A. Get Access

WARNING: DO NOT OPEN THE PASSENGER/CREW DOOR IF THE WIND SPEED IS MORE THAN 65 KNOTS.

WARNING: BEFORE YOU START WORK ON THE DOOR, MAKE SURE THAT:

THE EMERGENCY CONTROL HANDLE IS IN THE DISARMED POSITION WITH THE SAFETY PIN INSTALLED.
THE PERCUSSION LEVER OF THE DOOR-DAMPER AND EMERGENCY-OPERATION CYLINDER IS IN THE DISARMED POSITION WITH THE SAFETY PIN INSTALLED.

IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, THE DOOR CAN OPEN WITH FORCE OR THE ESCAPE SLIDE CAN DEPLOY SUDDENLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.

WARNING: STOP THE OPENING PROCEDURE IF THE RED WARNING LIGHT FLASHES. IF THE RED WARNING LIGHT FLASHES, REMAINING PRESSURE CAN CAUSE THE DOOR TO OPEN SUDDENLY AND CAN:

KILL OR CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY TO PERSONS
CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at the applicable aft passenger/crew door 832 or 842.
(2) Open the aft passenger/crew door 832 ( 842), (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Obey the special precautions before you start work on the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 52-73-21-020-051-A

A. Removal of the SLIDE ARMED Indicator-Light

SLIDE ARMED Indicator-Light of the Aft Passenger/Crew Door

(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the electrical receptacle (4).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) On the lining panel (5), push the tabs (1) of the SLIDE ARMED indicator-light (2).
(4) Remove the SLIDE ARMED indicator-light (2).
