A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the overhead panel, on the SIGNS section of panel 25VU, make sure that EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL is set to OFF (the OFF legend is on).
(3) On Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, make sure that the LIGHT EMER pushbutton switch is released (the red integral light of the LIGHT EMER pushbutton switch goes off).
(4) On panels 25VU and 120RH, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to operate EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL and the LIGHT EMER pushbutton switch.
(5) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(6) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(7) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
Subtask 25-23-45-860-053-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized

(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized

(2) Make sure that the forward passenger/crew door at zone 831 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that emergency exit sign 41WL is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-16-000-001).
(4) Make sure that cabin emergency light 21WL is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-11-000-001).
(5) Make sure that cabin wall-mounted emergency-exit-marker 90WL1 is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-13-000-001).
(6) Make sure that the individual air outlet is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 21-24-19-000-001).
(7) On the overhead panel, on the SIGNS section of panel 25VU, make sure that EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL is set to OFF (the OFF legend is on).

Subtask 25-23-45-210-075-A
A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that all placards of the retained/new components are in their correct positions and in a good condition.
(4) If necessary, install new placards (Ref. AMM TASK 11-00-00-400-002) and (Ref. AMM D/O 11-32-25-00).
Subtask 25-23-45-420-056-D (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that all placards of the retained/new components are in their correct positions and in a good condition.
(4) If necessary, install new placards (Ref. AMM TASK 11-00-00-400-002) and (Ref. AMM D/O 11-32-25-00).
B. Installation of Door Frame Linings 221AW, 221BW, 221CW, 221EW, 221FW, 221RW, 221SW, 221VW, 231CW, 231BW and 231AW
(1) Install lining 231CW (10), if removed:
(a) Put lining 231CW (10) in position and engage the ceiling panel.
(b) Install the seal assembly.
(2) Install lining 231BW (9), if removed:
(a) Put lining 231BW (9) in position and engage the attachment brackets into the yo-yo rolls.
(b) Install the washers (13) and the screws (12).
(c) Tighten the screws (12).
(3) Install lining 231AW (8), if removed:
(a) Put lining 231AW (8) in position and engage the attachment brackets into the yo-yo rolls.
(b) Install the washers (31) and the screws (32).
(c) Tighten the screws (32).
(4) Install the sidewall panel(s), if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-43-400-001).
(5) Install lining 221RW (7):
(a) Put lining 221RW (7) in position and install the washers (13) and the screws (12).
(b) Do not tighten the screws (12) at this time.
(c) Install the handgrip (21):
1 Put the spacer (20) (if necessary), the handgrip (21) and the plates (22) in position.
2 Install the screws (23) and (26).
3 TORQUE the screws (23) and (26) to between 0.88 and 0.72 m.daN (77.88 and 63.72 lbf.in )

