B. Get Access
(1) Open the passenger/crew door 832 (842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(2) Remove the cabin escape facilities:
(a) For 832AZ:
Remove the left-hand escape slide (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-000-002) or the left hand escape slide-raft (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-000-012).
(b) For 842AZ:
Remove the right-hand escape slide (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-000-802) or the right-hand escape slide-raft (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-000-804).
(3) Remove the lights:
(a) For 832DZ and 842DZ: Remove the SLIDE ARMED indicator light (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-21-000-002) and the CABIN PRESSURE warning light (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-22-000-002).

B. Get Access
(1) Open passenger/crew door 832 (842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(2) Remove the cabin escape facilities:
(a) For 832AZ:
Remove the left escape slide (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-000-002) or the left escape slide-raft (Ref. AMM D/O 25-62-44-00).
(b) For 842AZ:
Remove the right escape slide (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-000-802) or the right escape slide-raft (Ref. AMM D/O 25-62-44-00).

4. Procedure

WARNING: BEFORE YOU START WORK ON THE DOOR, MAKE SURE THAT:

THE EMERGENCY CONTROL HANDLE IS IN THE DISARMED POSITION WITH THE SAFETY PIN INSTALLED.
THE PERCUSSION LEVER OF THE DOOR-DAMPER AND EMERGENCY-OPERATION CYLINDER IS IN THE DISARMED POSITION WITH THE SAFETY PIN INSTALLED.

IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, THE DOOR CAN OPEN WITH FORCE OR THE ESCAPE SLIDE CAN DEPLOY SUDDENLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.

Subtask 25-23-46-020-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Linings

Door Linings - AFT Passenger/Crew Doors ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Remove lining 832FZ (842FZ) (8):
(a) If necessary, remove the screws (26), the washers (25) and the grip (27).
(b) Remove the related screws (4) and the related washers (3).
(c) Loosen the related screws and turn the brackets down (refer to detail D).
(d) Carefully release the lining (8) from the yo-yo rolls and remove the lining (8).
(2) Remove lining 832GZ (842GZ) (9):
(a) Disconnect the rod (7) from the lining (9).
(b) Remove and discard the cotter pin (6).
(c) Remove the pin (5).
(d) Remove the lining (9).
(3) Remove lining 832EZ (842EZ) (2):
(a) Remove the related screws (4) and the related washers (3).
(b) Carefully release the lining (2) from the yo-yo rolls and remove the lining (2).
(4) Remove lining 832DZ (842DZ) (21):

CAUTION: DO NOT USE TOO MUCH FORCE WHEN YOU REMOVE THE COVER AS THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE RETAINER.

(a) Put the 995000 TOOL-MANUAL RELEASE between the handgrip cover (22) and the handgrip (24).
(b) Carefully push the lugs (28) of the handgrip cover (22) in the direction of the arrows and remove the handgrip cover (22).
(c) Remove the screws (17) and (23), the washers (18) and the handgrip (24).
(d) Remove the spacer (19) and the lining (20).
(e) Remove the related screws (4) and the related washers (3).
(f) Carefully release the lining (21) from the yo-yo rolls.
(5) Remove lining 832CZ (842CZ) (1):
(a) Remove the nut (12), washer (13), screw (16) and handle plate (14) from the emergency control handle (15).
(b) Remove the related screws (4) and the related washers (3).
(c) Remove the safety pin (29).
(d) Carefully release the lining (1) from the yo-yo rolls and remove the lining (1).
(e) Install the safety pin (29).
(6) Remove lining 832BZ (842BZ) (10):
(a) Remove the related screws (4) and the related washers (3).
(b) Carefully release the lining (10) from the yo-yo rolls and remove the lining (10).
(7) Remove lining 832AZ (842AZ) (11):
(a) Remove the related screws (4) and the related washers (3).
(b) Carefully release the lining (11) from the yo-yo rolls and remove the lining (11).

A. Removal of the Linings

Door Linings - AFT Passenger/Crew Doors ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Remove lining 832FZ ( 842FZ) (7):
(a) If necessary, remove the screws (6), the washers (5) and the grip (4).
(b) Remove the related screws (10) and (14) and the related washers (11).
(c) Loosen the related screws and turn the brackets down (refer to detail C).
(d) Remove lining 832FZ ( 842FZ) (7).
(2) Remove lining 832GZ ( 842GZ) (8):
(a) Disconnect the rod (17) from lining 832GZ ( 842GZ) (8).
(b) Remove and discard the cotter pin (15).
(c) Remove the pin (16).
(d) Remove lining 832GZ ( 842GZ) (8).
(3) Remove lining 832EZ ( 842EZ) (2):
(a) Remove the related screws (10) and the related washers (11).
(b) Carefully release lining 832EZ ( 842EZ) (2) from the yo-yo rolls.
(c) Remove lining 832EZ ( 842EZ) (2).
(4) Remove lining 832DZ ( 842DZ) (12):

CAUTION: DO NOT USE TOO MUCH FORCE WHEN YOU REMOVE THE COVER AS THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE RETAINER.

(a) Put the 995000 TOOL-MANUAL RELEASE between the handgrip cover (30) and the handgrip (26).
(b) Carefully push the lugs (29) of the handgrip cover (30) in the direction of the arrows and remove the handgrip cover (30).
(c) Remove the screws (31) and (28), the washers (27) and the handgrip (26).
(d) Remove the spacer (25) and the lining (24).
(e) Remove the related screws (10) and the related washers (11).
(f) Carefully release lining 832DZ ( 842DZ) (12) from the yo-yo rolls.
(g) Disconnect the electrical connectors (33).
(h) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(i) Remove lining 832DZ ( 842DZ) (12).
(j) If necessary, remove the SLIDE ARMED indicator-light (32) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-21-000-002) and the CABIN PRESSURE warning-light (34) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-22-000-002).
(5) Remove lining 832CZ ( 842CZ) (1):
(a) Remove the nut (19), washer (18), screw (23) and handle plate (21) from the emergency control handle (22).
(b) Remove the related screws (10) and the related washers (11).
(c) Remove the safety pin (20).
(d) Carefully release lining 832CZ ( 842CZ) (1) from the yo-yo rolls.
(e) Remove lining 832CZ ( 842CZ) (1).
(f) Install the safety pin (20).
(6) Remove lining 832BZ ( 842BZ) (3):
(a) Remove the related screws (10) and the related washers (11).
(b) Carefully release lining 832BZ ( 842BZ) (3) from the yo-yo rolls.
(c) Remove lining 832BZ ( 842BZ) (3).
(7) Remove lining 832AZ ( 842AZ) (9):
(a) Remove the related screws (10) and the related washers (11).
(b) Carefully release lining 832AZ ( 842AZ) (9) from the yo-yo rolls.
(c) Remove lining 832AZ ( 842AZ) (9).
