(2) Open the related door:
(a) For the passenger/crew doors (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(b) For the emergency exits (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-002).

C. Removal of the Components
(1) For the passenger/crew doors:
(a) Remove the door-frame lining panels of the related door:

For the left FWD passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-005).
For the right FWD passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-002).
For the left aft passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-003).
For the right aft passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-004).

(b) Remove the door lining panels of the related door:

For the FWD passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-46-000-001).
For the aft passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-46-000-002).

(2) For the emergency exits:
(a) Remove the frame lining panels of the related emergency exit:

For the left FWD emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-004).
For the right FWD emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-009).
For the left/right aft emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-010).

(b) Remove the lining panels of the related emergency exit:

For the left FWD emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-012).
For the right FWD, right aft or left aft emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-013).

C.	Do a check of the peripheral clearance and out-of-flushness between the door edge and the frame panel. Do this check from the outside while the door is closed:	X

	If you find damage: Do the detailed inspection without removal (item 2).		X
D.	Do a check of the escape-slide release mechanism to make sure that: - There are no unusual noises or hard points. - The handle moves freely.	X
	If you find damage:
	(1) Do a detailed visual inspection of the release mechanism of the emergency escape slide of the passenger/crew door: (a) For the FWD passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-11-22-220-001) (b) For the aft passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-13-22-220-001).		X

	(a) Replace the damaged components.		X
	(b) Do the detailed inspection without removal (item 2).		X
2.	Detailed Inspection Without Removal NOTE: These inspections are applicable if you found damage during the previous inspections.
A.	Examine the support arm:		X
	(1) Make sure that there are no cracks, distortion or damaged paint.
	(2) Examine the condition of the connection links on the door side, for distortion or damaged paint.
	If you find damage: (a) Do a detailed visual inspection of the door suspension mechanism: - For the FWD passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-11-12-220-001) - For the aft passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-13-12-220-001). (b) Do the detailed inspection with removal (item 3).			X
B.	Examine the guide arms:		X
	(1) Make sure that there is no wrinkling on the upper and lower guide arms.
	(2) Examine the fitting that attaches the guide arm to the frame side for distortion or damaged fasteners.
	(3) On the door side, examine the guide-arm attachment fitting for tearing.
	If you find damage: Do the detailed inspection with removal (item 3).			X
C.	Examine the fuselage support-arm fittings:		X
	(1) Examine the fittings that attach the support arm to the door frame. Make sure that there is no distortion, damaged fasteners or bearing migration.
	If you find bearing migration or damage: Contact Airbus.			X
3.	Detailed Inspection with Removal NOTE: These inspections are applicable if you found damage during the detailed inspection without removal (item 2).
A.	Remove the door:			X

A. Installation of the Components
(1) For the passenger/crew doors:
(a) Install the door lining panels of the related door:
1 For the FWD passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-46-400-001).
2 For the aft passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-46-400-002).
(b) Install the door-frame lining panels of the related door:
1 For the left FWD passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-006).
2 For the right FWD passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-007).
3 For the left aft passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-008).
4 For the right aft passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-005).
(2) For the emergency exits:
(a) Install the door lining panels of the related emergency exit:
1 For the left FWD emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-012).
2 For the right FWD, right aft or left aft emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-013).
(b) Install the frame lining panels of the related emergency exit:
1 For the left FWD emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-004).
2 For the right FWD emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-009).
3 For the left/right aft emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-010).

B. Close Access
(1) For the passenger/crew doors:
(a) Obey the special precautions after the work on the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-002).
(b) Close the related passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(2) For the emergency exit:
(a) Obey the special precautions after the work on the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-004).
(b) Close the related emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
