Subtask 52-22-11-010-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
(1) Open emergency exit door 834 or 844 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001).
(2) Obey the special precautions on the door damper and emergency operation cylinder (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-003).
(3) Remove the door lining from the applicable emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-013)
(4) Carefully disconnect the Velcro tape and remove the insulation mats from the applicable emergency-exit door structure.
Subtask 52-22-11-010-054-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Open emergency exit door 834 or 844 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001).
(2) Obey the special precautions on the door damper and emergency operation cylinder (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-003).
(3) Remove the door lining from the applicable emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-013)
(4) Carefully disconnect the Velcro tape and remove the insulation mats from the applicable emergency-exit door structure.
A. Get Access
(1) Open emergency exit door 835 or 845 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001).
(2) Obey the special precautions on the door damper and emergency operation cylinder (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-003).
(3) Remove the door lining from the applicable emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-802).
(4) Carefully disconnect the Velcro tape and remove the insulation mats from the applicable emergency-exit door structure.
Subtask 52-22-11-615-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Open emergency exit door 835 or 845 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001).
(2) Obey the special precautions on the door damper and emergency operation cylinder (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-003).
(3) Remove the door lining from the applicable emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-802).
(4) Carefully disconnect the Velcro tape and remove the insulation mats from the applicable emergency-exit door structure.
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
Subtask 52-22-11-220-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Inspection
(1) Do a detailed inspection of the internal structure of the left and right aft emergency-exit-doors for damage or discontinuities.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damages types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 52-22-11-210-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do a detailed inspection of the internal structure of the left and right aft emergency-exit-doors for damage or discontinuities.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damages types, classification and corrective action.
B. General Inspection of the Aft Emergency-Exit-Doors
(1) Examine the drain holes at the bottom of the aft emergency-exit-door structure. Make sure that they are not blocked.
(2) Examine all the rivets of the aft emergency-exit-door structure:
(a) If a rivet is missing, install a new rivet with the correct sealant.
(b) If you find damaged or loose rivets, replace them.
(3) Examine the sealant of all the structure components for the correct condition. If necessary, remove the damaged sealant with the SCRAPER - WOODEN or the SCRAPER - PLASTIC and apply new sealant.
(4) Make sure that all the attachment screws and bolts of the aft emergency-exit-door structure are correctly tightened.
(5) Make sure that the paint is in the correct condition (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-12-300-001).
Subtask 52-22-11-916-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Examine the drain holes at the bottom of the aft emergency-exit-door structure. Make sure that they are not blocked.

C. Check and Application of the TPS Layer
(1) If you removed the TPS at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If you did not remove the TPS at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
5. Close-up(1) If you removed the TPS at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If you did not remove the TPS at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
Subtask 52-22-11-410-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Put the insulation mats on the applicable emergency-exit door structure and attach them with Velcro tape.
(3) Install the door lining on the applicable emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-013)
(4) Obey the special precautions on the door damper and emergency operation cylinder (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-004).
(5) Close emergency exit door 834 or 844 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-001).
Subtask 52-22-11-410-054-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Put the insulation mats on the applicable emergency-exit door structure and attach them with Velcro tape.
(3) Install the door lining on the applicable emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-013)
(4) Obey the special precautions on the door damper and emergency operation cylinder (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-004).
(5) Close emergency exit door 834 or 844 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-001).
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

(3) Install the door lining on the applicable emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-802).

(5) Close emergency exit door 835 or 845 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-001).
