A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(5) Make sure that the cabin escape facilities are removed:
(a) For 832AZ:
Remove the left escape slide (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-000-002) or the left escape slide-raft (Ref. AMM D/O 25-62-44-00).
(b) For 842AZ:
Remove the right escape slide (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-000-802) or the right escape slide-raft (Ref. AMM D/O 25-62-44-00).
(6) For 832DZ ( 842DZ):
(a) Make sure that the SLIDE ARMED indicator-light (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-21-000-002) and the CABIN PRESSURE warning-light (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-22-000-002) are removed from the lining.

4. Procedure

WARNING: BEFORE YOU START WORK ON THE DOOR, MAKE SURE THAT:

THE EMERGENCY CONTROL HANDLE IS IN THE DISARMED POSITION WITH THE SAFETY PIN INSTALLED.
THE PERCUSSION LEVER OF THE DOOR-DAMPER AND EMERGENCY-OPERATION CYLINDER IS IN THE DISARMED POSITION WITH THE SAFETY PIN INSTALLED.

IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, THE DOOR CAN OPEN WITH FORCE OR THE ESCAPE SLIDE CAN DEPLOY SUDDENLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) If necessary, install the new placards (Ref. AMM TASK 11-00-00-400-002) and (Ref. AMM D/O 11-32-25-00).

B. Installation of the Linings

Door Linings - AFT Passenger/Crew Doors ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Install lining 832AZ ( 842AZ) (11):
(a) Engage the lining (11) on the yo-yo rolls.
(b) Install the related washers (3) and the screws (4).
(c) Tighten the screws (4).
(2) Install lining 832BZ ( 842BZ) (10):
(a) Engage the linings (10) on the yo-yo rolls.
(b) Install the related washers (3) and the screws (4).
(c) Tighten the screws (4).
(d) Make sure that you can move the door window shade correctly.
(3) Install lining 832CZ ( 842CZ) (1):
(a) Remove the safety pin (29).
(b) Engage the lining (1) on the yo-yo rolls.
(c) Install the safety pin (29).
(d) Install the related washers (3) and the screws (4).
(e) Tighten the screws (4).
(f) Put the handle plate (14) in position on the emergency control handle (15).
(g) Make sure that the handle plate (14) is installed in the opposite side of the emergency control handle (15).
(h) Install the screw (16), the washer (13) and the nut (12).
(i) TORQUE the nut (12) to between 0.8 and 0.7 m.daN (70.80 and 61.95 lbf.in )

(4) Install lining 832DZ ( 842DZ) (21):
(a) Engage the lining (21) on the yo-yo rolls.
(b) Install the related washers (3) and the screws (4).
(c) Tighten the screws (4).
(d) Install the handgrip (24):
1 Put the lining (20) in position.
2 Install the spacer (19), handgrip (24), washers (18) and screws (17) and (23).
3 TORQUE the screws (17) and (23) to between 1.06 and 0.82 m.daN (93.81 and 72.57 lbf.in )

4 Install the grip cover (22) on the handgrip (24).
5 Make sure that you hear a click when the lugs (28) of the grip cover (22) engage correctly.
(5) Install lining 832EZ ( 842EZ) (2):
(a) Engage the lining (2) on the yo-yo rolls.
(b) Install the related washers (3) and the screws (4).
(c) Tighten the screws (4).
(6) Install lining 832GZ ( 842GZ) (9):
(a) Put the lining (9) in position and install the pin (5).
(b) Safety the pin (5) with a new AIPC 25-23-04-01-260 COTTER PIN (6) or AIPC 25-23-04-07-260 COTTER PIN (6) or AIPC 25-23-04-08-260 COTTER PIN (6).
(c) Connect the rod (7) to the lining (9).
(7) Install lining 832FZ ( 842FZ) (8):
(a) Put the lining (8) in position.
(b) Put the bracket in position and install the related washers (3) and the screws (4).
(c) Tighten the screws (4).
(d) If you removed the grip (27), put it in position and install the washers (25) and the screws (26).
(e) Tighten the screws (26).

B. Installation of the Linings

Door Linings - AFT Passenger/Crew Doors ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

4 Install the grip cover (22) on the handgrip (24).
5 Make sure that you hear a click when the lugs (28) of the grip cover (22) engage correctly.
(5) Install lining 832EZ ( 842EZ) (2):
(a) Engage the lining (2) on the yo-yo rolls.
(b) Install the related washers (3) and the screws (4).
(c) Tighten the screws (4).
(6) Install lining 832GZ ( 842GZ) (9):
(a) Put the lining (9) in position and install the pin (5).
(b) Safety the pin (5) with a new . AIPC 25-23-84-01-490 PIN (6)
(c) Connect the rod (7) to the lining (9).
(7) Install lining 832FZ ( 842FZ) (8):
(a) Put the lining (8) in position.
(b) Put the bracket in position and install the related washers (3) and the screws (4).
(c) Tighten the screws (4).
(d) If you removed the grip (27), put it in position and install the washers (25) and the screws (26).
(e) Tighten the screws (26).

