (14) in the lavatory assembly (2).
(j) Put the lavatory assemblies (1) and (2) in position on the floor pan assembly (7).
(k) Put the washers (5) in position and install the screws (6).
(l) Put the washers (4) in position and install the screws (3).
(m) Apply a bead of sealant around the floor pan assembly (7) inside of the lavatory assemblies (1) and (2).
(2) Install the lavatory ventilation hose (if removed before).
(a) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(b) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(c) Put the clamp (8) and the ventilation hose (4) in position on the ventilation tube (9).
(d) Tighten the clamp (8).
(e) Put the clamp (5) in position on the ventilation tube (4) and install the spacer (12), the washer (7) and the screw (6).
(f) Put the clamp (8) and the ventilation hose (10) in position on the ventilation tube (9).
(g) Tighten the clamp (8).
(3) Connect the electrical connections:
(a) Remove the temporary attachment from the cable assembly (9).
(b) Put the cable assembly (9) in position on the mounts (11) and install the new cable ties (10).
(c) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(d) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(e) Connect the cable assembly (9) to the flush switch (2).
(f) Open the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
(g) Put the bracket (5) in position and install the washers (7) and the screws (6).
(h) Connect the electrical connector (4).
(i) Attach the cable assembly (12) to the cable assembly (8) with the new cable ties (13), if necessary.
(j) Put the cable assembly (8) in position on the mounts (14) and install the new cable ties (15).
(k) Close the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
B. Installation of the Lower Attachments and the Lavatory Module
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Install the lavatory module as follows:
(a) Put the seat track fittings (3) in position in the seat track.
(b) Move the seat track fittings (3) to the correct position and install the stop washers (2) with the screws (1).
(c) Tighten the screws (1).
(d) Carefully put the lavatory module in position on the seat track fittings (3).
(e) Install the bushes (5) and (6), washers (7) and bolts (8).
(f) Tighten the bolts (8) .
(g) Install the covers (4).
(3) Put the door sill (9) in position and install the screws (10).
Subtask 25-42-41-420-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Install the lavatory module as follows:
(a) Put the seat track fittings (3) in position in the seat track.
(b) Move the seat track fittings (3) to the correct position and install the stop washers (2) with the screws (1).
(c) Tighten the screws (1).
(d) Carefully put the lavatory module in position on the seat track fittings (3).
(e) Install the bushes (5) and (6), washers (7) and bolts (8).
(f) Tighten the bolts (8) .
(g) Install the covers (4).
(3) Put the door sill (9) in position and install the screws (10).
C. Installation of the Upper Attachments
(1) Put the tie-rod assembly (4) in position and install the quick release pins (2).
(a) If necessary adjust the tie-rod assembly (4):
1 Remove and discard the lockwire and loosen the locknuts (3).
2 Turn the tie-rod assembly (4) until you can install the quick release pins (2).
3 Tighten the locknuts (3) and safety them with stainless steel lockwire14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
(b) Make sure that the rod ends are in safety.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Install the access panel (1).
Subtask 25-42-41-420-056-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the tie-rod assembly (4) in position and install the quick release pins (2).
(a) If necessary adjust the tie-rod assembly (4):
1 Remove and discard the lockwire and loosen the locknuts (3).
2 Turn the tie-rod assembly (4) until you can install the quick release pins (2).
3 Tighten the locknuts (3) and safety them with stainless steel lockwire
(b) Make sure that the rod ends are in safety.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Install the access panel (1).
D. Installation of the Lower Connections
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the potable water tube (2) and the potable water hose (8) in position and connect the nuts (1) to the fittings (7).
(c) TORQUE all the nuts (1) to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
.
(d) Make sure that the potable water hose (8) is not twisted.
(e) Put the bonding straps (4) in position and install the washer (6) and the nut (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) Connect the waste-water drain connection:
(a) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(b) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(c) Put the sleeve (15) and the clamps (16) and (14) in position on the drain tube (9).
(d) Tighten the clamps (16) and (14).
(e) Put the clamp (12) in position.
(f) Install the washer(s) (11), the bolt (10) and the nut (13).
(g) Tighten the clamp (12).
(h) Make sure that the end of the sleeve (15) is aligned with the painted mark on the drain tube (9).
(3) If necessary, put the insulation (3) in its correct position.
Subtask 25-42-41-420-055-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
DO NOT DO WORK ON THE TOILET WASTE SYSTEM AND THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM AT THE SAME TIME. THIS WILL PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. SUCH CONTAMINATION CAN BE DANGEROUS TO HEALTH.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT YOU USE FOR THIS PROCEDURE IS CLEAN AND APPROVED FOR THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. IF NOT IT CAN CAUSE CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM.
WARNING:
BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM, CLEAN YOUR HANDS WITH SOAP AND WATER. THIS WILL PREVENT INFECTION. (CONTAMINATION FROM TOILET WASTE IS DANGEROUS TO HEALTH).
(1) Connect the potable water connections: (a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Put the potable water tube (2) and the potable water hose (8) in position and connect the nuts (1) to the fittings (7).
(c) TORQUE all the nuts (1) to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
. (d) Make sure that the potable water hose (8) is not twisted.
(e) Put the bonding straps (4) in position and install the washer (6) and the nut (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) Connect the waste-water drain connection:
(a) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(b) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(c) Put the sleeve (15) and the clamps (16) and (14) in position on the drain tube (9).
(d) Tighten the clamps (16) and (14).
(e) Put the clamp (12) in position.
(f) Install the washer(s) (11), the bolt (10) and the nut (13).
(g) Tighten the clamp (12).
(h) Make sure that the end of the sleeve (15) is aligned with the painted mark on the drain tube (9).
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(i) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the mating surface of the sleeve (15). (3) If necessary, put the insulation (3) in its correct position.
E. Installation of the Upper Connections
(1) Connect electrical connector 7208VC-A (11) as follows:
(a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(c) Connect the electrical connector (11).
(2) Connect the air extraction hose (3) as follows:
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Make sure that the line ends are clean and clear.
(c) Connect the air extraction hose (3) to the tube (1).
(d) Put the clamps (2) in position.
(e) Tighten the clamps (2).
Subtask 25-42-41-410-058-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Connect electrical connector 7208VC-A (11) as follows:
(a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(c) Connect the electrical connector (11).
(2) Connect the air extraction hose (3) as follows:
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Make sure that the line ends are clean and clear.
(c) Connect the air extraction hose (3) to the tube (1).
(d) Put the clamps (2) in position.
(e) Tighten the clamps (2).
F. Installation of the Miscellaneous Lavatory Equipment
(1) Install the toilet drain line behind the lavatory (Ref. AMM TASK 38-30-00-410-002).