4 Install the handgrip cover (25).
5 Make sure that the lugs (24) of the handgrip cover (25) engage correctly until you hear a click.
(d) Tighten the screws (12).
(6) Install lining 221CW (5):
(a) Put lining 221CW (5) in position and install the washers (33) and the screws (34).
(b) Tighten the screws (34).
(7) Install lining 221VW (2):
(a) Put lining 221VW (2) in position and install the washers (33) and the screws (34).
(b) Tighten the screws (34).
(8) Install lining 221FW (6):
(a) Put lining 221FW (6) in position and install the washers (33) and the screws (34).
(b) Tighten the screws (34).
(c) Put the latch hook (29) in position and install the washers (27) and the screws (28).
(d) Tighten the screws (28).
(9) Install lining 221AW (4):
(a) Put lining 221AW (4) in position and engage the attachment brackets into the yo-yo rolls.
(b) Install the washers (36) and the screws (35).
(c) Tighten the screws (35).
(10) Install lining 221BW (3):
(a) Put lining 221BW (3) in position and install the washers (13), (36) and (38) and the screws (12), (35) and (37).
(b) Tighten the screws (12), (35) and (37).
(11) Install linings 221EW (1) and 221SW (11):
(a) Put lining 221EW (1) in position and engage the attachment brackets into the yo-yo rolls.
(b) Install emergency oxygen container 28WR, If necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-41-400-001).
(c) Make sure that there is a clearance of 2.0 +0.0 -0.5 mm (0.08 +0.00 -0.02 in.) on each side of the oxygen container doors (Ref. AMM TASK 35-23-00-710-001).
(d) Put lining 221SW (11) in position.
(e) Install the washers (36) and the screws (35).
(f) Tighten the screws (35).
(g) Install the washers (13) and (18) and the screws (12), (15) and (19).
(h) Do not tighten the screws (12) at this time.
(i) Tighten the screws (15) and (19) and install the caps (14).
(j) Install the handgrip (21):
1 Put the spacer (20) (if necessary), the handgrip (21) and the plates (22) in position.
2 Install the screws (26) and (23).
3 TORQUE the screws (23) and (26) to between 0.88 and 0.72 m.daN (77.88 and 63.72 lbf.in )
.
4 Install the handgrip cover (25).
5 Make sure that the lugs (24) of the handgrip cover engage correctly until you hear a click.
(k) Tighten the screws (12).
(l) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(m) Connect the hose (16).
(n) Tighten the screw of the clamp (17).
(o) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(p) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(q) Connect the electrical connector (30).
Subtask 25-23-45-942-054-A (1) Install lining 231CW (10), if removed:
(a) Put lining 231CW (10) in position and engage the ceiling panel.
(b) Install the seal assembly.
(2) Install lining 231BW (9), if removed:
(a) Put lining 231BW (9) in position and engage the attachment brackets into the yo-yo rolls.
(b) Install the washers (13) and the screws (12).
(c) Tighten the screws (12).
(3) Install lining 231AW (8), if removed:
(a) Put lining 231AW (8) in position and engage the attachment brackets into the yo-yo rolls.
(b) Install the washers (31) and the screws (32).
(c) Tighten the screws (32).
(4) Install the sidewall panel(s), if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-43-400-001).
(5) Install lining 221RW (7):
(a) Put lining 221RW (7) in position and install the washers (13) and the screws (12).
(b) Do not tighten the screws (12) at this time.
(c) Install the handgrip (21):
1 Put the spacer (20) (if necessary), the handgrip (21) and the plates (22) in position.
2 Install the screws (23) and (26).
3 TORQUE the screws (23) and (26) to between 0.88 and 0.72 m.daN (77.88 and 63.72 lbf.in )
. 4 Install the handgrip cover (25).
5 Make sure that the lugs (24) of the handgrip cover (25) engage correctly until you hear a click.
(d) Tighten the screws (12).
(6) Install lining 221CW (5):
(a) Put lining 221CW (5) in position and install the washers (33) and the screws (34).
(b) Tighten the screws (34).
(7) Install lining 221VW (2):
(a) Put lining 221VW (2) in position and install the washers (33) and the screws (34).
(b) Tighten the screws (34).
(8) Install lining 221FW (6):
(a) Put lining 221FW (6) in position and install the washers (33) and the screws (34).
(b) Tighten the screws (34).
(c) Put the latch hook (29) in position and install the washers (27) and the screws (28).
(d) Tighten the screws (28).
(9) Install lining 221AW (4):
(a) Put lining 221AW (4) in position and engage the attachment brackets into the yo-yo rolls.
(b) Install the washers (36) and the screws (35).
(c) Tighten the screws (35).
(10) Install lining 221BW (3):
(a) Put lining 221BW (3) in position and install the washers (13), (36) and (38) and the screws (12), (35) and (37).
(b) Tighten the screws (12), (35) and (37).
(11) Install linings 221EW (1) and 221SW (11):
(a) Put lining 221EW (1) in position and engage the attachment brackets into the yo-yo rolls.
(b) Install emergency oxygen container 28WR, If necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-41-400-001).
(c) Make sure that there is a clearance of 2.0 +0.0 -0.5 mm (0.08 +0.00 -0.02 in.) on each side of the oxygen container doors (Ref. AMM TASK 35-23-00-710-001).
(d) Put lining 221SW (11) in position.
(e) Install the washers (36) and the screws (35).
(f) Tighten the screws (35).
(g) Install the washers (13) and (18) and the screws (12), (15) and (19).
(h) Do not tighten the screws (12) at this time.
(i) Tighten the screws (15) and (19) and install the caps (14).
(j) Install the handgrip (21):
1 Put the spacer (20) (if necessary), the handgrip (21) and the plates (22) in position.
2 Install the screws (26) and (23).
3 TORQUE the screws (23) and (26) to between 0.88 and 0.72 m.daN (77.88 and 63.72 lbf.in )
. 4 Install the handgrip cover (25).
5 Make sure that the lugs (24) of the handgrip cover engage correctly until you hear a click.
(k) Tighten the screws (12).
(l) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(m) Connect the hose (16).
(n) Tighten the screw of the clamp (17).
(o) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(p) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(q) Connect the electrical connector (30).
C. Remove the warning notices from panels 25VU and 120RH.
Subtask 25-23-45-865-067-A D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(4) Install emergency exit sign 41WL (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-16-400-001).
(5) Close the forward passenger/crew door at zone 831 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).

(5) Close the forward passenger/crew door at zone 831 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the individual air outlet (Ref. AMM TASK 21-24-19-400-001).
(3) Install cabin wall-mounted emergency-exit-marker 90WL1 (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-13-400-001).
(4) Install cabin emergency light 21WL (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-11-400-001).
(5) Install emergency exit sign 41WL (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-16-400-001).
(6) Close the forward passenger/crew door at zone 831 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