B. Installation of the Linings

Door Linings - AFT Passenger/Crew Doors ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Install lining 832AZ ( 842AZ) (9):
(a) Engage lining 832AZ ( 842AZ) (9) on the yo-yo rolls.
(b) Install the related washers (11) and the screws (10).
(c) Tighten the screws (10).
(2) Install lining 832BZ ( 842BZ) (3):
(a) Engage lining 832BZ ( 842BZ) (3) on the yo-yo rolls.
(b) Install the related washers (11) and the screws (10).
(c) Tighten the screws (10).
(d) Make sure that you can move the door window shade correctly.
(3) Install lining 832CZ ( 842CZ) (1):
(a) Remove the safety pin (20).
(b) Engage lining 832CZ ( 842CZ) (1) on the yo-yo rolls.
(c) Install the safety pin (20).
(d) Install the related washers (11) and the screws (10).
(e) Tighten the screws (10).
(f) Put the handle plate (21) in position on the emergency control handle (22).
(g) Make sure that the handle plate (21) is installed on the opposite side of the emergency control handle (22).
(h) Install the screw (23), the washer (18) and the nut (19).
(i) TORQUE the nut (19) to between 0.80 and 0.70 m.daN (70.80 and 61.95 lbf.in )

(4) Install lining 832DZ ( 842DZ) (12):
(a) If you removed the CABIN PRESSURE warning light (34) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-22-400-002) and the SLIDE ARMED indicator light (32) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-21-400-002), install them.
(b) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(d) Put lining 832DZ ( 842DZ) (12) in position.
(e) Connect the electrical connectors (33).
(f) Engage lining 832DZ ( 842DZ) (12) on the yo-yo rolls.
(g) Install the related washers (11) and the screws (10).
(h) Tighten the screws (10).
(i) Make sure that you can move the door window shade correctly.
(j) Install the handgrip (26):
1 Put the lining (24) in position.
2 Install the spacer (25), handgrip (26), washers (27) and screws (28) and (31).
3 Tighten the screws (28) and (31).
4 Install the hand grip cover (30) on the handgrip (26).
5 Make sure that you hear a click when the lugs (29) of the hand grip cover (30) engage correctly.
(5) Install lining 832EZ ( 842EZ) (2):
(a) Engage lining 832EZ ( 842EZ) (2) on the yo-yo rolls.
(b) Install the related washers (11) and the screws (10).
(c) Tighten the screws (10).
(6) Install lining 832GZ ( 842GZ) (8):
(a) Put lining 832GZ ( 842GZ) (8) in position and install the pin (16).
(b) Safety the pin (16) with a new AIPC 25-23-84-01-490 COTTER PIN (15) or AIPC 25-23-04-01-260 COTTER PIN (15).
(c) Connect the rod (17) to lining 832GZ ( 842GZ) (8).
(7) Install lining 832FZ ( 842FZ) (7):
(a) Put lining 832FZ ( 842FZ) (7) in position.
(b) Turn the brackets counterclockwise and tighten the screws (14) (refer to detail C).
(c) Install the related washers (11) and the screws (10).
(d) Tighten the screws (10).
(e) Put the grip (4) in position and install the washers (5) and the screws (6).
(f) Tighten the screws (6).

Subtask 25-23-46-710-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

C. Operational Test
(1) Do an operational test of the SLIDE ARMED indicator-light of the aft passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-00-710-001).
(2) Do an operational test of the CABIN PRESSURE warning-light of the aft passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-00-710-004).

Subtask 25-23-46-410-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Install the cabin escape facilities:
(a) For 832AZ:
Install the left-hand escape slide (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-400-006) or the left-hand escape slide-raft (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-400-007).
(b) For 842AZ:
Install the right-hand escape slide (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-400-802) or the right-hand escape slide-raft (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-400-803).
(2) Install the lights:
(a) For 832DZ and 842DZ: Install the SLIDE ARMED indicator light (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-21-400-002) and the CABIN PRESSURE warning light (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-22-400-002).

Subtask 25-23-46-410-053-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the cabin escape facilities:
(a) For 832AZ:
Install the left escape slide (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-400-006) or the left escape slide-raft (Ref. AMM D/O 25-62-44-40).
(b) For 842AZ:
Install the right escape slide (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-400-802) or the right escape slide-raft (Ref. AMM D/O 25-62-44-40).
(3) Do the special precautions after work on the doors (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
